With everything Halie has been through this past year, I think a trip would be absolutely wonderful for Halie. Maybe even just Crystal and Halie. For some quality time. Maybe bring a couple other girls. Or whoever she wants to bring. I think Halie deserves a trip.
To give Halley her wish, give her your budget for her gifts, let her find a family in need or kids in foster group homes, and let her buy gifts for them that they WANT.. It is life changing and she will deeply feel the spirit of Christmas. For your son who wants to feed the homeless, spend a day with him doing just that, either at a soup kitchen, or making and delivering sandwiches on the streets. I would challenge each child to do something special for someone less fortunate, as part of the holiday.
For the kids saying they don't like reading, there are other kinds of books that make great gifts like recipe books or hobby books about things they are interested in!
lol I once got a cat book ( talks about different breeds of cat with cute drawings) from a colleague for my birthday I thought this is a cool idea since I am a cat lover 😂
Totally feel you on not feeling completely ready for Christmas this year! Living in the RV has made things just so crazy! But we are gearing up to do Christmas lists this coming week!! You guys are awesome! ❤️❤️
I love how much Savannah has grown . Her love to everyone is so unconditional. I remember when she was so quite and shy and now I see her so much in every vlog. I’m so happy she and Lucas found their forever family that has so much love for each other.
A few years ago I really wanted to help the homeless. What I did was collected purses and fanny packs. I got donations and used my own money and put some necessities in them. Toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, feminine products and a few treats. Those were just a few things. I took them to the homeless shelters in my city and handed them out. The smile on people's faces were the best Christmas Presents I could ever get. You should try that. Get the whole family involved!!❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤🇨🇦❤
I’ve done that same thing before, but with backpacks. At the time I was seeing an doctor in downtown Portland, Oregon. So for the whole month of December and a bit into January every time I went for my twice a week appointments. I’d load up some bags to hand out while I was there. I made a few different kinds. I made specialty bags for women, men, unisex, children, and pets. My mom at the time was an avid crocheter. She donated tons of free labor and love. I had planned it out ahead of time enough that every bag had a scarf and beanie. I also added emergency heat blankets, hand warmers, socks, gloves, garbage bags, toiletries, etc. Sometimes even the smallest things to us, can be huge in someone else’s life. It’s way more rewarding to give then to receive. Spread love and light like glitter!✨💜✨
I loved doing this!! I couldn't do it last year or this year because of Covid19!! Hopefully next year. I did close to 300 bags last time and my goal is to double that to 600!!
Savannah’s transformation from when we first met her is beautiful. You can see how love and affection have really helped her come out of her shell. Also, I love Brody! Such a special little boy.
I know a couple who gives their kids "experiences" instead of gifts for their birthdays and holidays because they feel like making memories are far more important than giving a gift the kids are going to play with for five seconds and then break. I think this would be great for Hallie especially since she's entered into the working world and is missing out on some of the family activities.
this message is for hallie, One of my favorite book series is by the author David Pelzer. You start with book 1 which is called "A Child Called IT" and its super emotional and heart touching and i feel like it would be a series she would like!
Crystal talking about knowing each of her children's love language was so nice to hear. I was just reading something the other day about how this is so important to do in our relationships. So much love and respect for this family.
This video reminded me how my family use to make our Christmas lists. When I was younger...(way back in the early 90’s). We still got catalogs in the mail from the bigger department stores at the mall. These things were huge, like three inches thick. The Christmas catalog was the MOST AMAZING for us kids at least. My siblings and I would take turns going through the whole thing, page by page, front to back. Each one of us with our own color of highlighter, carefully marking each and everything we wanted.
A great gift to go along with books is a personalized "From the Library of... " stamp. Especially when some of your children ask for the same books. You can get them in several designs from Etsy. My niece loves hers!!
Since Hallie (my apologies if it’s spelt wrong)feels like she has everything she needs or wants, you can get her the things she runs out of like her favorite body wash, body sprays, you can never have too many earrings or bracelets, necklaces or even socks with a cute cartoon on them! Maybe some gifts cards to the movie theater or her favorite restaurants. Maybe a spa or somewhere she can just relax. Maybe something for her car or a cellphone case. Idk, just a few suggestions lol
“The magnolia story” by chip and Joanna gains is amazing! Also they read a audio version as well and it’s amazing. “The Matched Trilogy” if your into stories similar to hunger games, maze runner, divergent style. (Also all decent teen books).
