I find it interesting and informative to hear farmers explain why they make the decisions that they make. In central illinois, there are farmers that farm 3,000 - 4,000 acres, 250 bushel corn and 75 bushel soybeans with two S series, have no dryers, no grain legs, just a bunch of standalone bins, and they harvest corn at 15 - 16% and run most straight to the elevator. Another farm with similar acreage and crop split might run a new X9 and an older S series, full dryer setup and damn near elevator style grain handling/storage setup. Whatever works, I suppose.
Biggest problem I see is the super high rates of cutting causing jams in trying to get the crops to market. Getting a bigger combine makes you need a bigger grain cart,thus a bigger tractor, more 18 wheelers to haul. This also causes a back up at the mill, their storage and unloading processes, have not kept up with the faster machines.

I liked the inside the edit course from the UK for myself and better editing. You would do well on it! Very much your style.
Ivers Farms had the same problem with building up trash.They put air nozzles on the feeder house...

You van find it on Ivers farms episode 22, even with the installation.
The combine needs a 24 row head for more productivity and a lot less passes across the field.

Everything is shot on a Sony A7 IV with shotgun mic mounted on top. Drone is a Mavic 3. I use Da Vinci Resolve Studio for all my editing, there’s a voice isolation feature that is super handy when it comes to the background noise in machinery. High recommend it.

@@DentonFarms are you using a Sony picture profile or just doing some for grading on reslove as well? I'm currently just using capcut cause I find it to be quick and easy.
All the drone clips are color graded. The Sony is set to a vivid color profile in camera.
What is the dryer you have now?
