I love what you did with the doubled sided tape. The glitter colors are gorgeous. The only thing I would have done differently is to cut that excess tape with a small pair of scissors that are sticky resistant. You scared me watching you cut with that knife so close to a vein. Other than that I was impressed with the technique....thank you! 🤓

Love the effect using the tape technique but it seems that there are still several things that have to done to get the cup completed. I'm sure others know what the next steps should be but I'm a newbie so I'm not sure. Do you spray clear coat over the glitter to seal it in place and then cover with epoxy?

WAIT! How does the glitter stay on? Wont the tape start to peel at the top and bottom? How do you clean the cup? The cup is very beautiful and it should stay beautiful always. Thanks for answering my questions.
Bailey Dillion the glitter sticks to the tape it is very sticky. No the tape won’t peel. She seals the glitter with Mod Podge Acrylic Spray Paint, then after that dries she puts epoxy over it. So it will stay beautiful always.

After the glitter do you put epoxy or spray on it do glitter stays in tact.

@@tiffanyrobinson5016 midge podge has a dishwasher safe formula but I would suggest never putting a glittered tumbler in the dishwasher or allow it to soak in water. I resin coat mine which makes them washable.
So this may not sound right but do you seal in between each color of glitter? If not, does it mix?
She seals it with a acrylic spray and then she epoxies over it.
The question was does she seal it with spray between applying each glitter layer in order to keep the glitter from mixing into the other glitter color. Also what is the heat temperature that it can withstand and is it dishwasher safe?

Yes, once I am done glittering the tumbler I spray it with Mod Podge Acrylic Spray.

how do you stop the glitter from mixing when you epoxy?

you can't wash it !
I can tell you have never made a glitter tumbler or you would know that after this you would go on to cover this tumbler in an epoxy hard surface allowing you to drink from it and wash it till your heart desires. So I challenge you to actually attempt to make a glitter tumbler. You might have fun. You might like it. You might see that you’ve learned something instead of feeling the need to be critical.
@@PDBCreativeStudio I wasn't trying to be critical, you didn't say anything about putting epoxy on it. That is what I was speaking to. I apologize if it sounded that way. I am going to be making these, and I am watching a lot of different videos. I notice the question below me speaks to what I was referring too. I love all of these videos and learning new crafts.
