Same man, although I didn't have as much trouble on it as others(if that's a flex I'm sorry lol)it still was a super epic showdown,it got super immersed at all times
This boss fight has the coolest voice line in the game. After Owl realizes Wolf's strength he goes all out with the mist raven like ability. The voice acting behind it too ahh man what a masterpiece of Game
That's because non of his attacks are bullshit like other bosses from other soulsborne series. Like eibrietas from bloodborne. All of owl's attacks are super fun to parry and dodge. Its just a matter of gitting gud.
Yeah honestly like the first time he mikiri countered me i wasn't even mad i was just dumbfounded and so beyond interested... i then died another 50+times
You must be the best player I've ever seen on this game. This is beautiful to watch. The general idea is what I'm trying to do against that boss too, always keeping the pressure going....except I take a ton of damage in the process lol
When you memorize all of thei moves, even Isshin can become ez af. Though I like feeling like Roronoa Zoro or Dracule Mihawk in this game, walking like a badass during a fight, going parry only or all parry and dodge
both owl fights are posture battles. if you don't know how to block and parry effectively you're pretty much fucked since he has so much health and he can one-shot you pretty easily.
ladistar normal owl can be cheesed by getting a few hits in and running away for a long time I had to do that at first since I didn’t learn to parry good until SS isshin
It’s amazing how good you can get at this game if you keep playing. My first play through was an absolute nightmare. Owl Father must have taken me about 50 tries. Now I’m on NG+5 no kuro charm and am beating most bosses in one or two tries.
this was only a week after release too .. unreal man lol. and honestly watching these videos has helped me so much like the shuriken throw into slash to keep the pressure up, or how ridiculously op the umbrella can be haha
1:05 ~1:13 It's like an well made fight scene that each opponent fight almost a tie and the one them find the blind spot of the enemy's trick and take fully advantage that can takes opponent lifes.
I felt really proud of myself just for beating every boss in this game. Then I see this, and I guess I'm still proud of myself but... you know. This is truly incredible. I don't know if someone who watches this without having played the game could even understand.
That was anime as fuck! The way you would dash in after he would kick off of you or when you did the follow up attack after you threw a shuriken was so sick. Nicely done
Just made it past the first stage thanks to this video lol. Still working on the second phase but i've gotten close. Feel like im doing okay for 60 hours. You're insanely talented man. I found you after I started playing Elden Ring (first souls game) around when it released. Watching your Melania/ other boss videos. You're one of the reasons why I got Sekiro. Update: I used most of your strats here with a little personal touch and I was able to finally defeat him lol oh man first time killing him got the heart going. Took like 15 dang tries.
Funny how I returned to BloodBorne after 3 ng's of Sekiro and it felt like the slowest of all time... I don't even want to imagine what it would have been if I went directly from Sekiro to Dark Souls 1...
This is the single best video in all of UA-cam on this boss because it's a near pure deflect strategy and shows how to beat down this boss using pure technique
My same strategy against him i do this and never get hit once then before the final deathblow i go to main menu and restart the fight i love fighting him
The key is to keep up the pressure but in most cases he throws the firecrackers i was not able to dodgerun behind him because of wall/woodpost so i changed to jump back + shuriken + run after him. Wonder if this even works in ng7+
I've been stuck on this guy for like 1000 deaths. He's not even that hard. He's just so spongey. If I play it slow, I have so much time to get distracted and make mistakes. If I play it fast, I usually get caught by firecrackers or the fake sweep windup. Fun fight though. EDIT: Oh I get it now. You're using shuriken to prevent posture regen. Is that right?
Yeah it's a good idea to keep pressure up on him by using shurikens, but the best strategy is to go for vitality until the posture bar turns orange, then start focusing on posture. If you don't get his health down first his posture regenerates way too quick
The amount of hp damage punish opportunities make this fight tons of fun, though a bit easy (I beat him fourth try, sorry for the flex lol). Isshin is still that little bit better, but I think this fight is more fun.
Just beat him using parries, took me 2 hours. This was the first boss I beat by resurrecting, the reason being I suck at dodging and prefer parrying everything. Never used dodge much for any boss, but this fight has firecrackers that absolutely require a dodge and it got me many times. That, and the terrible camera.
This is still my absolute favorite boss fight in the whole game. No matter how tough it was I'd never gave up.
Same man, although I didn't have as much trouble on it as others(if that's a flex I'm sorry lol)it still was a super epic showdown,it got super immersed at all times
agree man, this is so damn cool, the best
I hated this but I thought it was unique and special. I love sword saint fight tho
@@pancakeguy699 agreed, sword saint is also a great fight as well
Yea me too he's was so tough i was about to give up but there was no way in hell I was letting him beat me
This boss fight has the coolest voice line in the game. After Owl realizes Wolf's strength he goes all out with the mist raven like ability. The voice acting behind it too ahh man what a masterpiece of Game
You know its a good boss fight when you keep dying, but somehow keeps you interested more than angry
That's because non of his attacks are bullshit like other bosses from other soulsborne series. Like eibrietas from bloodborne. All of owl's attacks are super fun to parry and dodge. Its just a matter of gitting gud.
Yeah unlike Demon of Hatred.
Yeah honestly like the first time he mikiri countered me i wasn't even mad i was just dumbfounded and so beyond interested... i then died another 50+times
He's a challenging boss in a hard but somewhat fair fight. The same cant't be said for some of those "Lone" shadow assholes
@@toefoo8183 a those 2 lone shadows that calls his dogs and has another guy with him
You must be the best player I've ever seen on this game. This is beautiful to watch.

