The seating plan at a key Platinum Jubilee event may have been set up to stop Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appearing in photographs with Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Charles and other senior members of the Royal Family, according to the Daily Mail’s Diary Editor Richard Eden. Speaking on our royal talk show Palace Confidential, Eden speculates that other royals such as Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie may have been told to stay in their seats to avoid any unfortunate photographs appearing the in media afterwards.

That's for sure. Instead of being grateful and complimented to be allowed to spend as much money on Harry's and Meghan's wedding, Meghan should have been more appreciated instead of complaining throughout the wedding's preparations and afterwards.

The Queen Louis and Paddington bear were the highlights of a very great Jubilee 👍 👌 👏
I so enjoyed seeing the Queen with Paddington Bear in that skit. Seeing the Queen interact with Prince Louis was a highlight for me.
Prince Louis made it for me and he managed to make Prince Charles look relatable for the first time for me - when he ran along and sat on his knee 🥰
I loved that.The Queen looked so cheery.
I think one of the reasons Harry and wife did not overwhelm the jubilee was the press didn't put them front and centre. They didn't breathlessly mention Haz and wife every three minutes but kept the jubilee on topic.

Still managed a window shot which she is using on Archewell site. They came for money shot pic of Queen and Lilibucks and they were denied.!!! BBC was asked to report on the jubilee and not on any individual in attendance, let alone Prince Harry and Meghan.
You people always seem to have some "holier than thou" judgemental comment on everything, that has to do with this couple.
I wonder sometimes, if, people like you, actually realize, that, you are all nonentities and your comments, just as irrelevant, as you are, when it comes to this couple.

The seating plan was orchestrated in advance… there was a determination to eliminate the commercially viable photograph of Harry and Meghan, and that validates the rumor that Harry and Meghan were expected to take the bus. That they were, in fact strategically or fortunately late and therefore got the private car, and the negative attention both entering and leaving the church. Meghan and Harry’s not gracefully following the plan only called attention to their lesser place and increased their embarrassment.
Absolutely agree. Had they travelled on the bus with all the other royals disembarking at the same time the boos might not have been so obvious.
They deliberately sought attention with their plotting and scheming - and they sure got it!

Seats are assigned well in advance for the service. Also seat assignments are approved by the queen. The Harkles were seated appropriately since they are not ranked with working royal family members. They could have been seated even farther back than the 2nd row.
1. Front row the Queen's children, second row grandchildren, niece and nephew.
2. Front row working royals, second row non working royals. Whichever way you look at it, they were in the correct row.
3. They had assigned seats, they turned up late at Prince Charles home, missed the coach everyone else was on. They weren't given an isle seat to avoid them falling in behind William and Catherine and getting that Netflix shot, the Queen made it clear there was to be no Netflix photos for commercial purposes, that was her terms!
Amen!! They should be happy they were invited at all.

Why would Sussex couple or anyone else expect for those two to be included in the procession any closer than they were? They left RF by their own wishes, not to mention the trashing of the RF afterwards, so naturally they have no place amongst senior royals. Plus, this was the event all about the Queen and there is no point in Sussex couple to be given any more of attention than they received by being given their invitations as relatives. They should be lucky that they even got invited.
People who watched Harry and Megan's entourage get off the plane, when they landed in England, said that they saw NO children get off their private plane.

Harry and mm were supposed to ride on the bus and were late and missed it. So another car brought them. It would be just like them to do that on purpose. Then the cousins wouldn’t move down the row. Great planning by the RF, I think!
I think the Sussexs thought, if they were late, that his cousins would just "scootch" along and let them claim the aisle seats!
I also think that particularly Beatrice and Edo were given strict instructions NOT to do so

From Australia, the Jubilee was wonderful to watch, loved the parades, the concert and the children…and of course HMTQ, the biggest superstar of them all. Paddington was sweet, and the horrible Harkles pushed to the background
The Queen was said to have picked out that particular car for them. if so I love it and I love the blacked out windows. She may have mobility issues but her brain is still working fine.
The irony of blowing H’s case against HM Government regarding VIP security by deliberately opening the windows for a photo op probably escaped her but H’s face was a picture as it dawned on him what she was doing.

It's too bad that so many choose to focus on the controversies and speculation of what if. . . when. . . The Queen's Platinum Jubilee was a time for not just the UK & the Commonwealth, but the world to celebrate a life extremely well lived. She has remained true to the commitment she made in 1947, never putting herself or family before her duty to Crown & Country. It was meant to be about the Queen, minus the distractions of poor choices and bad behavior of family members that the media has chosen to highlight. No actual void has been left, save that due to the passing of Prince Philip. Over the past year members of the RF, titled or not, have stepped up to ensure that his work continues; as well as the work that others have stepped away from or have had to be removed from. Those who either remain or have joined surround the Queen with their unconditional love and support.
As the events of each day played out, the commitment of the multitude of planners, staff, personnel and crews, shown brilliantly. And as for her part, anyone who has paid attention throughout her reign, knows that the Queen doesn’t make decisions lightly or as a result of her personal feelings.

The saddest thing is the distance between the brothers. I am sure had Diana been alive she would have knocked their heads together and told them to get along. My father and his sister had a fall out and didn't speak for a few years. What a loss for him, my aunt, and my sister and me. We lost the only family we had in the states to that. It took her diagnosis of terminal cancer for them to make up. She died only weeks later. I still grieve for that loss.
My son hasn't spoken to me and his brothers since 1981 when he married into money, we didn't even know he was getting married until I went to visit my parents and from that day to this we don't know why. He has two children who are now in their 30's and I've never seen them.
So sad.

