The C7 OLED has an AMAZING picture. Bought one 2nd hand with a refurbished brand new screen for 900 last year. Supper happy with it. I love watching 4K movies, watching 4K content on You tube and playing pc games in 4k at 60fps. My brother has the C9 and my parents just bought the new C1 and the picture quality is the same. So if you dont need the extra gaming features that the C9 model introduced then the C7 is all you should ever need. AMAZING TV !!!
Excellent comments and review, I bought the LGOLED65C7 in Nov 2017, the picture quality is phenomenal, especially when playing a 4K disc through a Panasonic UHD player. I suffered horrible screen burn and image retention and only last week (Dec 2023) Curry's (Retailer) replaced the OLED panel free of charge under warranty. The new OLED panel looks amazing and I have the Picture Mode set of TechniColour Expert (Dark Mode) - Which offers a brilliant natural looking images, but essentially tames the OLED brightness right down to 60. You have to protect the panel and look after it, no 100 OLED brightness, regular pixel refresher and set the timer for 60 mins so the TV will never remain on for any longer than 60 minutes unattended - Even today 6 years +, not many OLED TV stand anywhere near this - Back then there was nothing like this on the market and real benchmark and statement from LG. One more thing all 4 HDMI are HDCP 2.2. Next TV new Samsung 8K 900C series. Happy viewing.. 👍👍👍
I just got the same 65 C7 a couple of month ago for $700. Amazing tv. Now only need to get time to calibrate it do get it even better and tommorow going to install a Ambi light system on it. :)
I'm using a 55" B7 with around 16,000 hours. Panel was replaced by LG at around 4,000 hours due to burn in. There's been no issues with burn in since then, but I do have noticeable banding on mainly red backgrounds. It's a bit annoying, but you rarely notice it unless you look for it or there is lots of bright red being displayed. I will probably upgrade in the next year or so though. There no going back from OLED for me. It's a game changer, even with the risks of burn in.
Just got a 55" C7 someone dropped off at my job. Plugged it in it powered up. Took it home and set it up in the bedroom. So far no issues after updating.
Excellent! Got my 65C7 in Nov 2017, got a brand new replacement screen and new power supply fitted a few days ago 6 years on and 1 year out of warranty - My retailer did it all free of charge!!! And yes the new panel looks amazing. You have really look after these screens my picture setting now is Techni Colour Expert (Dark) turns OLED light down to 60, weekly pixel refesh and 60 min off timer so TV is never left on unattended for more than an hour. Hooked to a 4K UHD Panasonic DVD Player with a Samsung Dolby Atmos Soundbar offers a fabulous experience. Enjoy 👍😁

@Craig Munyaka no it's stuck with the older OS. Be careful buying one second hand. Be sure to check how many hours it's been used it will be in the settings menu under about tv. Average about 700 to 800 hours per year.
