You don’t want the metal probe inkbird, it will corrode and leech in saltwater. Will be rusty pretty soon
Probe can be replaced with plastic one for a few dollars😊
It’s probably painted plastic? Or even better stainless steel? I doubt something for a marine tank wont be
@@marcusreaich08 it actually is metal and it rusts because most use it in freshwater
I had the metal probe in my saltwater tank for two years and didn’t notice any rust
They make on specifically with a plastic probe for saltwater. There’s multiple examples online of the metal one rusting.
In the US most people have air conditioning. My heater runs 24/7 365. Even when it's 100°F+ outside. It's never hotter than 76°F inside the house.
Blue reef I know you probably wont see this comment but if you do can you help me with my tank please is really dirty if you have discord, whatsapp anything can you help me it's been dirty for month's

Ever tried placing your wavemakers at the back wall so have a cleaner look without cords at the sides? Probably easier to clean the glass on the sides as well.

Change that inkbird probe asap… it’s for freshwater. There’s a saltwater version of at least buy the plastic probe. I’ve seen terrible rusting on the metal / freshwater version demolishing entire tanks 😢
