Highly effective fluid for cleaning clogged passenger car diesel particulate filters when installed. Dissolves contaminants in diesel particulate filters. Secures optimum vehicle handling, engine performance and low fuel consumption. Regular cleaning in combination with flushing can help avoid expensive repair costs. Cleaning occurs with a DPF pressurized tank spray gun (part no. 7946) and the specially developed DPF-Probe with 5 interchangeable tips (part no. 7945).
Intended use:
For passenger car diesel engines with diesel particulate filter (DPF/FAP). Special short-distance vehicles and city vehicles are primarily affected by problems with clogged diesel particulate filters.

The soot is cleaned, but not the ash, no real long term solution then. Other cleaners tackle the ash as well (but DPF has to be taken off which isn't that much of an issue)

Just take the dpf off and bash a 2" square hole all the way through with a metal bar, shake fragments out into the bin, refit and the car is better than new

Can you describe how this product would be used on a 2015 GMC SIERRA 2500HD Duramax? When looking at the DPF the sensors sit on the top of the DPF with little to no clearance from the truck undercarriage. I'm thinking I will still have to remove the back half of the exhaust system to make this work.

Load of old tosh, the only way to clean the dpf is remove it and fill it with 25% hcl and 75% water drain and repeat several times until you flush out clear water with a hose,allow it to dry and refit.

No. The product is only made for professional use and must always be used together with # 5171 and subsequent DPF regeneration according to the manufacturers instructions.

i have been told by peugeot service that my peugeot 508 rxh particulate filter has reached the end of life. Would cleaning particulate filter with this work for me? I have engine light on it. Would the engine light clear itself after cleaning?

The DPF can get saturated with Soot from the combustion or with ash oil residue. It will depend whether your DPF is saturated with soot or ash. Is it the first one we can clean it, is it the second on you probably have to change the DPF filter.

I´m sorry to tell you that we can´t recommend you our product for cars with a DEF--System.
It can cause a damage.
i have done the regeneration cycle. if it is blocked by ash than how come my 2012 mercedes sprinter 2500 is still able to run and drive normally? but the check def light keeps coming on. i have never missed a time to put the def fluid in, could there be another problem? because if it is blocked by ash the car would not have as much power as it does.
If the filter would be clogged up too much a regeneneration cycle is not possible. This means the exhaust gas pressure in your dpf is still too low and a regeneration cycle is possible to do.
Please check in your workshop what is the reason for the light shows up in the dashboard. Depending on the system sometimes it´s necessary to reset the ecu after the regeneration cycle is done.
Can this be used on Ford Powerstrokes? In particular the new 6.7L?

I did all of this but no smoke came out and the check light for DEF still comes on my Sprinter.
- If the regneration process of the DPF system has been carried out ?
- If not, start the regeneration process !
- If yes, maybe the Diesel-Particle-Filter-System is not blocked by soot, it is blocked by ash !
- If the Diesel-Particle-Filter-System is blocked by ash, you have normally to change it. Please check the ash loading condition of the DPF system, if this is too high, than the DPF is to change !

Each DPF can be treated with that (according to the application description). It is important that a direct access is created.

Often an installation error is the cause of problems.
After changing my starter I can report that my vehicle did start but the DPF light did not go off after a regeneration. I was very hopeful this product would work but it didn't. Don't be fooled by this demo.
Daniel Carrete There are 2 possible reasons for the clogging of the DPF, ash or soot.
Our Liqui Moly Pro-Line cleaner for diesel particle filters can only clean the soot deposits.
If the DPF is clogged by ash, you need a new DPF.

Am apelat la acest tratament pentru motor foarte popular in strainatate si sunt foarte multumit de rezultate ! Asteptam de mult sa ajunga si la noi in Bucuresti. Dupa 3-4 zile deja parca am alt motor, s-au redus vibratiile si merge mult mai rotund. Consumul s-a redus cu aproape un litru conform cu computerul de bord (Astra 2007 1,9 tdi ). Cel mai interesant este ca tot procesul s-a facut la mine in fata casei cu un dispozitiv mobil, frumos si elegant in 45 de minute ! Recomand cu incredere !

if you're car has done 80000 miles or more it's better to get new dpf trust me all cleaning products will never work better then getting new dpf £825 with labour.
dpf life only last 80 k this is why cars warranty last only 100 k miles and no part is covered after this. renewing it gives warranty and no headache.
And by getting a new dpf will it keep blocking up because the engine is more worn pushing out more carbon ect into them ??

This whole DPF thing is a pain in the rear, my emissions light has been on for 100K klms, I do a LOT of highway driving, fuel consumption is ok. Stealer says $1400 to change DPF sensors. Still going a year later. Next diesel will be pre DPF. Maybe I'll get a petrol (GAS for u Yanks) instead.