You've seen nothing
@@ladistar his posture bar lessens too fast at the beginning so you have to take out some health anyway
ladistar normal owl can be cheesed by getting a few hits in and running away for a long time I had to do that at first since I didn’t learn to parry good until SS isshin
I like the fact that being aggressive against owl puts him in the corner and gets interrupted Everytime he is being swung against
It’s amazing how good you can get at this game if you keep playing. My first play through was an absolute nightmare. Owl Father must have taken me about 50 tries. Now I’m on NG+5 no kuro charm and am beating most bosses in one or two tries.
true, getting better at sekiro is so rewarding and satisfying. you really feel all the hours and hard work you put in
same with me like other souls game i was more into dodging and was getting clapped until i mastered parrying now i am having fun
Coming back after no damaging this boss myself to thank you.
This video was absolutely vital!
1:30 this looks so anime
This fight made me realize that the crap camera angle is not a bug, but a feature intended to mess with you.
No it's shit bro they couldn't fix it that's all
sinse when is it an issue? your just bad XD
@@dianitestar1234 my just bad? it was not an issue for me.
FromSoftwarre: "Huh? Oh yeah! That's a feature!"
@@karolmanzano539 Its not the worst camera Ive seen xD Guys, its decent not the best. Its true but clearly not the worst.

Insane! This was the boss that gave me more trouble
1:05 ~1:13
It's like an well made fight scene that each opponent fight almost a tie and the one them find the blind spot of the enemy's trick and take fully advantage that can takes opponent lifes.
People who have never played this game have no idea how impressive this is. Not dying is one thing not taking a hit is a whole different monster
Nice display of skills, your style is beautiful to watch ! This boss is the one that gave me the most trouble. Didn't kill him yet tho...
Beautiful work
This is so stylish and awesome! Great job, that was perfect!
I felt really proud of myself just for beating every boss in this game.
Then I see this, and I guess I'm still proud of myself but...
you know. This is truly incredible. I don't know if someone who watches this without having played the game could even understand.
you're literally a god of sekiro. You got some good ass mechanical skill there.
Thank so much! It NEVER occurred to me to use Chasing slice to keep the pressure on. This was thé winning change!
Perfect mikiri counter kill. 10/10 video *italian chef kiss*
mikiri counter is sooo fucking satisfying
These kinds of videos are more helpful to me than commented tutorials tbh. I just want to know what other people do when he does stuff
Gwyn's really hard in this ninja game this time.
this man is the master teacher. I was struggling with some moves, watched this video, and in 3 or 4 more tries I managed to beat him!!
This video was amazing. Watching skill like this really enhances the gameplay and makes me feel sorry for those who choose to cheese. Bravo 👏
That was anime as fuck! The way you would dash in after he would kick off of you or when you did the follow up attack after you threw a shuriken was so sick. Nicely done
Wow i didn't realize how useful chasing slice is in this fight nicly done
THIS is how you fight owl for anyone trying to beat him for the first time. You NEED to constantly pressure him relentlessly
Ahhhh, that relatable moment when your papa attacks you because you ate all of the sugar and you mikiri counter him.
And here I am being no hit by owl.
THAT ENDING THO GG
I feel like there’s a certain pattern of attack and deflect that you have to fall into
Killed him with a Mikiri Counter. Stylish!
This is without a doubt the hardest boss fight in the game, followed by the demon of hatred, Isshin can't compare.
The beautiest boss fight in the history of the games
Just made it past the first stage thanks to this video lol. Still working on the second phase but i've gotten close. Feel like im doing okay for 60 hours. You're insanely talented man.

