So 200 USD in the US and about 300 USD in Europe. No thanks.
Wow, that is way too much! For that price you can get 3 RK M75. They are almost the same but you don't have to use Asus broken Driver or Software!
Yeah it’s better to just buy the wooting at that price point.
Trash
@@GER-Thorgsjust get rooting for that price 😂
@@mart182003definitely wgree
"The best one yet"
Until the next ad video
"I went down and grabbed"
Waste of money to spend on a display there
You probably should look at more keyboards if you think this one is feature packed. Entry level gimmick.
200 bucks is a easy "I'll pass".
Just so you know is most good keyboards are getting pretty pricy now yes I do hate it too but at minimum you will find good keyboards at around 100 to 200 USD
200 I’m in
@@dray698 stop the cap, you can easily found a 20 bucks keyboard which works better than this overpriced crap
Bro you chose the “Brown switch” because they gave it to you for this video 😅😂
ROG would've given him whatever keyboard he asked for. Which is fine, glad he could review so I could buy one.
The offerings on Amazon from the likes of Epomaker etc will run you 80 bucks for a nearly identical model
Needed this info. Thanks!
I got a Epomaker th66 for $55 with the black Gateron pro switches and it sounds and feels so good
Asus and the other major brands are actually unusually slow to the draw when it comes to keyboard features and trends sadly. The Asian market is light-years ahead in terms of prebuilt boards
“The fastest keyboard we’ve tested”
Hi, friend! You reviewed the chatreey tank mini computer! I can't find this video! Where is it?
I just got the white version with the snow switches. It is amazing.
Any suggestions for a wrist rest for it? This keyboard is really tall
Can you change PgUp and PgDown to HOME and END ?
I don't even know who uses those over home/end combination, that's really bizarre.
You chose browns the moonlight, when the whole thing about the moonlight is the snow switches 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
For this price range, you get more features out of Wooting 60HE. Including rapid trigger switches that deactivates the key at the start of a depress instead of past the actuation point. And its factory lubed to sound great out of the box. I'd be curious to see you test it out and compare with your other keyboard experiences afterwards.
There is a sale on these currently and and wooting is approximately 120 CAD more:(
For the person who has Rolex watches....cool.
So more than a wooting and not a wooting?
This colour scheme is so retro, Nintendo snes + Amiga
Even keyboards have an oled display now while most gaming laptops don't
There's no worry about your red subpixels burning in on those screens, and even if those large pixels burned out they just aren't critical to using your pc. All my devices are OLED, but I can still see why some people might not feel comfortable doing that. I'm typing this on phone with burnt in signal and battery icons. 😅
most gaming laptops dont use oled because vrr is extremely hard to do on oled. if a laptop has vrr+oled its a miracle and that company spent tons of money trying to get oled working with vrr
@@natenate33 I basically forgot about that. Thankfully that's improving nowadays.
This is one of the most expensive box of keys from the big guys.
I have the black one and love it.
is this keyboard compatible with Linux?
It reminds me of my old Atari 130XE.
That's a stiff price for a memeboard
I can’t justify paying over £200 for just a keyboard when there are so many good mechanical keyboards out there that has similar functionalities and are far less cheaper
Why keyboard manufactures hate numpads so much??
They make one of these with a num pad
Skope ii 96
Can anyone recommend an actually good white mechanical keyboard full size?
Monsgeek m5
for around the same price id go with something from neo. id say they are best in class for sound and typing feel
Why tho?
I wouldn't pay 200 225 for the keyboard. So, I found the black version on sale about a month ago on Amazon for 154.57!! Free shipping! Super thick and choonkey. Overkill for sure but it'll last me forever.
Asus tax
Problem with rog keyboards is the software it comes with in order to manage its functions
For that price. They better give you alot .
just slapping oled to everything could easily spike the price of the products
OLED aka Mr. Burn-In
Shill Prime
No rapid trigger......I'm good
leobog hi75, 90 usd, feels like its worth 300, destroys this
no it wont. Azoth sounds way better with different switches and tape mod etc. also that other keyboard is wired only in 2024 is laughable. ASUS Wireless solution is lower latency then wired now days. Look it up azoth wireless beat or matched the wired speed.