My granddaughter loves baby Yoda. I own a small business so I actually just made her the cutest baby Yoda drinking tumbler with glitter, gold leaf and baby Yoda decals. I also put her name on it. I did one for all 3 of my grandkids because then they each have their own personalized cup. Great Xmas gifts. Love your family 🥰
Jamie has such a good list. Especially in the reading department. I read the Harry Potter & Twilight books, they are my favorite. For the teens, don’t skip on Hunger Games, the books are always better than the movies. You guys got me into a reading mood now. 😆
Hunger Games is the best series ever to me. And I’m a potterhead😂 Idk it’s very mature! Reading it at 15 and reading it at 21 is very different in terms of perspective. I used to not like Katniss at all but I understand her now, she is a really good complex character😩 Cannot recommend it enough now
I loved your explanation of Christmas lists. And how when you got what you wanted you felt more disappointed than when your mom got you stuff that wasn’t on your list. I’ve been wondering why Christmas hasn’t felt as magical or happy as when I was little. I think your reasoning is exactly why.
I just can’t believe how different & big the whole Christmas gift is. Growing up, I never got so much presents as they have on 1 list/paper in one whole year. This year I’m not putting out Christmas decorations, a Christmas tree etc. Just not into the spirit, as my lupus, psoriasis arthritis are worst then ever. And also dealing with like an autistic burn out/depression again. As an artist I just make 2 presents, one painting for my brother and one for my parents. Here in Belgium the whole virus thing is very bad, so happy that the family ‘party’ is not going to happen like last year :)
Hope you have a great day anyways💕 May God bless you and help you through everything you are facing, may he strengthen and comfort you where you need it most in Jesus Name Amen💕🎀
I totally agree with you about quality time.... when I was younger I already knew who will give the gifts and what before Christmas. I never had a surprise! I loved that you try to give a special 🎁 and special time with them
Wow you have a beautiful family, the kids have pure hearts, they think of others before themselves. Aaron made me cry coz when he said " he has everything he wants, a wonderful family!! But, when you said, you listen to your kids and know them so well!! You and Aaron are so loving and have so much love for all the kids and more!! Love your vlogs, I miss having a parent! I miss the advice and phone calls, christmas will never be the same again, all I have is the joy of your family. I miss family dinners as a kid all the family together ❤️. Love you crazy pieces.
I love Savannah or should I say Bannah her answers and that she’d want to read about Ann Frank. Hard to keep a dry eye is all I can say. Crystal I’m not trying to blow air your way. But, you’re amazing because you truly love. That it’s not enough to buy gifts for your kids. That you know their love language, want to know their favorites, give them constructive line of thought . That almost made me sob. Taking time to think what to give is so amazing. But not just the gift but what fits for your dynamics. ♥️♥️♥️. Love that Aaron and Alex , the “A” team has good communication or at least takes time to gel and bond. So amazing. ♥️
Loved your new son's Christmas list💗 Wish I could do a Christmas list for my kids. Money is tight but my kids have always been very selfless and anytime I ask as for what they want they say anything you get me is fine. Love how much of a daddy's girl Savannah is💗
Halie Book suggestion: White Oleander (An extremely vague story summary- it's this girl going through foster situations and dealing with her mother and the cruelty of the world. I didn't even think of the foster care connection because it's actually my favorite book. )
Lol @ Savannah when Jamie said she had the Twilight books on her list😂 Just ask for different books and you can borrow them from each other when they've read them!
Sir Aaron is a good father....great dad!!! I missed my father so much i wished i had more time with him but i know that he is happy up there....salute to crazy pieces!!! What an awesome family💗💗💗
I think for next year or even this year you should make your lists online through giftster. It's helpful when you don't know who's getting what for someone for Christmas. Once your list is uploaded in the group, anyone can claim or purchase what's on your list and they can also see if anything has already been purchased. The person who created the list won't be able to see if there was anything purchased so it doesn't get spoiled. I highly recommend this for extended families.
Chrystal you constantly amaze me! You are just the most thoughtful and loving mom that really pays attention to each of your kids even though you have so many! I’m not a mom yet but I’m learning so much from you for the future!
I really love how they care and try to make sure they know what the kids like or the what they're interested in. And the kids reactions just makes 3x better.
I do want, need, wear, read for my kids. I have a teen who hates to read and for theirs they have put down a cookbook. Last year they got comic books. 😊
Your family touches my heart every day and when your son said he wants to feed the homeless I balled. I work with homeless families and there is so much need. Thank you for everything you and your family and the joy you bring everyday.
My kids are teens close in age to some of your older kids. They don’t want or need anything and decided no gifts. I’m a DCF Social Worker. Every year we get donations for our kids in care but we don’t always get enough for all of our kids. We decided to pick up some of the wish lists of children that did not get donations and we as a family are going to fulfill some wishes. We have enjoyed shopping together so much and spending quality time. I love you and your family so much and it warms my heart to see you change these children’s life’s. I can only hope my kids on my caseload can find wonderful families like yours.
