I cant wait to take all your courses! After 23 years of military housing, we are buying a toy hauler rv and moving into that for my hubby's last 7 years. As soon as I get settled and get a crafting place set up in our rv, I am going to begin my junk journal journey!! 💗
I find it great that you made something available for people to possibly further their sales. Sadly I have found that in the UA-cam world or any outlet, even in the real world...when it comes to recognition of what we have to offer, it's often not what we know but who we know.
Thanks Lyn. While that often may be the case especially in the internet, I have found the journaling community on a whole usually tends to bring out the best in people making it easier to network and form acquaintances and friendships. :-)
What a wonderful class to offer - a share the wealth opportunity. I see the prices of journals going up rapidly just in the very short time I began having an interest. Plus the workmanship varies greatly from artist to artist so perhaps this will provide a guideline for some consistency in content yet allow creativity to flourish and provide income to those who seek that level with their creations. You are such a perfect person to put this together for us to share and enjoy.
Thank you so much Cheryl. I really appreciate all your kind words. The learning curve and my rather ambitious approach has been quite an experience over the past two years. I am glad to find a way to pool some of that information and share it with others. :-)
This is one course I am going to purchase. I have been selling my journals to hospital gift shops but the sales are slow and I am wanting to break into the Etsy arena. I will have time to do this next month. Thank you so very much.
Oh my goodness!! I will be taking this course! I'm just starting and this is just what I need to help get me going! Thank you so much for sharing this!!! :-)
Mrs Cog we really can’t ever have enough junk journals. Your course will be a wonderful resource for those wanting to learn the ins and outs of becoming a jj entrepreneur . ❤️
For those thinking about going into the junk journal business, it would be very helpful for crafters to give some insight into any sales tax headaches they've encountered and solutions that worked for them. Mrs. Cog, would you consider adding that to your course? The course looks amazing. I love and am inspired by your creations!
Thanks so much for your kind words Terry. I am happy to address sales taxes here in my reply. I have no sales tax headaches because I sell through Etsy. They calculate, collect and then remit the sales tax required by states and foreign countries. Being a former accountant, I am floored at the growing complexity of it all and that is why I am willing to pay the rising fees to sell on the Etsy platform. :-)
Does the course teach how to create a digital stamp or images? I'm going to try to hop on the sale this weekend for the full course. Love love love your work, how incredibly polished it always appears, and the happiness it brings to my heart to just watch your videos 💖 thanks for being you!
This is a great question Susie. There are a few items that are US only points. One is a shipping trick for domestic packages within the US, but the other shipping information should be quite helpful. Also, I talk briefly about US copyright rules, and those will differ depending upon your country of residence. I don't think the information about Etsy and marketing on social media would differ much from one locale to another. The concepts behind selling journals in a global marketplace should carry over. I hope this helps. :-)

Aww, thanks Gracie. :-)

Wondering if one would purchase this course, would you also be available for questions/advice as that person begins their business?
Just purchased the course through your etsy shop!! Can't wait! How do I start?
Thanks so much Laurie! All the info has been sent to you. Enjoy the course! :-)
If I purchase the junk journal course will I get a a discount on the second. Or is there one with all included.
How much of the course is only relevant to US markets please? It sounds wonderful but business here in the UK can be very different! xxx💕....Susie
