They have built a lot but they need to add more infrastructure for those homes. Traffic is crazy. I live in St. Cloud and work at Disney and I’ve got an hour + each way commute.
@@magicparkmemories Apologies if my response here is something you know if you know the area, I'm going to write it like you may not be aware. St Cloud is kind of big as a whole. I live much further down the road closer to Live Oak Lake. Where he showed on the map is pretty close to the turnpike which is good, and I would say its really part of Kissimmee and not St Cloud. I would still say during rush hour thats a good 40 minutes from Disney pending on where in Disney you are going. It Might be 30 if your just getting to the Mikey/Minnie sign . The problem with St Cloud is that the Turnpike is basically the main way in or out of town aside from local streets and in the morning everyone is heading to the same place. Its 30+ minutes for me just to get to the turnpike. I like the town, BUT the infrastructure is bad right now as far as having enough roadways and space that get you to and from the turnpike. The other problem is that lights here are not synchronized on those main roads that lead to the turnpike. So you're light turns green and the light at the next street turned red. There is a lot of waiting to move. They really needed to add more wider roads in these areas before they added all of the additional housing. I myself am part of the problem because I have only been here for 3 years now. A lot of people moved in and we keep coming 🙂
No jobs, extreme traffic, and rising crime has come to our area thanks to this over building. Thanks! We are leaving as soon as my daughter graduates in 1.5yrs. Saint Cloud sucks so bad now. One exit off the turnpike for that entire area. No south bound exit either.
Where is all the traffic going to fit, it's a nightmare as of now. I live in Kissimmee. It has taken us sometimes an 1/12 to go 7 miles from Disney. Insane.
Yikes that is going to be a lot of homes! I lived in St. Cloud from 1999 until 2021, my parents are still there. I lived in a newer 1,000 home community for 6 years with my own family, before moving away closer to Orlando area, traffic is so much worse now, whenever I go out to visit my parents it is so bad to get there. I hope they really do find a way to add more options for roads and or a new highway other than the Turnpike.
Can someone please sue the county for allowing a congestion nightmare with no cure. Politicians banking money and sticking it to the existing residents. I always ask the same question....when did the citizens vote to allow all these homes to be built and create a traffic nightmare? No one ever answers from the county....
There are so many people still moving to Florida, this is good for long term growth and to keep prices down. More people and not enough homes = rising prices. So this should keep Central Florida affordable compared to other big cities. It is far away from everything right now…but so was Horizon West when it started, the commercial development always follows residential. You can’t build schools and commercial without the residential to support it being there first. I think Central Florida has done pretty well keeping up with the growth - there are so many roads planned. We didn’t ask everyone to move here! But we’re making room for them as best we can. It’s great they already have the new high school for this area starting and the turnpike off ramp. This area is a closer drive to the beaches too. My gps says 31 mins from cross Prairie to the Polynesian resort right now. I think that’s going to vary a lot depending on the time of day. It really depends how close your home is to the turnpike on ramp.
Also, it’s not terrible that the states not paying for the roads up front - make the developers do private partnerships - they are making profit- we can’t pay for all the roads upfront with tax payer money while they just reap the profits- they can and will chip in. And the people who owned this land for a long time just cashed out by selling to developers- can you blame those long time landowners for making money on land they probably bought eons ago? You can’t take that right away from people. I love the natural environment in this area very much and being a FL resident I know they are going to have to leave a lot of this natural because developers are required to make sure land is left to absorb the rain with our shallow ground water tables. It will be a good mix of green space and housing.
Excellent commute times…if you have your own private helicopter…no way you’re getting to Disney area in 25 minutes…weak sales pitch…keep trying…most of those builders are known for very inferior quality homes…shoddy construction…the infrastructure will not support the amount of people that will crowd that area…with the increased population, crime will skyrocket…it will be another Kissimmee…those that are unaware (out-of-state buyers) will soon realize after their purchase the mistake they made by moving here…but it will be a gold mine for RE agents to rack up those comi$$ions.
