There is no game to me that makes sword fights feel as satisfying as KCD I to me. Not clunky at all, certainly tweakable though. Can't wait for the second one!
@@JohnathonHC I get your point, but I mean... clunky compared to what? Literally every other game with a medieval setting designs swordfights in a way that makes you take turns between going mad on pressing 2 different buttons, more or less strategically depending on the game. That being said, it's the most complex sword fighting system there is and without any worthy competitor that I know of, I think clunky is the wrong word.
@@MyArcady It would be unfair to compare it to other games. This is a very unique combat style. You’re either going to love it or hate it. It is way more in depth than every game I have played. I guess I should say combat is clunky when you’re taking on multiple enemies. Especially when you’re ambushed. It is very difficult to fight back. One on one is generally alright.
The herb picking animation was mentioned somewhere that they had to leave it in, otherwise the flowers would just disappear in front of you and it could ruin the immersion.
I’ve got over 1,700 hours on this game total. Replayed it so many times, I don’t think there’s anything I haven’t found. Amazing game; already have the sequel preordered and waiting to download on my PS5. Also going to buy a physical copy, one to support Warhorse but two so I have a physical copy that I own, not just a license to the digital content that can be revoked at any time.
I've been thinking about physical preservation a bit lately, I used to be a digital guy but I'm worried we'll lose access to these games in years time. What if in 50 years time I want to play it again, ya know?
I WISH,BUT GTA 6,which am not interested at all,Crimson desert,( hard pass),GoY. We will see, thankfully three's a lot of new plaers, hope it sells millions .
First person herb picking mod is one of my essentials for KCD1. I assume it will come out quickly for KCD2 or will be similar to make as for KCD1, since the engine is the same and the game seems very similar.
Nice video. I don't want to rant, but you could have done a little bit more research. Sometimes it's like you are not sure if something is actually confirmed. I made 30+ min video on most of the things we know and still haven't covered all of it. We have seen the second map, for example.
The games story can branch in different ways due to how you play and they want people to be able to go back to prior parts of the story and make different choices
Henry's come to see us!

That's fair. I'm very keen to try it in KCD2
As a kcd combat enjoyer not clunky at all is alittle cope just alittle haha
Really? To me it’s very clunky. Don’t get me wrong. It’s the most realistic I’ve believe I’ve seen. But it is very hard to learn.

Unlikely but tbh I don’t really care about that award show.
They did show us the size of the second map as well

Throwing rocks in stealth mode was mentioned a LONG time a go.
I will play this game till my eyes bleed and my fingers and thumbs want a divorce before my wife does. 🤣KCD2 will be massive hit
Did you not play the original game?

KCD2 looks great!
I wonder why for saving they don't just have constant auto saves like some games have.
There are autosaves that happen during sleep or during quests
@8Paul7 I mean like auto saves only, like far cry where you can't reload a save anyways.
You can save and Exit at anytime and the game will resume were you left off.
@@Ronuk1996 I know I'm saying if they don't want people save scumming just have only 1 save and only have it be auto saves.
