Patek Philippe Calatrava 18k Yellow Gold 1940

A vintage original Patek Philippe Calatrava in 18k yellow gold, crafted circa 1940. The 30.5mm round case with slightly extended and curved lugs, a very patina’d dial with gold applied faceted baton hour markers and dauphine hands, gold dotted outer minute track, and a subsidiary seconds register. Paired with a brown leather strap complementing the gold. This early version of the enduring classic model from the world war era makes a cool addition to a vintage collection.

The reference 96 is the perfect dress watch. One of my only problems with the 3796 is the fact that the crown is so much smaller than the 96 and the hands are smaller/thinner. Patek should rerelease the 96 in its original size and give it one upgrade - a screw down caseback.
