- Опубліковано 12 бер 2020
- When the CIA decorates, they don't just do the typical Martha Stewart home and garden look, they decorate their headquarters with unsolvable puzzles. Today we're looking at Kryptos, the unsolvable sculpture that has baffled some of the greatest minds. Many genius decoders have spent months trying to decipher just a line from this impossible puzzle. See if you have what it takes to solve it, maybe the CIA will offer you a job if you can crack this code!

Plot twist:
Guy who made this just wrote random letters
Ivan B he just put his but on a keyboard and the. Made it into a puzzle
lol
I was thinking the same thing. If that was real than I wonder what would the builder thinks when they saw people trying to sovle his random thoughts
Ivan B no, found to be reading it upside down all this time, freak accident 😳🤯
LOL That’s what I was thinking :)
The Secret is that it was created by a cat walking over a keyboard.
How did you know curse you Peter the panda

I actually saw it in person. It's just sitting in the main courtyard. I doesnt seem like anything but a memorial unless you know what it is. Heck, I didnt even know what is was until my sister told me.
only cia employee can saw it or guest lunch in cafetaria
I dont care if you believe me. Just sharing my opinion.
I only read half of what you wrote but it was your Bernice Mountain dog icon that made me like this comment 🐶
Being a detective can be a challenge. That’s until The Infographics Show gives us a lesson for secret codes

I have a theory, but since I can't find the specific puzzle that is unsolved, I cannot test this.
"Clock." A clock has numbers. This puzzle has letters. The Berlin Clock has colours that represent numbers, so why can't it be the same for this, but with letters?
I think that the solution is between the first twelve letters of the alphabet, and the second twelve. If you correlate the first twelve letters with the columns, and the second twelve with the rows, you may get it.
You can correlate the letters with specific times. All twenty-four mean times, but it's A.M. or P.M. depending on which twelve it is. You look at the light/shadow at the specific time, and they may blend together to create a different letter.
Edit: there are 26 letters in the alphabet. I was half asleep whilst writing this. Sorry!
REEE or it could be a simple key word message and clock is the key word
MY BRAIN HURTS
@@gdpersonidk4508 mine too lol
There's 26 letters in the alphabet.
@@ryanmission i was half asleep at the time of writing this. Sorry!
Well it surely isn't impossible for the one who created the code.
Your right but he is probably dead and never told anyone
It is hundreds of times easier to create a secret code than to solve it. Anyone could create a transposition cypher in seconds after they learned how they work in a little detail

i believe the answer is "there is no answer, it's a test in time management" O.K. Gotta get off the grid guys 👌🏻🕊
When he says 'clock' He's referring to the time of day when the shadows are on the ground. You can decipher what the message means when the right time of day on a specific day hits the sculpture. That's why no computer can decipher it.
prob 2:23 that seems to be their favorite number
I have a theory, the first code references something “invisible” right, the second one contains coordinates somewhere in the building, the third is a quote from an archeologist discovering a tomb which is underground right? A hint was given, CLOCK. My theory is that the final clue pertains to something in the building beneath the ground level floors that is hidden in plain sight but is also either near a clock or dependent on time, if this place exists and is found, one might be able to shortcut to the final message. It’s just a theory and I don’t know that this is true, just a hunch.
The artist has publically stated I think on multiple occasions that to solve the puzzle you dont have to go there.

Low key your channel is actually super entertaining lol
This artist has to be the same unknown artist commissioned to make the Georgia Guide Stones. If you delve more into it. He says after college when he got done traveling around the world investigating sculptures and came back to America. He was commissioned to do a work of art that he used the proceeds from to build his art studio.
Whoever is reading this you are going to win and be successful. Dont let people bring you down. You have what it takes to be a winner.

I wish I could solve it. I'm from New Zealand and have heard about this. The guy who done it is still alive. He was commissioned to do a art peace of sorts, and this was his creation. There was 3 codes 2 solved. So cool. If I had the answer I'll change mi family's lives

I was gonna make a comment about the sculptor just smashing his keyboard but everyone else beat me to it. I am impressed.
Twenty years later and the 4th puzzle turns out to be one time pad encrypted… what a troll that would be.
Wait, that's classified
Mossad: NYAAAAW IT'S SO CUUUTE :3
It likely uses a legitimate Clock, as the cypher, however what the rest of the steps could be, would be interesting to know, if that was the case.
Its worth noting that this description is missing several significant details to the sculpture and ciphers- that are all vital to finding the keywords to break K4; and also that Enigma ciphers have been eliminated as a possibility.
And there are people who have made progress--- the keywords have been found-
Imagine him beeing a troll:
make 3 puzzles and make the 4th completely unsolvebal so everyone goes nuts about it
CIA: makes an impossible code that anyone cant solve
Wikipedia: I am speed
"In time all things are revealed"
Yo! Nice vid also I don’t know how I could solve the puzzle
What if the 4th message says: "If you talk, you die" and everyone who has solved it says he cant because they don't want to risk their lives
4:22: it means that you know how to smash your head against the keyboard and you know gibberish.
Kinda wish y'all would have shown the sequence. Now I gotta go look it up.
Perhaps you should be investigating the reference to the quote "Time Bursts All Walls Asunder" in regards to the birth of the Berlin Peace Clock, immediately after the collapse of the Berlin Wall on 9 Nov 1989. Headlines read "When the Monster Was Defeated" - RS.
The 4th puzzle when solved turns out to be the sheet music to the X-Files theme tune!👽👾👽👾👽
No prob. I'll get right on it with my little Orphan Annie decoder ring.
imagine if that last part is impossible and they spent 30 years for nothing
This just hit me but your next challenge episode should be "BLIND FOR A WEEK". It's my worst fear 😱 to lose my sight. I love IGS it's my favorite channel. 😍 🤗🤓
When the guy describes how he felt when he solved the puzzle it sounded like he was talking about the paths from Attack On Titan. 3:45
I dont think the last code is the last of it. i think that the entire thing is a riddle that once its parts are solved still has one more tier of the overall riddle itself
Question the sculpture's shape and how it it organized
That might be some cypher for the 4th
Ultimate Pro Yes, my first guess was to try what would happen if you would print all the stuff on a paper and fold it, because the S-shape already implies some kind of folding.
So ya know how it looks like some wave
And 4 cyphers
the e has to deal with something

