Prince Edward, exellent royal presenter. Love his voice.
Every single episode of this documentary series is brilliant. I wish HRH had made more.

Yes it's true and I'm agree
Murder in the sanctuary. Outrageous!! Another excellent documentary by Prince Edward.
Very interesting, lots of little snippets of historical yumminess! Presented by Edward - just adds a layer of added goodness to the mix; and he does it so very, very well! Good job, nicely done!
This is an enjoyable peek into history, for me an inspiration to investigate further, and nice to be able to look at. Prince Edward is very good at being a presenter. I am watching these shows just after the death of his mother, may she rest in peace.
Love the whole series.
His Royal Highness has done a magnificent job here. Please let it continue.
Extremely interesting series. Love the music, pictures and of course the wonderful presenter! Iam sure the queen is very proud of him. Quality product being watched by me in Western Australia.

Wonderful series. Can't help but think you must have learned a great deal about your nation. Thanks for sharing... from one of your American cousins. Charles Vincent
This series is great!!
Thank you ever so much Prince Edward for yet another brilliant presentation. I would've loved to have had him as my English History professor. What a fantastic orator.
Wow the Prince is really very good. I love these videos.
There is at least one perfect son in that family not a lick of scandal no divorce no child ruining there name and a perfect wife that does anything to please the family what a gem this branch of they royal family is makes me proud to be a monarchist
I love these videos! Very interesting! I wish Edward was producing more of them! Edward, The Black Prince was Prince of Wales and was my 17th Great Uncle. It's fascinating to learn about him !!!! Thank you for sharing these great videos 🎉❤!
Enjoyed the whole series a lot, except the pagan attention to ghosts. Excellent royal presenter & music as well as the guest-speakers. Thank you for uploading. Gr. from Holland 🌷
excellent ! enjoyed in NZ
Growing up in Canterbury, I thought I knew the story of Thomas Becket well. I never realised Henry had been at Harbledown church, though. I used to sing in the choir there as a boy.
This was excellent! My thanks and appreciation. One question, is there an episode on Glastonbury? I did search but can not seem to find it. If there is one, a link would be welcomed. Thank you
That’s prince Edward? WOW he is good at his job.
Well done.

Title music and much of the incidental music by Paul Pritchard
Good evening everyone
Prince Edward would make a much better monarch than his older brother Charles.
Damn, Prince Edward is packing some major package. Very nice Your Highness...
Edward doesn't have that same plummy accent like Charles 🤔😊
So why not explain what the medieval punishment of ‘sackcloth and ashes ‘ actually meant ! Doah Edward pull yourself together lad
A pity that the programme and Edward Windsor never acknowledged that these Cathedrals, Saints and Kings were originally Catholic. From Westminster Abbey with the Sainted King to Canterbury Cathederal were all Catholic yet Edward never admits to this and at best says Christain this or Christian that never Catholic. Is this because Christian allows him not to be specific ! I would have though by this day and age they could be realistic, honest, professional and precise and not Euphnisums of 'Christianity'.
The Greek word Katholicos comes from Kata / according to and olios / the whole - in other words, it denotes those who embrace the the teachings of the whole church, accepted by all everywhere, but notably the teachings of the 7 Ecumenical Councils. This excludes the Latin rite, but the significance falls to the Edict of Theodosius of 380 which made Nicene Christianity the official religion of the Empire. Nicene Christianity define the reality of God as the three hypostasis, Father, Son and Spirit in a holy Trinity. This was rejected by Tertullian, Augustine , and Aquinas, whose formula of una substantia tres persona. Persona is defined by the Oxford Latin Dictionary as a mask worn by actors, is the three are NOT in any sense the reality of God, but simply masks. The concept of personal being was invented by the 27th century philosopher Hobbes. The Edict of Theodosius have those who embraced Nicene Christianity the right to call themselves Catholic Christians and rejected all others as heretics. This the Orthodox church and the Reformation churches who share that understanding can validly call themselves "Catholic Christians, while the sect of heretics, who claim the title, are not so entitled.
Canterbury and other Pre Reformation churches, built not by a "church" but by the people of England, have been Catholic churches, but only since the Reformation.
Maybe he didn't want the Church of England to be identified with the Inquisition,
