This has been my dream guitar since I was in my teens, a guitar that is lightweight that I can use to practice anywhere, and when you plugged in - it sounded like a big body acoustic guitar. I played Ikaw Lang by Nobita at the end of the video to test the guitar. I hope you guys enjoy and like the video

Spammers and scammers are it again, please don't believe them. They're pretending to be me by taking my profile pic and saying you'll get a "flying guitar" which is so funny, and Telegram? I don't even know that platform exists. Please report them immediately, thanks everyone you guys are the best, take care.
Scammer pala yun, muntik na ko
What is a flying guitar lol, maybe they mean flying V
@@DaEpicTable They're making multiple accounts so when I ban one another one will pop up. But they can't make that Flying V right lol.
Good luck, that is no good. See it as a compliment, maybe.
Scammers are the worst but telegram is actually a fantastic platform lol
I can't even sit through a 3 minute music video without being bored but I watched the whole 20 minutes just fascinated. I can't imagine how many years it has taken to get to this level of craftsmanship.
And this is now my dream guitar.
Thank you!
Me too, I was randomly brought here. I usually select videos I want to watch, mostly those which are around 5 minutes duration or maybe 10-15min longest. But this one...I was mesmerised the whole 20min!
Thanks for this video man!
Same here.
This is what the world is missing with mass produced guitars. The love, care and attention to every detail. Job most definitely well done. All I can say is simply amazing....
How much would it cost to build guitars like that? You'd have to use CNC machines, hand working is too expensive.
Then you wouldnt have the money to buy the guitar
“Love” my ass, nothing wrong with a machine, “attention to every detail” its a machine, created to build a perfect thing, Aand there’s Quality Control.
This is a great skill. Make your own guitars the way you you like.
in my country you cant get hardwood legally. not in any quantities to run a commercial business. you also cant import suspiciously felled hardwood. if you declare the fingerboard wood correctly, your new guitar will be impounded.
enjoy this while it lasts, the logging industry cut too many corners (pun intended)! and now we are all punished for throwing away perfectly good 'out of fashion' timber items that we will never see made again.
BTW I see in these build on various channels timber native to my country that I cant legally get. I wonder 'how did they get that?' ahem, yes.
When I first started watching this I was thinking you were basically emulating a Fender Acoustisonic but no you have built a totally original instrument and it looks and sounds gorgeous. Much respect Luthier. :)
Hardly original, I worked for a guitar store 30 years ago called Mooloolaba Music that were making exactly the same thing, both steel string and classical. There's a famous Australian guitarist called Tommy Emmanuel who used to play them exclusively.
I thought that for the first 2 seconds
@@Lucifurionyeah ot was exactly like that. . Give me a break
I've done carpentry all my life, and I appreciate quality work when I see it. You have marvelous hands, and it shows in the building, and the playing as well. Congratulations on both counts.
I love everything about this! If people wonder why it takes so long to make a guitar, you've only shown a fraction of every step, and left out the more tedious steps and all the utility jobs. It can take all afternoon to do any of those individual steps, and then the trick is not to rush it when you're tired.
You must really love this work.
I'm not a builder but I admire your work! FINALLY somebody has made a true acoustic/electric!!! Amazing sound! One imagines Fender will pay your video lots of attention... Instead of just 'hollowing out a telecaster body' you constructed a genuine acoustic instrument in the form factor of an electric. Like everyone who watches this, I'd LOVE to own one of these!
Thanks! Finally someone who really understand the concept. A lot of people thinks that hollowing a body makes it acoustic, but real acoustic depends on the vibration of the top and back - plus how the braces are designed to make it possible.
@@GitaraMaker I think so too. I am curious if there are different contact mic options out there that could bring more bass response into the mix. I know you could EQ this guitar to sound like a large body dreadnought for an "on stage" situation where a real one would just feed back. But I suspect that different contact mic placement and different types of contact mics could create a low end response that I am not currently hearing in the sound test. It's lovely, and lively and sounds like a very small vintage parlour acoustic. Which is nice.