The children of all other members of the royal family being involved was a slap in the face and clear message to Harry and wife (narcissist) that this was a FAMILY affair. It was a message to them after removing themselves as senior members of the RF also had a knock on effect for the Sussex children. Harry’s wife was and is always thinking about herself, Harry is going along with it because he’s a loyal empath who doesn’t know what he’s married to. So Harry’s wife’s blind ambition has in effect excluded the entire house of Sussex. So a very clever albeit subtle move by the palace by including the children, and riding in the carriages etc. This would have most certainly have wounded Harry’s wife.

The Jubilee was all about HMTQ. Harry and his wife WERE invited. They were assigned seating, etc. I look at it this way. They were not given Backstage Passes, just some General Admission Tickets given to other non-working royals!

He is now worried about his security in the UK and besides, he had a Ukrainian paramedic involved in filming the war in Ukraine. He met this lady at his Invictus games and asked her to film the war for Netflix sake by wearing a body cam. She was captured by the Russians and now, Harry is in hot water because of endangering the life of the paramedic for his personal gain. If the lady didn't get caught, he could have easily proclaimed that he was in Ukraine personally and filmed the

The extra medal is a Senior Royal medal given when a Royal is serving the monarchy. QEII didn't take it back but he keeps on displaying it knowing that he is no longer a Senior Royal. He was demoted to be on the 2nd row seat far away from the working royals.

I’d like to point out in fairness to William that he cannot be unaware of the viscous attacks on Catherine directly resulting from Meghan’s completely deceptive retelling of the flower girl fitting and who made who cry. That single act on Oprah has seen Catherine branded everything from a cruel mean girl to a viscous racist. Tell me, if someone did that to your husband/wife how would you feel?

Not unusual, the children were not on manifest of plane ergo, no children came. This has been verified by many people at Farnborough airfield. The children were with their real parents.
And I believe harry and Megan were ordered to leave the country because of the wires they wore the two window incidents, the one with the tindall children she has shown in America and the open window of the car.
Of course no children arrived - even MM can't conjour up live children and she forgot to pack the dolls.

I think that they got some comeuppance for the lies they told. The cold shoulder that they received from the RF at the remembrance service at St Paul’s Cathedral etc., the booing from the public. All of this was plain to see and hear. No commentary needed for any audience to see how much they are hated. Think that all of this went some way to make amends for the “Hateful Harpy” interview they gave. Let’s hope that we don’t see them for any future royal events i.e. OGMTQ funeral and King Charles coronation. Let’s hope we never see them on these shores again. USA you’re welcome to them!

If they’d been on the bus with others (too common for The Sharkles) then they probably wouldn’t have heard or seen the booing. Because they were in a car then when they got out and were booed everyone knew it was directed towards, and was for, them. So they thought that by winding the windows down and grimacing out and photos would be taken, worse was in store when they arrived at St. Paul’s Cathedral. So they didn’t play their cards right in fact it was a tremendous faux pas on their part. SO ARE THE SHARKLES STOOPID OR WHAT!!!

No! it was more to keep themselves fr being recorded or filmed fir Netflix..obviously that's why QE2 didn't show up at the Cathedral as she didn't want her entrance or face appear on Netflix..sending a strong message to H/M for the fact that they were discovered wearing a hidden microphone on them both, hence HMs security was seated behind them both to monitor their movements.
Maybe those sat behind could well have been wearing some noise cancelling device(s) so that The Sharkles recording gear didn’t record anything or at least very little. Don’t know if that’s at all possible………

Didn’t anyone else notice that all families sat together at St Paul’s EXCEPT Harry and David Armstrong Jones? Harry sat by Sarah Chatto (David’s sister) and David sat behind Prince Charles and Prince William. I believe those two were made to switch seats.

I don't understand why the media is still going on about this. From what I have seen and read most of the British public were fine with Andrew being at the memorial and walking the Queen to her seat. It was, after all, his father's memorial, too. And if the Queen, decided for him to come with her through the side entrance, allegedly for him to avoid the media and public, what a clever move from HMTQ.
I wonder why the outcome of the Depp/Heard trial didn't make a difference? Depp won a very long trial after so many assumed his ex-wife was right about him being a wife beater. The case judged against him in a British court, at least, made a lot of the public condemn him. The full trial in the US certainly was more telling with all those witnesses, tapes and testimony from both of presented.
Andrew had only that one suit brought against him that had not made it to court. It was more from his really bad choice of doing that interview that hurt him. But settling that case out of court should not have gone so badly against him even though everybody is certainly entitled to form their own opinion.
Regardless, the ceremony was his own Father's memorial service. And if his Mother wanted to let Andrew walk her down that aisle, then I think it should be HER wishes that count about it.
Besides, he has not been convicted of a thing, and I personally think we will be finding out more about his accuser in the future which may or may not make a difference.
The only thing that separated her story from the rest of all those others was SHE had a picture with him. (But NOW, that picture cannot be found so the FBI lab experts could not examine it. She settled very quickly. )
Anyway, after 70 years of serving on that throne so well and unselfishly and losing her beloved husband (who could not have such a service at the time because of covid,) the Queen should be allowed to choose who helps her walk down an aisle when she was being unsure of her steps. Andrew was certainly physically the best choice and he was there without a partner, but I rather think maybe he is a very attentive son - and she chose his hand for him to do that as naturally as a mother - not a Queen might do.
I mentioned it many times during the JUBILEE…….HE HAS BEEN HANDED BACK TO HIS REAL PARENTS…….
