    Possibly you had Long Covid. I have similar symptoms as you and the timeline matches the beginning of the outbreak.

      Yes, this came up as I was being extensively tested from Dec 2019-July 2020 & the pandemic shut everything down. The timing matched. After years of extensive exploration, my answer was ultimately TMS/hypersensitive nervous system. Sending you all my love & healing. ♥

    I'm so glad that this video popped up - I can really relate to your situation. Once I found the works of Gabor Maté and Bessel van der Kolk. Thank you for sharing your story. Five years ago I had a neck injury roght after my fourth little one was born. My health went down hill fast. We had to move into my parents because I could not take care of my children and my husband had to work. We had four children under five. It has been the hardest thing I ever had to go through. I am getting better but I still struggle. Some days are better then others. I felt so alone at that time. All I wanted was to be a good wife and mother. The Lord has been my strength and he pointed me in the right directions to go for healing. I am totally going to look inti what you shared. Very interested.

      Taylor I know this SO WELL! Thank you for sharing. Through process of elimination, my final working diagnosis from my GP was "post-concussion syndrome" due to whiplash because they really couldn't find anything. I know now that it's a mindbody/nervous system issue. PCS is just a label. I just want to say that you are a powerhouse wife and mother. That is the truth, and that is how God sees us. So we need to walk in His truth daily until our brains and nervous systems relearn how to feel safe again. I recommend looking into Sarno, Brea Katrin, and the MindChange Method (and their Christian track called The Metanoia Method - I'm part of their student community :)). Keep going.

      I experimented & explored different diets & ate the cleanest I’ve ever eaten in my life. The symptoms didn’t improve or got worse. One day I decided to give up the super clean eating & went straight to a burger & fries, & I felt so much better. That moment further pushed me towards taking on the mindbody approach. That being said, I don’t just eat junk food. I am more mindful of what I eat but I haven’t found food alone to be much of a driving force for the symptoms personally. I believe that a regulated nervous system can handle most foods.

      I believe that a well-fed nervous system helps us regulate and that means protein and fat. I don’t know what you were eating on your clean diet but I have to wonder if the burger gave you the protein and high fat that your nervous system needed. I have found that to be true for me and I eat a mostly carnivore diet now.
      I too suffer from chronic pain and I wish you all the best in staying well for yourself and your family!!!

    • @MOAB-UT

      @@morganmckibbon4241 Thanks for your thoughtful comment Morgan. I am not sure. I lost a gallbladder which was not fun. Now it's hard to gain weight. No pain though and physical went fine- still thin. BMI 19. I did a DexaFit scan and it was more helpful than the Doctors. It showed my fat is fine, A- grade, but I need to GAIN muscle. I also did a RMR, resting met. rate test and it showed that I am a hyper metabolizer. I can eat a huge buffet and wake up lighter.
      I am sorry you suffer pain chronically. May I ask about it- what is it from. I know a ton about these things and after my mTBI, I have studied nutrition and wellness like my job.
      I do mostly KETO, but have to add a few more carbs in order to gain muscle apparently. I am caution though due to the Randle Cycle. Do learn about that. See Bart Kay interview with Judy- Dangers of... It's brilliant.
      Carnivore, as an elimination diet is great short term- but probably not sustainable for life IMHO. It is also a bit deficient on certain nutrients, including some minerals believe it or not and Vitamin C, Folate and fiber. I would highly recommend you use Cronometer (.com) Better than MyFitnessPal IMHO. The former wiill quite accurately track all you Micro and Macro nutrients...and calories which are less of a concern- especially on Carnivore.
      Some occasional IF, like 18:6 might help you as well. You probably need less sodium and less calcium (cronometer made this clear to me- and I eat clean, whole foods.) Most need more Magnesium.
      Focus on your sleep and restorative rest (not just time in bed.) Hydrate adequately. I have read books too about the nervous system- like Mind Magic. He is a Neurosurgeon. He says most live in a sympathetic state- not good- fight or flight (crotisol and stress hormone activation.) The goal is a parasympathetic state- that is a calm state. The body then releases happy, calming chemicals. There is a real mind/body connection.
      Cheers my friend- you got this!

    Sounds like what I have, multiple sclerosis, I had the same simptoms when I had an inflamation atack and it’s normal to recover from an atack in 2 years, but not entirely, so you should have a MRI to see if you have brain lesions.

    • @liannevalle
      @liannevalle  4 місяці тому +2

      That's what all the DRs were testing for. I had 5 MRIs, and every single test imaginable. Completely clean. The symptoms didn't match up to any diagnosis so everyone was so confused. Every treatment made me worse. It took years to discover that I was dealing with a mindbody/hypersensitive nervous system issue. I've learned that the brain can create an endless amount of symptoms - it's remarkable.

      @@Truerealism747 As I reflect on all the research I've done on everything health-related in the past 4 years, and all the people I've personally connected with who have recovered, my personal opinion as of late is that most dis-eases, diagnoses, and labels stem from a dysregulated nervous system. I believe that this dysregulation is learned and passed down through generations until someone is brave enough to reprogram their subconscious brain in whatever modality works for them. Different things work for different people. It's a highly individualized journey. I have spoken with people who have been diagnosed with hEDS and have fully recovered from all their symptoms. & more importantly, I'm not a doctor or health professional so take everything I say with a grain of salt. It's only based on my experience. 🤪
      I'm still on my recovery journey so I'm still putting the mindbody methods to the test. But this is the only method that has enabled me to drive, travel, go to theme parks, take care of my children and home, etc. again.
      Funnily enough, I don't have many pain symptoms. Mine are mainly neurological but all extensive tests are clean, like yours. & thank God for that. Sending you all my love!

    • @liannevalle
      @liannevalle  4 місяці тому +3

      Yes! When I mentioned that I had "mini health crises" in my past, I had two bouts of vertigo/dizziness that lasted about a month long each. Now looking back, I know what stressful life events they were tied to. Got checked out, got a clean bill of health, and just lived my life. One day I realized that the vertigo just wasn't there anymore. But because I didn't take care of my stress bucket as life became more stressful as I got older, my nervous system said "no more!" and the vertigo came back along with 30 other symptoms.

      @@liannevalle I have been dizzy since May 2019, started after several very stressful events that happened back to back. I have had a steady dizziness daily since and six or so episodes of actual vertigo attacks that started 3 years after the dizziness started. I had never seen your channel until UA-cam suggested it last night and once I listened to your story I had to ask if you had experienced dizziness as your story is similar to mine. I have listen to a lot of people who talk about John Sarno ( Dan with pain free you, steady coach ) I recently joined Vestibular fit group, Madison Oak here on UA-cam runs it. I’m praying something works. I have had all the testing done, seen many different types doctors, had many tests run - only thing that came back was high inflammation and critically low vitamin D. I am thankful nothing bad has come back but have not been able to get rid of this dizziness. It causes extreme fatigue. In the past I had to use a walker for a bit just to get from my room to the bathroom, being upright and walking makes the dizziness worse at times. What tells me that it is mind body is I have had great days where I can be shopping and in the stores just fine but then the next time I can’t handle it, the isles are to much, the lights and the people- it’s all very overwhelming. @@sandilobianco6734 I just remembered. When I started taking supplements, my symptoms got worse. Which was confusing because when I would get checked out with worsening symptoms, my levels were all in the very optimal range. That’s how I knew there was more to it.