@@GitaraMaker wow! Amazing.
@@GitaraMaker going in, I was totally convinced this would be a gimmick and you hadn't actually considered acoustic guitars unique tonality. I'm so very glad to have been wrong, this instrument is outstanding. I also really love the braces you used to hold the back cover in place while it dried, neat things.
“Who the hell needs Fender Acoustasonic when you can build something better?”
You have every right to say that line. That’s really badass. Bravo! That guitar is so beautiful!
So true ! But in fenders defense, someone has to come up with an idea for someone else to improve Upon it. This guy definitely did! Stunning!
Every detail of this guitar is wonderful: the wood, the shapes, the ebony strips, the tony details, etc. A truly magnificent instrument and a work of art.
It's a great job. Very well executed and the result is a masterpiece! Congrats!
Awestruck… thank you for taking us on the the journey of creating this masterpiece. Bravo!
Love the sound of both pickups, middle switch position, the whole project sounds stunning. My second job was woodworker, and your esthetics of letting the wood's
natural character speak honestly is the most honoring finish to the tree that now lives again, on up one octave ;-) thanks for a spot on lutherie video .
Excellent tone! With the neck and transducer pick ups it has a subtle reverb that sounds awesome. Beautiful to look at and beautiful to hear. 10/10!
Done very well! I'm really impressed with your attention to detail on the interior. You've made a very beautiful guitar!
*The craftsmanship and dedication for this build is absolutely incredible.*
Thanks!
Absolutely beautiful all around. The sound the look, the playing skill.
Thank you for this
Wow! Absolutely stunning!
Gorgeous work. Particularly enjoyed the vast array of improvised hand tools used in the construction. Thanks for sharing your talent.
Everything about this guitar, your craftsmanship and playing is FANTASTIC. I am a fan! 👍👍👍
Incredible build... Fantastic!
Such great work and care put into this build. Great job!
I am no guitarist, nor am I a wood worker but I loved this and think this was a gorgeous build. I love seeing what we humans can still do in this world! Thank you
Thank you!
What an absolute STUNNER of a guitar. I wish more manufacturers made stuff like this, but It’d never have the handmade charm you brought to this instrument.
Just WOW! Great Video! What a amazing Craftsmanship!
The sound is so sweet . All the care put into its construction seems to return it. Congratulations .
That's the most beautiful guitar I've ever seen and the sounds it produces are just heavenly. Great job.
Thank you!
wow!!astounding sound and amazing skills as a builder!!
These guitars are so awesome! The uniqueness of these just makes them even THAT much cooler! Your craftsmanship is more than just amazing? It’s all next level!
This is an incredible creation!!! Wow!!!
A work of art! Beautiful!
Absolutely beautiful! Great construction process and what an awesome guitar!
This is Art, from start to finish and on so many different levels! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you!
All I can say is wow. Beautiful guitar and awesome job building something so beautiful.
Such craftsmanship. Such talent. It's off the scale. Every moment was mesmerising. Bravo!
Absolutely gorgeous guitar and great craftsmanship throughout. I'm impressed with the innovation in your design. I would love to see a follow-up video after the guitar settles for a while to see how the wood is holding up since you made such unconventional (but stunning) choices.
Amazing woodworking talent, wonderful video nice sounding guitar 🎸
Man!... thats one beautiful guitar...the sounds coming from it..heavenly
That is just awesome. Beautiful work of art. This was a great video to watch. It was reading a book. Did not want to stop watching till you were finished. Very enjoyable. Hope to watch more new videos.
After 2 minutes I was amazed at the workmanship after 4 minutes I was completely blown away. Absolutely fantastic job well done
Thank you!
Man, both the video and the guitar are phenomenal. Great work!
Thanks!
The soundtrack while constructing was wonderful. Loved it so much!
Simply beautiful!
