Yay Blue Reef Tank Video time! 🔥🔥🥰🐶
Noodle…. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
That awesome!! Having a back up plan is always a good idea
Where did you get the feeding portal? eBay? Can you provide us with the link? Thanks
🤔
Noodle so happy see him dad! 😂🥰🐶
Bro really started stirring the tank acting like that did anything💀💀
The algorithm blessed me with your channel a few days ago and I subscribed (of course)
PLEASE, keep doing what you’re doing, don’t lose faith ever!! You’re channel is small now but the quality is just beautiful and I know if you keep at it you’ll grow beyond your own expectations
Much love ✌️
love ur edits and music background.. i miss the old days with the view from ur appartment ^^
Can't go back to that view anymore unfortunately 🥲
We need new corals/fish!,,
Coming soon!
🇷🇺👍👍👍
Hy, i have designed a lot of Products as well for the Waterbox and other Aquariums, i like the block holder, realy good idea,.. ecotech battery is a sad story.. the battery coasts only 45€ on Amazon and the Plug to make it work around 3$... Ecotech is making some big money with a product that coast nothing normaly :(
From what I’ve read, people often panic about this way more than is necessary. Unless your tank is very heavily stocked, a tank can normally last quite some time on the oxygen supply in the tank. Most fish/coral also can handle a temporary decrease in temp.
It's better to be safe than sorry 🙂
If I had to leave my tank overnight during a power outage, my small tank would be room temp by morning, which, with no heat, would be pretty cold this time of year..I don't think they'd survive in an ice block. My tank doesn't even like it when it drop to 75 C.
What’s room temp for you? For me it’s around 73. I recently saw someone who keeps their frag tank at 73 F, all the time.. Wild. Not ideal at all, but I think our corals can be more resilient than we think sometimes.
What’s a good battery backup to have ? I don’t have eco tech products or pumps or anything. Any suggestions for a universal battery backup to have on hand?
Hello what type of reef lights are you using?
Do you like Red Sea 90 led or Radion xr15 pro
I’m wanting to be able to grow sps and lps
Thanks
Thank you for your videos man 😉, for me your videos are so relaxing in this difficult moment of my life 🙏.
Thanks man. I hope you're okay and if there's anything I can help please let me know 🙂
bro you really scared me with the name of that video. I thought something very bad happened. Luckily it was just a scare LOL
Magnificent video!! So peaceful despite storm calamity! Yeah, they are getting fat.. Need to exercise..
Glad to see your tank survived the storm ! Reminds me of some nights i spend sturring my tank … i never regret my investment in a back-up 🐠
Well it's definitely peace of mind! Everytime the power goes out that's all I think about..
from where did you get the bio block holder?
I have two batteries hooked up to a single wave maker it gives me about 55 hours it’s a Jebao MLW 5 on 35% it’s not my mine wave maker it’s there for power outage you made a smart investment the very best of luck with future outages
Great video as always! Tank goals! I’m
In the process of buying a baby tang next or the following week! Super excited 🎉
South African reefers watching this : 😃🤝🕯
Noodle wearing the cone. Did he get neutered ?
Yep 🙂
@@BlueReefTank Our Golden doodle just got spayed 2 weeks ago at 6.5months. 1.5 weeks in the cone. How old is Noodle ?
Btw, is he a picky eater ? Our is all over the place. Give her what she liked yesterday and she takes a sniff and walks away.
@@macans5010 He is actually not that picky so I am quite lucky
Hi
In Adelaide my area we loose power for whole day 8am to midnight… some areas near me loose it for a couple days 😞 I glad I not had my tank setup yet with corals in it
Yeah, it's very unexpected and I am glad my tank survived the outage 😁
@@BlueReefTank I glad u tank survive too! 🥰👊🍻🐶 I hope u can make another video soon, u videos always so nice and relaxing to watch 🐶🥰
Perfect video again. Your tank is looking great!! Glad you got past the Cyano problem. Keep the vids comming please.
Everything looks awesome mate! Glad the outage was short
Your videos are always so relaxing even though you were going through a stressful period.
How do you manage algae your tank looks so clean! Also what do you dose? I have the same tank and same two kessil lights. What are your settings for them?
I have a sump full of macroalgae and a lot of the nuisance algae actually grow in my sump. You can check my Kessil settings in the community page 🙂
Had me worried there with those palms swaying like that. Living in Miami Florida I know storms and hurricanes all too well. Glad to see everything's well with your aquarium. 😊
Always love your videos! Thanks for sharing them and keep up the great work! Tank looks great!
Let me help you….. battery powered rc boat for a current maker hand to god saved my life
Bounces around the rim
I'm concerned about power outages...I have everything essential connected to a UPS, but last outage it worked for about two hours before the battery low beep started. It never ran out before power came back on, but we are getting like a foot of snow per day...I woke up this morning and the sky was almost black with cloud to the west...eerie. I imagine we are going to keep getting snow, and it's wet, heavy snow cause it's not that cold yet. I have to go out today and get the snow off the shed roof before it collapses. The trees look OK still, but if they got too heavy with snow, they will break and inevitably hit power lines. I wasn't ready for this much snow this early. I have to go get some more battery for my UPS before disaster strikes.
Good idea. The thing with ecotech battery is that it will automatically program the pump to run at a lower setting therefore prolonging the battery life. If the pump is connected to a UPS, it will still run at the "usual" speed which means it'll draw more power and reducing the battery life. I think the battery back uo from ecotech is a great investment. BRS did a video about it where they compare the battery with UPS. You should check it out
All your dragonet are in the same tank?
Yes they are 🙂
Love the tank and the videos!
Sponsored?
I wish 🥲
what is your temperature?
I keep the temp around 24-26C
Second
Do u use a chiller ?
Not yet :)
The ecotech battery backup is the biggest scam, it uses a $17 battery you can buy off Amazon. Glad to see your animals were okay!!
True, I just use a generator and can hook up my entire tank.
He needed that top of the line gear! Lol
Yeah, anything for this tank 😁
Really all you need is a battery operated air pump. If you are not home, I believe you can use the cobalt aquatics rescue pump, it operates on a regular power but has a batteries that can last up to 24 hours. Those batteries won't last that long. I use a battery but it is just a regular rechargeable battery with a 12 VDC output and with an adapter, I have it on the main mp40 wavemaker. It cost 1/2 of the ecotech ones and I can use it to go camping if needed.
Will it turn on by itself if you're not around?
first lol
🤘
Curious why you would feed brine shrimp instead of mysis?
For some reason most of my fish won't touch mysis
How you get enough food in the tank for the manderins? It’s a new tank? Or there was enough in the old rocks ? I got a waterbox cube20 and just wait for the 1 year mark and get myself a couple manderins, love them 😇
From what I’ve read, unless you’re constantly stocking that tank with pods, they’ll quickly eat through the amount in that tank size and starve, so please supplement their diet!
I have a lot of pods in the tank especially the sump. It came from my old tank 🙂
Hey mate do you mind letting me know the brand of the power strip you have and where you got it from? Cheers.
It's from Belkin :)
@@BlueReefTank Do you mind sending me a link? Cheers.
Battery backups and a generator are essential items for a reef keeper nowadays with all the reliable renewable energy Australia has bahahahahaha.
10:12 what kind of sea star is that?
