A very very famous place... Mithibai... Anand dosa, sandwich, vadapav.. 7 bungalow area... Mouthwatering.. U have reminded of my mumbai days.. Various vadapavs - at small chelas ( fresh hot vadapav for 5-6 rs) , anand vadapav, ashoka vadapav, shivsena vadapav, jumbo king.. Tasty bombay sandwiches at road side and sandwizza.. Then mumbai dosas... Yummy buttery pav bhajis, anna vala idly vada in the morning, chacha ka poha, misal pav / usal pav.. Tamil annas poori sabji... Bhels/ moori/ sing valachat, anna poha & upma...dabeli.....Man.. It was a feast of falvors esp veg street food.
The Vada Pav's of Kirti College, Krishna Vada Pav Dadar (W), Hotel Prakash (Shivaji Park), Hotel Mama Kane (Dadar Station W) have no comparison. They are the best of All
I was in Mithibai in erstwhile Bombay in early 90s. Anand Vada pav was amazing.. Now it's a novelty but using butter and cheese.. Nothing beats the original. Mithibai canteen had the best samosa and paper masala dosa.. Today you reminded the Frankie too used to be at princely amount or Rs 10 for chicken Frankie
Very interesting video Sir...i m from Mumbai...have tried Aanand vada pav and sandwich many times..but never tried punjab sindh's lassi...will definitely try it soon..thank u so much Sir

You're attracting people on the streets of Bangalore as well as Bombay too, since you had studied there. You're a genius in South Indian Street food Adventure...
Good afternoon dear Kripal - Sorry for my delayed comment as I was busy savouring a thorough fare South Indian meals with my Dad - My usual Sunday lunch fare with Dad 👍 Still can’t believe you were in Mumbai on an impromptu tour and rue the fact that I couldn’t meet you . Anyways there’s always a next time 👍 Back to your Vlog - I am sure you have fond nostalgic memories and you have an elephant memory for sure 👍 The owner of Anand VP is from Thirunalveli and usually I converse with him in Tamil . You will find him near the Soda Pub area . This is an iconic place for VP and Grill Sandwich 🥪 Nothing to displace a VP of Mumbai though the Numero Uno Vada Pav is Ashok Vada Pav near Kirti College . Your friend Tushar is speaking your lingo “ Medley of flavours” 😅 True that Mumbai is synonymous with Vada Pav ( no one could beat Mumbaikars of our Ladhi Pav ) , Grill Sandwich and Pav Bhaji 😋😋 The genie Dosa is similar to Cheese Mysore Masala Dosa with a dash of Schezwan chutney and spring onions and Anand‘a GD is simply fab 👍 There’s also a Chaat centre ( Sharma’s) , diagonally opposite BIG B’s Bungalow and his Chaats are drool-worthy 👍 No wonder you find fans all over India 🇮🇳 That’s a decadent yet delectable monstrosity of a Grill Veg Cheese Sandwich - true explosion of flavours 😋😋 Tushar Desai and Darshika were truly good with their explanation of the flavour profile ( Tushar for the flavour and Darshika for dissection of the ingredients ) 👍👍 The Green chutney has to be a tad spicy else you won’t have that wholesome flavour which would otherwise be subdued by the potato and cheese 🧀 The candid truth of the Vada Pav lies in the Potato masala batter , ladhi Pav , green chutney and the tamarind- date chutney with the quintessential Ghati masala ( garlic based ) ! Oh cool so the owner of the next VP stall explained about the genie Dosa which I already commented. We always get our Malai Paneer , Curd and Lassis from Punjab Sindh 👍👍 You will love all their flavour Lassi - It will definitely give the Amritsari Lassi a run for its Money - Glad Sree enjoyed the Lassi 👍Tushar certainly is qualified to be your script writer 😀😀 True that Kripal - PS’s Malai Paneer certainly resembles the finest Ricotta cheese 🧀 Thoroughly enjoyed this Mumbai Vlog 👍👍 Mumbai Aamchi Praan Bhau 🙏🙏🙏 Fabulous Vlog indeed ! Take care , stay safe and God bless 👍👍🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️❤️
Next time u can also try their Mayonnaise grilled sandwich which is my favourite. U can also try their best seller- Jini dosa. Other dosas to try are Paneer chilly Dosa, pizza dosa, pasta dosa. U are at a place where there are a lit of street food options nearby like Amar juice centre for masala pav, pav bhaji, tawa pulav and juices.Bajaj Road Khau gali for sandwich, Frankie, dosas, chaat and malai gola. Juhu Chowpatty is also an option to try out some street food like pav bhaji, Chinese, chaat, gola. If u wish to try out some non veg food then do visit Gajalee( available at various locations) for sea food. U may also continue the trend of South indian food by visiting Hotel Ramashray for onion rawa masala dosa, podi idli, sheera and Madras cafe for set dosa served with white butter and tuppa dosa, podi upma and filter coffee both at Matunga. Sardar at Tardeo for pav bhaji, Sukh sagar for idli chutney, pav bhaji and masala milk. Bademiyan for non veg at Colaba. Have a good stay at Mumbai 👍