Just typed it into Google maps and Apple Maps. 23 min from Crossprairie to Walt Disney world. 91 to 417 and over. I tried it again at 530 today and it was 37 minutes. No helicopter. 🚁
For those concerned about traffic- there is going to be a New Nolte Exit, Turnpike expansion, and growth of existing roadways. You also may be getting an additional exit south of Nolte when Green Island is built out.
Aahh. Kinda like the developments on US 27 from Clermont to Haines City. Lotta empty houses in a place no one wants to live, with no jobs or economic drivers. Go check zillow, check how many are for rent and sale from Clermont to Haines City. Its a disgrace to florida. All these companies will tell you its a great idea though. This market area directly outside of Orange county, imo will collapse.
Osceola County hands down closer to Disney and has better shopping and restaurants closer to Lake Nona Amenities and closer to Hunter Creek Loop area shopping. Lake county Clermont and minneola traffic is some of the worst!
@ The fact is they wouldn’t be making more HOA’s if people wouldn’t buy into them. There is a market for them and people will capitalize on it. Learn about supply and demand before commenting.
@@williamgarcia9114 You can't be this out of touch ? This video is about Florida real estate , there's a shortage of homes in a state that's mostly HOA . Do the math..smh
@ it’s because more people are moving to Florida and the state cannot keep up. If someone wants to have a home that’s not HOA, go buy some land and build. No one is forcing people to stay in Florida. This is a cry me a river scenario. If you cannot afford it, there is some decisions you be made.
Homes but no jobs or businesses in Saint Cloud. The county took the tax money and wasted it on Neocity. This is definitely a sponsored video by the developers.
All of the waterfront amenities will end up behind gated communities and all the fertilizers from the lawns will ruin the lakes, can we get open public access to the water and good runoff management
You can have it. And that mouse. I bought 17 acres Away from this, And, can't nothin be built around it. Y'all make sure ya keep enough land for grave sites, these are full, And all these people living right up each other's@, gonna be some disagreement's. It might be you who's reading this.? Bye. Tell ol Mickey to go to ooo
Jones homes realtors lie a lot. I’ve had two realtors lie to me about my current property also all my neighbors 25 out 31 people who bought homes from them sold and moved. Smh.
@ Harmony it’s a beautiful place the main complaints were the realtors who lied about what were upgrades and what weren’t, amenities, every single home owner was told about the hoa fees but not the hidden CDD fees , and lots of other things that were just not said. If it wasn’t for the principle of being honest I wouldn’t don’t have much to say. As adults most people are aware of things happen but just don’t lie about it.
Stop building unaffordable houses with nothing to do nearby there’s plenty already in the area I’d never buy a house knowing my commute would be 1-2 hours and insurance rates going up for low paying jobs. Also plenty of airbnbs already so not sure who’s buying this but just cash buyers parking their money
The schools in Osceola county are the worst. You only move over there because you’re priced out of Orange County. 192 canoe Creek Road Narcoossee boggy Creek are some of the worst roads in central Florida. The postage stamps lots of St. Cloud and Kissimmee are terrible cars all over the road can’t even drive down the street. Winter Garden is where everyone should look.
15 mins to Nona from Kissimmee Park is a damn lie lol
💯🤣🤣
Stick It To The Future Residents is how the County and the Developers are going to figure it out ! ! !
🤑🤑🤑🤑
The roads are not ready for all these homes. That is why traffic is so bad. The area is not ready for the population growth.

Wow ! Who is buying all these homes? There’s a major surplus of Florida homes and no one is buying (like they have previously). Great video!
Horrible Traffic to get even worst 😂😂😂.
That area is really nice and chill. I like the shopping centers around it. Not to far from Disney
It’s great to see Central Florida expanding!
20k+ homes south of st cloud which is already massive on its own. Better build some roads!