It is a multicellular organism which can live without oxygen
Now we need one or a few Cicada videos.
The last puzzle is a picture, each letter represents a pixel, convert the letters to pixels and simple solve the puzzle.
It says "Clock works of time, running out, what is there left to believe in faith"
clock could also be a reference to either the doomsday clock or an atomic clock
Maybe the doomsday clock...
If you use one method it can create a new set of letters or numbers to be used from the other method to give you your answers.
CIA intern : Excuse me senpai, what is the wifi password?

The solution and explanaton to all this can all be found in the "Library of Babel", for real.

The clue clock, could it refer to a sundial, and at specific times it reveals the correct letters to spell out the message?
Clock? Every 12/3/6/9 letter is replaced 25°either vertical or horizontal depending on if its 12 and 6 or 3 and 9.
You nailed the pronunciation of Tutankhamon. Coming from an Egyptian 😊👏
What if clock means something different like count the letters like a clock. In other words the Caesar cipher
Voynich > Kryptos.
And I will laugh if puzzle for uses the Polish clock method to write out colours that correspond to the Berlin Clock...and it's just some sort of super fancy dating mark. XD
CIA: No one can solve it
Russian Hackers: Hold my beer
It might say:
Never gonna give you up,
Never gonna let you down.
Never gonna all around and, Desert you,
never gonna make you cry, Never gonna Say Goodbye.
Never gonna tell a lie, and hurt you!
This is like an ACSL test
The solution is probably found in the shadow created of the monument at a specific time of day, on a specific day of the year.

It's a rock bands idea. It's called Presence ( as in ghost presence).
Maybe it's from a Ghostbusters cartoon, the episode where they meet Shifter.
Or, it's dropped all my scrabble game letters, pivked each one up. Recording each as I did, and viola, a Currier Galary art piece that will keep people having conversations for years( just due of proximity). Jokes on the Joker( oh wait, that was an episode of Batman).
:)

Weird I just saw a video on this yesterday!?
Have they tried the shadow (shining on the random rock in front of it) could be something
The voyage manuscript looks more fun.
I already did but I'm not a snitch to tell.
Lol🤣🤣🤣
I feel that the unsolved portion must include the the question mark (?) and be 98 not 97 characters long. This way the code can be put into either a 7 by 14 grid or a 14 by 7 grid.
I also feel that the world clock is not the right clock. The schloss charlottenburg clock in Berlin is a possible (not the double letters)
It also may have something to do with the Cartesian coordinate system (X,Y grid) since a previous code Absicissa (the x axis) and Palimpsest have to do with that graphing system. (ordinate the y axis might also be a password of sorts)
its the set theory clock.
meant to demonstrate that the cipher has to be broken into multiple pieces to be deciphered. Its 97, but it uses 2 keyword streams and 6 or 7 seperate alphabets to decrypt
Cant believe and infographics video has been up for 18 seconds, with no views no likes, but one comment sayong they were first.
Wait, what?...

The same person: why does it decrypt to dQw4w9WgXcQ? Is there another layer of encryption?
i dont even have patience to watch the whole video to find out what the hidden messages are
Ah, “You win”. Of course.
next challenge: staying in air for 36hours straight in a plane in mid air
Wonderful is the key word to the 4th puzzle
Imagine the 4th puzzle is just random letters
I think it has to do with the shape of the sculpture itself.
It's not a clock. Puzzle four refers to the seventh chevron for the Tutankhamun stargate.
Clock, aye? As in the 4th dimmention? A little 4D chess perhaps? Does it reveal the identity of X+ ?
Wait... with the clock clue, do they mean the countdown to midnight clock (the death clock)??
Me: I made a code
*Smashes head into keyboard*
I saw the word "wurtz" on the scuplture, I bet this was for Bill Wutrz.
Maybe the "clock" clue could mean like a sundial. The picture looked like it had access to sunlight. Maybe they're looking too closely to view the puzzle as a whole.
it has to do with the Concept of 3 and Concept of 4. something about the base of the CIA being of the Concept of 3 and of 4. which would mean its base is of Switzerland
