I'm not a person who goes out at night so I don't know much about Roppongi other than the places I talked about in this video (lol), but I highly recommend places like Odaiba if you want to go somewhere relaxing yet fun (with great views + shopping)! Kyoto, Fukuoka, and Hokkaido are ALL places I haven't been to but really want to go to.😭💖 Hopefully I can make it happen in 2016!!

That kimono is super pretty! Is that a place for people to try on kimonos and take photos? I always wonder if there are places in Japan where tourist can try on kimonos. I've always wanted to try one on! You look gorgeous in that kimono and your nail color matches it! :)
They are at virtually all popular tourist spots that have traditional buildings etc - Tokyo, Kyoto, Kanazawa, Takayama, Nikko, Kamakura... And that's just Honshu.

+notacat Yes, they're open all year long! Age doesn't matter for kimonos, and there are various types. Definitely google and search for whatever matches you best in terms of location and concept! :)

+Gene Christie Miras Hi, and thanks for watching! It'll definitely depend on where in Japan you will be visiting, but I'm sure they'll have it in all major cities. Usually, you will be asked to select a plan and what you want to include in it (such as wearing the kimono, having the hair and makeup done professionally or not, add a photographer, etc). From what I know, places like Osaka and Kyoto have very popular plans as well, including photo sessions outdoors. You just have to be reallyyy careful b/c kimonos are hard to move around in, especially with the geta (shoes)! lol. I think you should definitely experience it though if you ever visit! In the summer, you can try yukatas which are much easier and lighter!

+Gene Christie Miras Hi, and thanks for watching! It'll definitely depend on where in Japan you will be visiting, but I'm sure they'll have it in all major cities. Usually, you will be asked to select a plan and what you want to include in it (such as wearing the kimono, having the hair and makeup done professionally or not, add a photographer, etc). From what I know, places like Osaka and Kyoto have very popular plans as well, including photo sessions outdoors. You just have to be reallyyy careful b/c kimonos are hard to move around in, especially with the geta (shoes)! lol. I think you should definitely experience it though if you ever visit! In the summer, you can try yukatas which are much easier and lighter!