@@JamesMKE thanks for comment. I have both and prefer the leobog. The sound wins easily. I wouldn't mod the Asus either. I like the coiled wired look so I guess while you feel it's laughable I enjoy it. Also wired on both rated 1000hz the Asus wireless is 1700hz, not that the 700hz is noticeable but the wired is still faster. Asus still a good keyboard especially if you have the budget I just like the epomaker and leobog creations these days more cheers.
@fractalarbitrage brother you sound confused click latency and polling rates are two different things. Both contribute to overall system latency. The azoth is better for gaming and sounds great out the box or with minor mods. This is not a debate lol its already been tested. So no the wired is not faster. Stop saying that lol.
Got it for 160usd a few months ago, nx snow and storm are great switches, avoid brown red or blue
this is an adv isnt it
Don’t lose the usb dongle or your screwed Asus does not offer replacement
But can it do EMULATION?
7K views in 9 hours. Fell off. No wonder why
Too expensive and the font is ugly AF.
Yeah weird it has a non-proportional wide font when the letters are all alone for the most part, then doesn't look well aligned for abbreviated titles on keys that aren't even big enough.
I have ROG Claymore 1 and Red Dragon K530. The difference in quality between 2 keyboards is there... but it is not huge and definitely not refected in price. ROG stuff is extremely overpriced tbh. I mean it is in the brand name right ? Ridiculously Overpriced Gaming... Btw. Claymore was my 1st mechanical keyboard. Previously I was using membrane ones and I know one thing: I am NEVER going back to Membrane keyboards. I would rather use cheapest Mechanical one lol.
Get yourself a Krush65 for way less instead
Typing this on my $20 walmart keyboard while wondering how people have enough disposable income to buy this stuff...
Some say graphics cards are expensive.
VERY EXPENSIVE. And sounds very tinny. Hard pass.
Hell nah
Why is it OLED? It’s so small that there’s no point in it being OLED over LCD.
Power draw. OLED draws way less power. Being wireless it needs to focus on battery life so less power draw is important.
@@RedSoul001 It's a tiny screen, doubt it is drawing all that much power
@@RedSoul001 Wow a whole 20%....
Cmon ETA, you can do better. This is a normie level scam of a keyboard.
Sir you are a legend! Thank you. Man of the people.
Utterly ridiculous price. Classic example of how adding some flashy lights will elevate the value, with too many gullible suckers purchasing.
Been using mine since they came out in Jan of 2023. I actually just put in Akko Lavender V3 pros in yesterday. This is a great keyboard for gaming as it has very low latency wireless compared to any other keyboard. HE switches are overrated and so is Wooting.
wow first
this sounds terrible, like one of those 50 dollars mechanical keyboards you buy from amazon
Third❤
Lmao...mediocre reviews....250-300£
I'd rather burn the 200 bill than to spend on this shit
It's an enthusiastic keyboard ... dont be surprised that it is 200$.
This channel has become cool gadgets too expensive for its viewers 😂
Unfortunately it gets like that when product channels get large enough. They get more and more items that on average are above the price considered affordable.
800$ mini PCs
200+$ keyboard
1000+ phones, tablets, and handhelds.
Not ALL the time, but a lot. And only a small portion of videos is dedicated to anything affordable.
First
This channel becomes more and more useless with these paid promotions.
I don't get the fascination of mechanical keyboards. All that clicking noise drives me crazy... needless to say, i didn't appreciate your sound test...let me know when you test a good keyboard with minimal to no sound.
OLED on a keyboard is just... why?
but this is ASUS ROg we are talking about... so overpriced sad story
Why not 🤔 I have one I love it but the asus software sucks
@@Shmack_welp it's mostly plastic with bad quality keycaps, so kinda mid as for 200 you can get an qk75n or similar keebs that have back weight made completely out of aluminum that are a lot more premium
I'm a fan of the channel but you really shouldn't be reviewing keyboards
Uhm, why would anyone buy this keyboard?
I have it from a while and I have to say is the gratest keyboard that I have ever owned, and I use mechanical since the 2019, even customs.
