My Organized Refridgerator

- This is a video on how I organize my refridgerator. It allows me to make a grocery list quickly and helps everyone in the family know where to locate items and where to put them back so that the next poerson can find them easily as well.

I love that your pantry and fridge are filled with "real" foods that most families eat. I have watched many of these type videos and they're filled with things that no one I know would eat lol! Good tips!

I love your organized fridge! I am going to look for the white bins tomorrow! I also am going to try to find some small bins to use in my fruit drawer. Great idea to store the fruit. I usually just keep it in the bag it came in which is not as nice. I know that Humalog box! Sadly my daughter is Type 1 also. I've had insulin in my fridge for the last year and a half (diagnosed at 8) :( Praying that one day our fridge organization does not have to include insulin and our kids have a cure! Thanks for the inspiration! I know what my piddle project is tomorrow :)
Becky, you reaffirm my belief in that old adage; a place for everything, and everything will have it's place!
For almost 50 yrs, since I married, I have organized my fridge, closets, drawers, pantry, laundry room, etc. ~ even my 40' trailer the same way. Everything has a place, I fold, stack everything in a certain way, and I even color code items!
My husband, sons, and even grandkids may laugh, but by doing so, I know specifically what is needed, or missing, thus saving lots of time and money when shopping. I do not end up with duplicates, or triples of items ~ unless I want them. Though I do keep a shopping list, I just have to take a quick look for things I may need ~ and, I swear I could do it blindfolded!
Along with not wasting space, when I, or anyone else needs something, we know exactly where to find it! Unless someone puts an item away in the wrong place ~ which really bugs the heck out if me!
My sister has called me anal as I put everything away in the same place, and in the same way, but when she is looking for her colander, two socks the same color, or she needs a pen and a piece of paper to write a note and can't find them, but comes across three jars of cinnamon, I giggle.... thinking to myself; "now, who is right?"
We both may be, but I don't get frustrated or waste time and money.
Oh Carol-We must be kindred spirits! I totally understand exactly why you do the things you do. I wouldn't do it any other way and you are so right about being able to do things blindfolded :)

Becky you are my kind of gal. I've always been an organized person,I guess that comes from teaching many years. I'm very OCD also! I believe everything has a place and everything should be in its place. I love your videos so much that I watch them over and over. You are very organized and you speak to my heart! I got a chuckle when I saw the white and burgundy box in your fridge door ;) Both our kids are type 1 diabetics so we have a shelf dedicated to their Humalog and Lantis as well :) Thanks for your videos, I cleaned my fridge this morning before I stumbled upon your videos and now I tackled the freezer :) I also created a nicer coffee corner after watching that video as well

Also, though I keep my home organized, when friends stay out at our trailer on our permanent site at the RV resort, they complement me for the way it is organized as they can find everything when they need it, even all of the supplies, golf cart, lanterns, etc. In the shed.... They ask if they can "borrow" me to organize their stuff,

mrsd6allnatural-I have to admit that this was a diffucult one to organize. There is a new design out with 3 drawers in the freezer section among other nice features but this is a new one for me and have to work with it. This is the best arrangement I have found for this refridgerator. Sometimes I wish I could design products for the organizers in this world that would be so awsome I would love it :) Try it out and tweek it to fit your family life style i know it works for us
I have this same fridge. I love how you have organized it. I think I will use some of you our ideas. Do you remember what kind of plastic boxes you used in the vegetable & fruit drawers & where you bought them? I like how they fit so well. Thank you

Where do you keep fresh vegetables? I only saw one tomato and a head of lettuce in your refrigerator.

I really enjoy your videos! It's great to see such organization. I'm not the type to label everything, but the way you've done it seems to work well. However, I must say that in watching your fridge and pantry videos I'm certainly concerned about your nutrition. Lots of artificial foods, sugary drinks, nitrate laden lunch meats, and hardly any fruits and vegetables. Hope you don'to feel judged, but your food purchases could really use a complete overhaul