Okay, I have SO many book recommendations, but first, audiobooks are magical! I never liked them because as a bookworm I thought they “were cheating”, but when I became a mom I finally tried them and realized I LOVE them. Just because it looks different, doesn’t mean it’s not reading!!!
I love this! Before you get Jake the hat definitely have him go into the store Lids or Hat Club and try on a hat so you know his size… especially if you’re going to get it customized ❤️
A few years I wanted to help the homeless. Did I get to? A few times! You have to careful though. You never know who is faking being homeless. Most of the time you have the feeling you know there homeless and know what they are going through.
Crystal just wanted to say there is nothing wrong with liking tweety bird LOL, I'm in my late 50's and I have tweety everywhere even in my camper. It drives my husband crazy and he laughed at me when we got our camper last year and the first think I put in there was tweety magnets on the fridge. I love that you listen to your kids and know their hearts so well. Awesome MOM
Reading is such a great habit to build up. Personally I never used to read because I would feel guilty when I started a book but didn’t vibe with it enough to finish it. When I realized I can just find a new book guilt free it was so much better.
Love this! This year, we are making gifts for eachother. For my oldest, I am making a junk journal. My middle is getting cookies, and my youngest will get a box with 52 envelopes, and she gets to open one each week all year long. The love and care I am seeing them put into the gifts they are making for eachother makes me such a proud mama!
My grandchildren have so much as the way of things so every year we plan an trip or activity instead. We call it making memories. This year are season passes to the local amusement/water park. They can use it all year
For the kids that don’t like to read, maybe try to find books based off of their favorite shows/movies. That way they can read something that they will enjoy and they can compare and contrast the differences in the book vs the film.
Love how you do the Christmas lists because everyone changes over time. I hope you have them retake the love language test every so often because that can change as well. I decided ro take it after I watched this and got acts of service (29) and words of affirmation (26). In the past I always got quality time and gifts. I think now that I have been single for 3.5 years with fewer people to help me and really understanding my depression that these 2 things have become more important because I don't get them as often as I used to and took advantage of these things before.
Once my kids are older, my plan is to skip out on gifts and go on a family trip. I love your idea to center it around their love language. I wil l have to incorporate that into our future Christmas trips.
Omg when they were talking about the series of junee b Jones, magic treehouse, etc! So nostalgic!!!!!! I’m 25, all that takes me right back to my childhood!!!!
That is the sweetest Christmas list. I loved it. What a great kid. I can see why it madeb Crystal cry and feel so happy. Cant wait to meet the three new kids.
My love language is quality time and the least is gift, I don't get gifts but when I do I cherish them. I understand the crying part for a gift. My bday is soon but last year on my bday, I invited friends over and some brought gifts which I wasn't expecting and my close friend, she bought a bracelet and I was shocked and when I saw she had a matching one I started to cry!
Yes Banah! I read Anne Franke when I was in 8th grade & it is absolutely one of my favorites! I can not wait to meet the new kids! Just hearing you guys talk about them & seeing little pieces of them on camera, I can already tell they are AMAZING PEOPLE and just a PERFECT fit for your family 🥰❤
OMG.... I just had to cry!!! Yes, the part with the "being with my fam and feeding the homeless" was emotional but, what really moved every emotion in my body was, the part Crystal talked about the "paying attention to the kids and not only give them the things on the Xmas list" ! Why it was emotional to me, well, my mom was like that! I barely asked for things..or never really wished things for Xmas (I was happy with the things I had).... But my mom aaallllwwaayysss surprised me with things I liked!!... She was that kind of person who, payed attention to everything I said. She sometimes bought things months before Xmas and then forgot about it and suddenly in March she would come to me saying "I forgot to give you this on Xmas"! 😂😂😂😂😂 I miss her so much... She knew me so well... Better than I do!!! 😢 Greetings from Ecuador 🇪🇨 🤗
My dad, who passed away from cancer right before our world changed with this pandemic, after my parents separated would give me and my brothers a hundred dollars on Christmas and he told us we had to spend 20% on books and another 20% on a charity of our choice then we could spend the rest however we liked. This was only one of the ways he taught us growing up how important it is to give. Through those first few years after they separated I know it must have been hard trying to figure everything out since I’m sure my mom did most of the Christmas shopping before they separated but now as an adult it means so much to me how hard he tried.
My love language is definitely gift giving and receiving-- I love to pick up little things that remind me of my loved ones and whenever someone thinks of me and finds something for me (it could be a pencil lol) it means so much.
