This is that video that I was looking for. There are a lot of videos out there showing the fenix 8 amoled display, but you can't really find something showing you how the display looks in always on display mode. I really don't like the seeing a black display on my watch. As previous user of Fenix 6 Pro, I really loved the fact that I could always see the time without needing to do some gesture.

I which they made a Fenix 8 MIP without solar so we could get rid of that dead space and have a bigger screen like the oled.
Nice comparison
got both of them...when i wear the solar i'm missing the amoled. When i wear the Amoled...i'm missing the solar. Ill get the instinct crossover
3 different watches, and none are the same time? Doesn’t Garmin have a system to sync the watch to the actual correct time?
which is better Amoled or Solar, and why?
plz your thoughts
I prefer MIP solar just because battery life is better and its always on and doesn't ever turn the screen off.
@ fair enough bro 👊
@@SmartwatchLabs but does the solar charges in moderate sunlights, or has to be in direct sunlight?
@@logicmr.8351 Solar doesnt "charge" the watch. it just delays the battery from draining too quickly.
Very cool video
I'm still traumatized with Fenix 7x Sapphire Solar : the visibility was terrible...
Is the fenix 7 comparison a 7 or 7 pro?
Its 7X. So its not pro