You are an artist. Both in the crafting of the guitar and as a player. Beautiful instrument.
Thank you!
Oh man, I could just feel that wood, the chisel smoothly biting into it, the satisfying plop as a control cover fits into its recess perfectly. I have never done any woodworking in my life and I’m too old (70) and arthritic to start but thank you for taking us along on that fantastic ride. I could almost smell the sawdust and shellac. A wonderful sensory and calming piece and amazingly informative without a narrative. Many thanks and more power to your elbow! Alan Charles Melbourne Derbyshire
Thank you! I'm very glad you liked it. I wish I could write as beautiful as yours. Have a good one my friend.
70's not too late!
And you might even find it helps with your joint mobility and range of movement.
With *sharp* tools and the right technique you don't have to apply huge pressure, so it shouldn't injure your hands.
You could try a short (or long) course at Crimson Guitars.
Cheers from the other end of the world 🙂
I too am 70....busy building a huge dolls house....and when that's done, will be building a 12 string body for a salvaged 12 string neck... yer never too old but maybe a bit slower !!!!
Great work, thanks for providing all the details, definitely got some ideas for my own builds.
One of my favorite things is the matching backplates for electronics. This is absolutely gorgeous. Bravo!
That is freaking impressive. Love it!
Thank you!
Great video! Outstanding guitar design and construction and better sound quality.. I hope to see a an acoustic size electric guitar! Best wishes
Amazing build! One of the best builds I’ve seen on UA-cam.
Beautiful! Artfully done. Thank you!
This is truly marvelous! I am trying to build my first 2 guitars from scratch, starting this weekend, but THIS is what I want to work my way up to. Really absolutely amazing!!!
I'm planning to make a longer video or step by step, but probably on a new channel. Have fun with your build!
If only I had the experience and skill you have.........what a fabulous instrument and tribute to the trees that live on in hands like yours.
Thank you! Some of the wood that I built is from fallen trees from our neighbors, I've kept them for years to dry up before using them.
Fantastic, beautiful, great sound
Beautiful looking and sounding, loved the making process!
What you have accomplished is very very impressive here. It sounds fantastic, hope you kept it :)
Thank you! Yes I'm keeping the guitar, can't stop playing it.
this is exactly what i’m looking for but no one makes them at a production level. love the sound of an acoustic guitar but i need the playability (form factor) of an electric. 👏🏽🔥
So, make one!
Sounds great! What commitment ,I'm floored
Beautiful! Guitar and sound, are delightful! ❤
Nice one bro, ang ganda
Salamat bro!
I usually have the attention span of a goldfish, but this held me right to the end. What a beautiful instrument man, that's something to hand down 👏
This is absolutely amazing. I love these kinds of videos and especially now this is really helpful for me. I'm making a website about the processes of building guitars for a school project and this covers a huge area of it. So all in all: Thank you.
Excellent all around. Great playing and craftsmanship. I built a tele body recently and now I’m inspired to make the whole thing. Peace!
This guitar is so beautifully made, reminds me of the word, you are wonderfully and fearfully made. Sounds amazing 🙏🏾
see you in the sky brother.
Wow - what an amazing skill you have (and incredible patience!). I was meditating just watching this - it's fascinating and meditative watching you work! And the instrument you crafted is truly a work of art! Wish i could afford to hire you to build my dream instrument! Maybe one day :)
Thank you!
Love this piece of work, it's stunning.
Can I be cheeky and ask a bit more about the piezo choice and placement.
I was going to use a piezo foil under my project bridge but not sure now
Great work
Dave
Hi Dave, I'm using 3 transducer pickups. One is attached just below the bridge and two at the middle part, imagine a mid and bridge pickup placement on a strat, that's where the two pickups are placed. I only taped them temporarily, so I can experiment with it.
@@GitaraMaker thanks for the info.theres a guy on UA-cam putting a piezo foil under the bridge of a telecaster. Quite a good sound
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing your masterpiece build.