Omg I love brody he's so adorable this time of year. I absolutely love when all the kid's do their Christmas lists 🎄 it's so sweet to see what they add. Omg I have the twilight books & I've seen all the movie's 🥰 awe I love how close Aaron & Savannah are
A trip for Christmas!! That would be so fun for everyone. (Make sure to let the working kids work know of course so they can join as well) My kids choose to make lifelong memories instead of gifts. They are all so greatful when they get to experience what all life has to offer.
I made up a calendar and put a date on it with something different each month for my sisters. It gave us sister/girl time without the kids or having to make dinner. One month we had our nails done, a couple of them we had dinner with each sister being able to pick the restaurant, one month we went to the lake and just hung out, in November we started our Christmas shopping and in December which normally would have been my choice as my birthday month because I let each sister pick what they wanted to do on their month. So I had cookie baking for December.
You guys are so humble, it brings me so much joy that we teenagers they want to give back. And for one of your new kids, saying that he just wants to be with his family truly gave me all the feels. What a beyond blessed group of kiddos you are raising, I love it! @Crystal, where do you take this love language test?! Would love to do that with my family! Thanks for sharing, always love your guys’ vlogs!!!!
Sounds like Brody could use a lego room for Christmas since Lego was a main want and need this year. I have one, i have all my parts organized into small drawers and mini boxes on shelves alone with a desk i can build on.
I love the new kid for wanting to feed n clothe the houseless. There’s no better blessings but to give to the less fortunate. Bless that little child’s heart ❤️ for wanting to make the houseless people feel loved 💕. Btw, Crystal, u should read A Child Called It, The Lost Boy n A Man Named Dave. Those books has touched my heart 💜. Made my stomach grinch. But yet, those books made me feel that although my childhood has been a good one, there’s other children out there who are being tortured. Blessings to all... Love n Aloha from one of ur biggest fan in Hawaii 🌈
Since Hallie and the new boy want quality time and to help people in need. You could take them both shopping for toys for kids in need. Then you could take them down to the homeless shelter to donate them and help out for a day! I did that once as a kid and it’s still my most memorable Christmas!
For the kids that want quality time do one on one day or activities with them. An example: movie day with a gift card to a local theater, and snacks to go with it presented in a plastic popcorn bucket.
On Etsy the other day I saw a Dino nuggies and they were the cutest thing they were plush or felt and as soon as I saw them it automatically made me think of your boys I've been slowly watching your Christmas videos as your post them and seeing the joy in your kids made me realize what I didn't have growing up. One thing you could do for Hailey is spend time with her as she picks out gifts for the less fortunate. So if her thing is she wants to make sure that they have food maybe you could go to the grocery store with her and get food for them or presents for them and make it a quality time with you and her while she's blessing and you are blessing to other people it is amazing to see the amount of love and generosity that your children have it is just something that seems so rare today and it really does make me smile to see them wanting to help other people
This is literally my favorite time of the year! And watching your guys' videos make me so emotional! Last christmas was so special with Lucas and Sav, I imagine this is going to be very special as well, I am so excited about that! Can't wait for them to finally get adopted 💘
With everything Halie has been through this past year, I think a trip would be absolutely wonderful for Halie. Maybe even just Crystal and Halie. For some quality time. Maybe bring a couple other girls. Or whoever she wants to bring. I think Halie deserves a trip.
To avoid a deception Crystal has experienced with the shirts gifted by her mother, I would entirely respect Halie's opinion.
💜this💙
Thats actually such a good idea! 🥰

Hello Stephen and Amanda. ❤️❤️
Hi Miller fam love your channel to
Was so moved, that your new son, was mature enough, to think of those who don't have. So selfless, and kind.

The person who created the list won't be able to see if there was anything purchased so it doesn't get spoiled. I highly recommend this for extended families.
What great kids. So heart warmimg. They have such empathy fir others. I loved what Aaron said, made me tear up as you new it was meant x
Chrystal you constantly amaze me! You are just the most thoughtful and loving mom that really pays attention to each of your kids even though you have so many! I’m not a mom yet but I’m learning so much from you for the future!
Hallie is thingkingking in donating her stuff, your other son want to feed the homeless, woww! They are both have a kind heart.
I so so love Savannah ❤❤❤❤❤
Her fast real reaction to Aaron's answer of wat her wants for Christmas ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I really love how they care and try to make sure they know what the kids like or the what they're interested in. And the kids reactions just makes 3x better.