Or ds2 yikes
It's slow asf I can parry almost anything 😂😂
Parrying in ds3 with the caestus never felt easier...
This is such a better fight than the one at ashina Castle. Like night and day difference
I adore both of them, the Ashina castle phase two transition gave me chills the first time lol
I'm gonna tell my grandkids that we had super intense & fascinating boss fights like this during our time.
The amount of skill it would take to do EVERY SINGLE PARRY perfectly in a fight this long...
Brutal. Even by Soulsborne standards.
My man, you are the single greatest Sekiro player.
Some day I'll get to your level. Watch out!
So nasty of him to throw the shurikens again in the 2nd phase just to fuck with your muscle memory
Owl: This guy is fucking relentless.
Finally, I see someone playing Sekiro with some actual talent.
First I thought it said no parry all damage and I was like hole up let's see this
One of the great masters 🐺
This is the single best video in all of UA-cam on this boss because it's a near pure deflect strategy and shows how to beat down this boss using pure technique
Do you carry the team back from 25-0 in call of duty in your spare time at all?
Man, love your videos! How do you like Sekiro compared to Bloodborne/Souls?
For action, sekiro is better. But i love all :)
the best. amazing to watch. 👍
I think Ongbal is the last boss and we're just waiting for his DLC.
This is how you truely play sekiro
How do you play like this ? It's amazing, i never been so good on a video game
Awsm!, I have already beat him but was wondering if, I was the only one taking too long in the second phase offcourse, with just parrying.
This is how Sekiro fight when anyone else controlle him 🤣
best Owl boss fight I've ever seen
Favorite From Software boss fight, hands down.
it's amazing gameplay
New to sekiro and just beat this guy up at the tower. Is ng+7 just super fast or is the video sped up? I'm confused.
There's nothing faster about this than regular NG bro man
Hesgoin down tonight
What combat art do you use to reach him that far with a slash?
Chasing Slice I think.
Excellent video. I am trying to master this guy right now
Deflect is the King.
"no damage"

Sooo
Owl is a stand user?
May I just point out that it said parry only when you dodged the mist raven attack
Nitpicking really
I can do great shinobi first try limited damage no problem. I feel like that crazy fire attack is gonna fuck me big time with this version.
The amount of hp damage punish opportunities make this fight tons of fun, though a bit easy (I beat him fourth try, sorry for the flex lol). Isshin is still that little bit better, but I think this fight is more fun.
This boss is tough. Still working on him.
damn wish I could get that good in parrying.
How!? how is this possible?
Skills we lack ha.
you git gud
맥스 ng는 몇회차 말하는건가요?
In this fight it's more like sekiro is the boss and father owl is shitting his pants 🙂
와 정말 이상적으로 플레이 하시는거 같네요 저도 이런식에 플레이 스타일을 해봐야겠네요ㅎㅎ
Really Awesome play
who is the boss here again?
you should try it charmless
what happened to no kuro charm
hmm the video was uploaded on Mar 29 2019 and the game was released on Mar 22 2019.. so probably not so much info back then...
With kuro charm ?
warning : Do not use shadow rush otherwise he's gonna violate you just saying
I might be able to do this
19 people are still stuck on Chained Ogre.

Very impressive
u attacked my dude this does not count no basic atk and it counts
Amazing.
un fucking believable
Nice
شكرا جزيلا
Uncanny.
Nice play
I hate you for making this look so easy.
Holy shit
nice one
Haha I see that Owl attacks you right away so this is not the first try 😁 still you are so skilled 👍
Obviously With a Boss this hard you Should expect Multiple Tries, no need to point out that crap.
ok...
