When i was in BTM layout during 2010-2016 this stall was utterly crowded. I started eating his vada pav from Rs 10 to Rs 30 thats how much he grew those days. I paid that price happily due to the taste. Saw this video and brought back all those memories. He is still the same person. Thanks Kripal for taking down the memory lane. Every weekend a visit here with my parents was mandatory.

The Way Mr Kripal describes the food at the end is no less than the writer describes bits of his novel. This channel is way different than other food channels in the sense that he is genuinely interested in food and that is clearly visible the way he enjoys it.

Kripal Sir I stayed in Pune for 28 years before moving to Bangalore and The best way to eat Vada Pav is pav and Vada only with one fried Chilli. Now the trend changed with all these chutney and sauce but now also I eat vada pav without side items.

I've been a regular at this place (modern vada pav) ever since it opened in 2009. I love the spicy vada pav that we get here. The owner is very friendly and makes sure to serve hot and fresh vada pav to every customer. He makes them fresh on order and that definitely elevates the taste. Would highly recommend you all to give this a try when you are in BTM layout.
@Gundu Gundu initially he was near reliance fresh.. after that he moved to this spot. But he has been serving vada pav in btm since 2009. I didn't mean the location, i meant the eatery itself is there from 2009.

Must try puneri vada pav. Authentic pune Vada pav, bajji pav and misal pav. Taste was amazing, served with full face of smile. When I took first bite, could able to recall the same taste which i had 10 years ago in pune.

Before lockdown I and my friends use to have vada pav regularly here after lockdown it was closed, happy to know its open now. Will definitely go here again. Kripal, sorry I am not on Twitter. Please visit Purusha in Deshpande Nagar in front of Lions School when your are in Hubli. Unlike others his vada is flat and chutney is totally different with sweetish flavor. He also prepares special girmit with fried churmuri roasted with chilli powder. Hence this girmit is crispy unlike normal girmit which is mushy. Simply novel and super.

Those who tasted Mumbai Vada in Mumbai during rainy season can not forget the taste. Secret of Vada pav is Vada should be hot and pav should get heat from hot Vada and eat it while it is hot. Once hot Vada put in pav. It heat goes into pav and temperature of Vada goes down to eat it immediately. If you eat Vada pav after 20-30 minutes it never taste as fresh hot