I do want, need, wear, read for my kids. I have a teen who hates to read and for theirs they have put down a cookbook. Last year they got comic books. 😊
Your family touches my heart every day and when your son said he wants to feed the homeless I balled. I work with homeless families and there is so much need. Thank you for everything you and your family and the joy you bring everyday.
I'd give anything to have a family for Christmas. Something I've always wanted. You're so blessed. Merry Christmas.
Everybody needs an Aaron❤ this world would be a better place!! Sweet episode! Love you guys!
Okay, I have SO many book recommendations, but first, audiobooks are magical! I never liked them because as a bookworm I thought they “were cheating”, but when I became a mom I finally tried them and realized I LOVE them. Just because it looks different, doesn’t mean it’s not reading!!!
I also love to listen to them while I drive. Have it doing through the stereo in the car
@@brooke7541 this too!!!! Commutes are so much less boring!!!
🥺🥺Your new son has an amazing heart!!
I did not see the new son in the video
@@AZPA-dh6fb we can’t see them yet as there not adopted, she’s talking about how nice what he wrote
I love this! Before you get Jake the hat definitely have him go into the store Lids or Hat Club and try on a hat so you know his size… especially if you’re going to get it customized ❤️
I have never really did a list , always watched my son through out the year to see what he liked and went from there.
I LOVE CRAZY PIECES to PIECES! Reading is one of the true treasures you can enjoy as you get older. Ariana find a subject you enjoy, & interested in.
You are a great mum...more blessings come your way ❤❤❤❤❤
A few years I wanted to help the homeless.
Awesome MOM
Jakes list says “I read games” 😆
Reading is such a great habit to build up. Personally I never used to read because I would feel guilty when I started a book but didn’t vibe with it enough to finish it. When I realized I can just find a new book guilt free it was so much better.
Your the perfect mum! And Aaron is the perfect dad ! Your inspirational ! Merry Christmas 🎄
You’re such an incredible mom. A true inspiration to all! Thank you for sharing your life with us all, xx blessings
Your family is so sweet. Can't wait to meet the new kids.
When is their adoption
@@AZPA-dh6fb we don’t know a official date, There’s a chance it might not be before Christmas they’ve mentioned unfortunately
We are first year empty nesters and this is what we did this year.
You have such wonderful children, so kind and caring.
I love taking staycations with my family and just sharing time together.
Anne Frank was one of the only topics in history that I enjoyed learning about and books I enjoyed reading!
I miss her so much... She knew me so well... Better than I do!!! 😢
Greetings from Ecuador 🇪🇨 🤗
My dad, who passed away from cancer right before our world changed with this pandemic, after my parents separated would give me and my brothers a hundred dollars on Christmas and he told us we had to spend 20% on books and another 20% on a charity of our choice then we could spend the rest however we liked. This was only one of the ways he taught us growing up how important it is to give. Through those first few years after they separated I know it must have been hard trying to figure everything out since I’m sure my mom did most of the Christmas shopping before they separated but now as an adult it means so much to me how hard he tried.
I love how loved your kids feel
My love language is definitely gift giving and receiving-- I love to pick up little things that remind me of my loved ones and whenever someone thinks of me and finds something for me (it could be a pencil lol) it means so much.
Good teen book I was obsessed with when they came out was the immortal instruments. It has action, magic, and a pretty innocent love story
Hallie needs to read “it ends with us” by colleen hoover
omggg i just finished that yesterday. i cried. its so good.
@@smilebehappy6102 hope you love it !
Omg yessss
omg yes!
I love how crystal and aaron do everything they can to make sure they spend one on one time with each of their kids
On Etsy the other day I saw a Dino nuggies and they were the cutest thing they were plush or felt and as soon as I saw them it automatically made me think of your boys
I've been slowly watching your Christmas videos as your post them and seeing the joy in your kids made me realize what I didn't have growing up.
One thing you could do for Hailey is spend time with her as she picks out gifts for the less fortunate. So if her thing is she wants to make sure that they have food maybe you could go to the grocery store with her and get food for them or presents for them and make it a quality time with you and her while she's blessing and you are blessing to other people it is amazing to see the amount of love and generosity that your children have it is just something that seems so rare today and it really does make me smile to see them wanting to help other people
You are all such wonderful souls. Love watching you all and feeling like part of the keep it crazy family 💙
I love you guys so much I can’t wait to meet the new kids!! I been watching for almost 4-5 years now!!
When is their adoption
This is literally my favorite time of the year! And watching your guys' videos make me so emotional! Last christmas was so special with Lucas and Sav, I imagine this is going to be very special as well, I am so excited about that! Can't wait for them to finally get adopted 💘
Love what Aaron said at the end ‘ got everything I want’ you guys make me all mushy
