    Apart from the exhaust, which completely conceals the single swing arm bling; I love the look of the bike. For me; It has the right balance of modern & retro' looks.
    With the components, it goes without question it's gonna handle well & go like sh*t off a stick.
    I like it a lot.

    I have had this bike for almost a year. Best bike I have had, coming from a superduke. It is actually comfortable unlike some reviews put it. The handling is unreal, keeps up with the fastest riders in my group. My only gripe would be the Nannies. I wish there was more freedom like the Ducati.

    Beautiful bike, looks good in white but if I had a spare £18000 I'd get the red. Triumph finish and style their bikes better than most, I'd love one of these. Nice review, cheers.

    Great looking bike but you better have a good chiropractor should you want to do any serious mileage on the road. I opted for the RS which in IMO is a better choice for the road. The Ohlins suspension on the RS is top shelf albeit not electronic. Once you dial it in for your style riding you're done and the suspension is very compliant. RS has a carbon front fender as well. As far as the additional carbon fiber on the RR I personally think it's overkill. If you want the extra carbon for the RS you can purchase it for a relatively low cost. I think the brushed parts on the RS are a nice contrast with the paint and look high quality.

    Looks fantastic, get a tail tidy, exhaust so you can see the single sided swing arm(why do manufacturers spend all the money on R&D and then cover it up with clutter is beyond me,OK emisions/noise but stick the exhaust under the seat and hey presto job done)Great video once again.

    I would be so p1$$ed off with Triumph had I bought a new Speed Triple 1200RS having been told by Triumph there would be no uprgrades to the spec or further iterations of the Speed Triple and 12 months later they bring out this ......... Anyway it doesn't do anything for me. They should have just upgraded the 1200 RS with electronic suspension like KTM did with their 1290 SDR. Also on this RR it doesn't look like you can change the clip on bars for a flat bar. I went for the last of the previous gen 1050 Speed Triple RS in black and red and love it. No vibes on my bike. 148bhp is less power than this one, but still more than enough for the road. With the QS the engine is a peach. The Ohlins suspension properly set up is fantastic. The Brembo brakes are awesome. Being a naked flat bar bike the riding position is more upright and am guessing much more comfortable than this bike. My 1050 Speed Triple RS is all day riding comfort although I am considerably shorter than you at 5'8" with shorter legs. Triumph seem to have lost their way with this bike in respect to the Speed Triple as it was always a naked upright riding position hooligan bike, not a sports bike. They don't seem to really understand where their bikes sit with their customers or indeed what they want. I as an owner of a couple of Triumphs I have been exasperated by some of their decisions which seem to me to just alienate their customer base, me. Can't see them selling that many of these RR models.
    Triumph need to take a look at how other manufacturers progress and maintain the character of their various models eg BMW and their best selling 1200/1250 GS and KTM with their 1290 SDR or indeed Yamaha with their MT range and your MT-10. Improvements and up grades yes, but change them too much at their peril!

    Interesting observation, re vibration. I was outbid on a triple on eBay, before eventually getting myself a 90 degree V twin instead. This Triumph is undoubtedly smoother at town speeds, let's say less chuggy, but my mirrors are crystal clear at all RPM's.

    I really like the look of this bike. Unfortunately after sitting on it I already know I would be too cramped. Also wish they had offered the standard Speed Triple with the option of the suspension off the RR
    Fit and finish looks beautiful. Be nice to see that engine in a Tiger Sport, might just tempt me off the MT10. BTW, don't know if you're aware but there's about 5 minutes of dead air at the end of the vid.

    • @MOTOUK1
      @MOTOUK1  2 роки тому +1

      Yes it wouldn’t be the comfiest on a long journey. This engine is in the Tiger ok the 1200 but slightly de tuned 👌yes just noticed the dead video at the end very weird, I’ll try to cut it off in you tube edit let’s see 👍

    Good Lord, hope you’re surviving the heat! Here in my Idaho ski town it’s upper 80s/ low 90s (Fahrenheit) and I’m pretty darned hot in my gear. We have the guys in their shorts, t shirts and flip flops blasting around. We’re supposed to get smarter as we age, right? I’m trying, but it’s hot. Where do you draw the line? @@MOTOUK1 The mudguards are far too short to keep the bike clean in wet weather or, more importantly, protect the radiator from stones. Take it out in the wet and you'll see what I mean.
