Why is it that in any budding sport/game/pastime people always feel the need to complicate the game? I play cornhole for the simplicity of the game…throw a bag in a hole…doesn’t get any simpler than that. Now I’ll have to think about which bag I throw and when to throw it? In my opinion it’s a nonsensical rule, want to throw a block-throw it shorter, want to slide up the board-throw it lower. How about just play the game as it is and has been for decades.
I feel like your down n back is good enough to decide what bags you want to throw. If you decide to switch after ur first down n back, ask your opponent if they mind doing a second down n back.
I think if they have the stamp you should be able to throw and mix match as you want no so much the weight but the speed. If I want to throw 2 BG bags and 2 SEVA bags you should be fine if they are stamped and approved
Allowing a whole ounce is a lot to be off by. Now bag companies don't need to be so exact. A lighter bag can throw off your shot if your not aware of a weight difference. 1/2 ounce is better. There starting to complicate the sport. Pretty soon you'll need a slid rule, calculator and a computer just to play the game. I think also if it's a stamped bag from any league that has the same bag weight differences should be OK to use in any game or match. All this fighting from league to league isn't good for the sport.
Horrible idea, over complicating the sport. As in the other sports mentioned, you have those options prior to the start of the match, i don't think you should be able to have 4 different bags to throw in the same match.
They need to make the game more challenging, with pros it can be nothing but a free throw contest which is boring as hell. Move the boards back 3 feet instead
It's unnecessary. I can see it causing more trouble than it's worth.
U might be right

Makes sense, especially if you warmed up awhile pre tournament

I can already hear...." I should have thrown my lighter / heavier bag". Lol we all already have this issue with a 2 sided bag.
🤣

Solid point

I don't think it a good idea
