Excellent video! I lived in the Makati-BGC area for about 16 years. Love that area. Much more modern than much of the rest of the Philippines. As for P. Burgos, it is certainly is not everyone's cup of tea (if you have been there you know what I mean) but if you can't have some fun there, you probably can't have fun anywhere. I would highly suggest visiting The Filling Station, one of the most amazing restaurants (visually) I have ever been to.
I've always wanted to visit Manila and this video gives me a great idea of all the amazing things to do there! Can't wait to explore the city and try out the local food. Thanks for sharing!
Keep in mind though, much of the video is referring to "Metro Manila" and not just Manila. "Metro Manila" is composed of 16 cities and 1 municipality. "Manila" is just one of those cities. So if you want to go to BGC for example, that is in Taguig (not Manila!). You might need to be clear about this with the airport taxi, otherwise, you might unintentionally end up on the opposite edge of the region.
Thank you for posting this video. I spent October 2023 in Davao City. I flew there to meet my lady friend. I had a wonderful time. I was at Manila's airport but never had a chance to see the city. Something caught my eye as I was watching your video. At 6:45 there is a camera shot of a building with a neon sign saying "Bourbon New Orleans ". Since I live in New Orleans, I was curious as to what this building is ? Is it a restaurant or hotel ? Do you know anything about this place ?
Thanks you so much for this remarkable video today’s from Manila,The Philippines in August of 2023 to shows “The Best Things To Do in Manila, The Philippines” 2023❤❤❤

Most of us eat it only when it is semi-formed so the meat is still very soft and chewable. The duckling is not recognizable yet, and it's cooked so it won't be moving when you bite it (aww... sorry to disappoint 😏). Also at that point, there are no hard bones yet with just a few hair (for young birds, it's actually called "down").
I've been to Manila a bit too crowded I was at the mall of Asia.. and Baclaran and the very old cathedral in Baclaran...well, friendly people but be careful
try also to visit the Paco.Park n Cemetery, now a recreational garden n once Manila's municipal cemetery. Built by the Dominicans during the Spanish colonial period. Originally designed to be the final resting place for the Spanish colonial elite. The inner walls of the circular garden still houses the marble crypt markers that bear their family names....inside the park is a small church of St. Pancracius n now has become a popular wedding venue....
Grand Hyatt, Hilton at Resorts World. Manila isn’t like Bangkok with amazing pools. Did you check our hotel channel @islandhoppertvhotels under our Manila Playlist?
There is a difference between "Manila" and "Metro Manila". "Metro Manila" is the correct location for this video. The exception is Taal in Batangas which is in a totally different region. "Metro Manila" is the old but still popular name of the National Capital Region (NCR). It is composed of 16 cities and 1 municipality. "Manila" is just one of those 16 cities. The other locations featured here are in different cities (e.g. BGC is in Taguig, Poblacion is in Makati, etc,). 10:31 I'm pretty sure most of us do not eat "balut" at the stage when it's about ready to hatch because at that point, it's already inconvenient to eat due to hard bones, beak and hair/feather. Most of us prefer to have it only semi formed so everything is still soft and chewable. You can request the vendor for that type. Best eaten with some salt. 10:41 "The baby duck...", "But what is it, quail?", "Quail, yah." 😂 Pls stop calling everything here as "Manila". We do not want foreigners to have misunderstanding with airport taxi telling the driver "Manila" thinking BGC will just be at the next corner or something -- it's not. And they will pay a small fortune as taxi fare because Manila and Taguig are at the opposite ends of the region. Liked!
You don't need to be preachy about things foreigners don't know. You wouldn't want that same condescending attitude if ever you visit another country. Also, Manila and Taguig are not on "opposite ends": Valenzuela and Muntinlupa are.
@@mocabe01 Cute. Seems like we have an internet "tough guy" Ben Shapiro wannabe here. Guess what, kid. Niceness and respects goes a long way in the real world, outside of your alt right bubble here. Also, how about your "facts" that Manila and Taguig are on "opposite ends"? Wanna address your BS?

KFC is also popular. Jollibee is hyped by the locals because they think it is Filipino food. Philippines have low level and quality of education so a lot of locals are kinda really dvmb

The bone is like chicken wing bones but smaller. It's noticeably softer, but is still hard and maybe cannot eat it anymore otherwise you might crack your teeth. I love coming back here almost every year. There's so much development going on and BGC is absolutely stunning.
Nothing compared to what is planned for SM Yolo and Nuvali. Otherwise known as Makati to the south.
Love to visit Manila again.
