I have don purple, yellow and white onions. The white onions has a sweetness to them freeze-dried.

These weren’t horrible, just extremely strong. I’m sure sweet onions would make them palatable.
What if you bake or fry before FD? You can powder all the onion or chop and have them in your pantry. Thank you for the video.
