Special guests for dinner!!

The sparrows found that the ant moat in the hummingbird feeder sometimes has a special treat for them. Birds eating bugs🤢, not quite Comedians in cars having Coffee! 🤣 The hummingbirds are starting to come more frequently to the feeder. Looks like some first year ones are out on their own, they always look brighter and polished!! ❤️🐦

They remind me of the birds in the movie "A Bugs Life". It's fascinating to watch them twist their heads side to side to look down into the moat for food. Thanks for watching.

What a great view! :) Love the hummingbirds! I get bugs in my moat too...But I always end up cleaning them out myself...lol!! How interesting and smart that your birds have figured out that the moat in the hummingbird feeder can hold additional food for them. Thanks for sharing! What fun this was to watch.

Directly underneath this feeder, we planted a butterfly and bee garden. It has been attracting lots of insects. The birds have been picking them out and must have seen the ones in this feeder. In past years, they never got bugs out of this feeder, we had to clean them out. Thanks for watching!
