I did the 5 seconds sprays inbetween from a hose directly down to the filter, idled at 15 minutes and drove a little harder than usual in both high and low gears for heavy pressure for about 30 minutes. I always buy 2 bottles just in case.
@@xiaomitelephone845 No, only a little bit some minutes in the start. Honestly a simpler way: I tried 2 fuel tanks with "904 diesel particulate filter cleaner" fluid and drove almost 20 hours one day to sweden and back to norway, one year since last time and haven't gotten any messages.
Excellent discovery this product is the cheapest solution available.Bought 2 motip spray and lambada key on ebay.Changed oik and oil filter.Sprayed motip dpf in oxygen sensor , left engine running idle for 15mins and went on motorway driving 70 miles an hour in 5th gear. On the way back my SUV on the hill was as powerful as F35.

Sorry for the late reply. Thank you for your question. The particulate filter is regenerated during driving, the way you drive (pandent towers) has no influence on it.
i think the best remedy is time, to let it absorve or something. You can check other videos in order to see other cleaning solutions (some guy is trying out different cleaning solutions) @@frv6610
I have an VW Passat 2012 Diesel 1.6 variant, it have very poor engine power, and the DPF lamp is flashing. Ive tried to poor some DPF cleansing inn the tank, this didn't work, now im gonna try this method....i hope this will hjelp, if not it's gonna be very expensive to fix.
im spraying today in few hours,mines full, wont regenerate itself , soot full light on as soon as i give it a little bit more throttle. will see how effective it is. i got dpf underneath and sensor easy accessible luckily.

I injected 2 cans of fluid through oxygen sensor's opening and now it is out of limp mode (also risk of dpf clogging-fault is solved) but it didn't stop Service mode which is caused by ash in the filter. There was no need for forced regeneration with computer. Edit 9 months later: The Service Mode was caused by a not working engine radiator fan, the DPF filter is ok.
Surely it will clear some of the ash though with the liquid flushing through the exhaust not as good as removing it to fully flush out the ash of course but a cheaper/easier option before going to those lengths better than just doing a forced regen and often a car will be so blocked it wont do forced regen so this would clean it out enough to do another regen
Ash can't pass through the ceramic walls of a dpf filter, only gas from regen. The holes/tubes/channels in a dpf don't go through the filter, just into it and are closed at the end. Same at the exit end, Regen of Burnt off soot trapped in the dpf cross through the ceramic substrate from inlet tubes to outlet as gases, but ash remains in inlet, and can only be removed by reverse back pressure through a removed dpf filter afaik. Ash takes about 150,000 miles to affect the dpf, then either replace dpf or major remove and clean. Fluid into the dpf to remove diesel soot don't change ash, and wetting ash may make it cement like and impossible to remove further on. Ultrasound is used also to loosen and remove ash inside the filter afaik.
Sure. It has to be taken off car, both sides filled with cleaner and after few hours rinse with water. On both sides there is a man on ytb that cleans dpf with many agents and best ash dissolvent was 3% HCL.

How I can know that product has decreased ash level and how much has it decreased? I used the product on 2.0tdi (CRBC) which had no warnning or error lights but it has 70% full dpf of ash. As far as I got ash level is just calculated by number of regenerations.

Yes, our DPF Cleaner is a tool to loosen and remove ash deposits in diesel-particle filter systems. Of course the seriousness of the ash deposits plays a part in the end result.
I tried this stuff and it don’t work, my ash residue was 67.89 and now it’s 68 so it does not reduce or clean ash residue as advertised. I bought 2 cans still have 1 left might make a video showing it does nothing to remove or reduce ash residue and will wait to see what motip has to say

Just applied it on a 9 year old Audi Q3 2.0TDI.
It regained a big amount of power. Very noticeable.

@@dextiir didnt do well. dpf too clogged. removed it completely last year now its fine. no sensor issues just badly clogged filter at the time.

This will not clear ash from the DPF.

Check your DPF Differential Pressure that will tell you if it has cleared

The ash and soot content are calculated not measured.
The differential pressure and the frequency of subsequent regens would tell a better story.
This will only clean soot and not ash.