Wonderful job. Watching you work is mesmerizing! Thanks for sharing. Gonna start making one right away.
Exquisite woodworking. Looks better, and way more exclusive, than the Fender Acoustasonic guitars. If you'd add a Fishman Aura Spectrum pre-amp pedal or Aura Pro onboard pre-amp to this guitar you get pretty much the same thing as an Acoustasonic.
Thanks for the tip @N J! Will asks my friends if they can lend me one.
@@GitaraMaker i will send u a better pickup than that and it requires less modding n sounds better than the fishman imho ! , it pretty much goes into your existing tele saddle, send me your email!
@@jahstix that's really cool
This video deserves 5M likes simply for the resourcefulness of gluing together some scrap wood so masterfully to make a body.
I also hope so, have a great day ahead. Thanks!
Congrats on this great amazing sounding and looking build . Glad you took the Telecaster look.
Me emociono ao ver tamanha dedicação, profissionalismo, e alma envolvidos e m gerar um instrumento magnífico como esse.
Se eu pudess com certeza iria adquirir um desse.
Parabéns a você criador de instrumentos..👏😍👏
Thank you very much!
Muito bom o resultado final !
Suas mãos são muito habilidosas
Thanks! 😊
gorgeous.. not just the design and sound, but the techniques , thanks for sharing, hope I can put some of them to use one day 😄
Awesome!!! Thanks for the video!
Your content is fantastic. It's like watching movies with great stories and beautiful scenes. I have a concept and don't know if you have done it or considered before, but you could make an acoustic guitar body in the shape of an artist's colour palette. I think it would look great. :) The top could be decorated with different colours possibly giving them transparency with epoxy which in turn can be illuminated from the inside using LEDs. Just a thought. :)
Thanks I'm glad you liked it. That's some wild design which I like, would definitely consider it and try to sketch it first.
👍🏻 LIKE Si estás de acuerdo en que es HERMOSA ESTA GUITARRA 🎸
Beautiful work
Thank you for this How To video. Every second of it was pure joy to watch for the detail and the quality. The final product plugged in sounds like a beautifully crafted hybrid. I want one 😊
Amazing work! Very clever design and construction techniques.
Brilliant...totally original...great build, great sound!
Absolutely stunning. What real craftsmanship. You have got to be really pleased with yourself. Sounds great. Well done to you.
Love your idea about a substitute of a drum sander, that’s sooo inspirational! Thank you!
Just wow. Beautiful instrument you crafted! Your patience and skill to build this work of art is truly inspiring.
Amazing craftsmanship…and sweet playing too. Congratulations!
Absolutely stunning instrument, idea, material, sound! I instantly want it simply from watching the utter care that you put into designing and building it, wow! The idea and rendition is absolutely perfect, what a beauty she is!
Beautiful Guitar, excellent craftsmanship. Sounds great. Thanks for sharing
I've been waiting for this guitar for decades. I went to my first NAMM in 1995 and expressed a desire for one but no one from any company listened. The are a few companies who've created solid body acoustics but they're missing a certain quality. Thank you so much for taking the time to create both the guitar and this video.
Beautiful craftsmanship. 😍
Beatiful guitar! Very well done sir!
Absolutely shocking the beauty in the work and the sounds…priceless…👍
Bravo Maestro, I love seeing your Videos
Brilliant built.
You are a genius. Bravo!
The really good ones make me think I can do it! He makes it look easy. A true craftsman. Thanks!
brilliant craft! a masterpiece!
Beautiful and it sounds AMAZING!!!
Great job man.. i like it and thanks for sharing the idea
Beautiful job! You’re a true craftsman, and the guitar sounds great.
Nicely done. Journeyman craftsmanship there. 👍🏻
Simply AMAZING.

Absolutely wonderful work. Stunning craftsmanship. Great job.
Beautiful guitar. Beautiful video. Truly inspiring.
