    Amazing video... Can you PLEASE make a video on how you throw your roll bag PLEASEEEEE! I hold my bag just like you and don't want to hold it butterfly grip like all these other UA-cam tutorials. 🙏

    I would really like to see some individual tutorials on the cut, roll and reverse cut shots. Additionally, some explanation on when to use them and when not to use them. I know you did one for TikTok but I don’t have that so it would be good to see them on UA-cam.

      @@4baggerbrews can you talk about your release for a basic flat shot slide? I’m right handed and my bag lands and slides from left to right and don’t know why… AWESOME content and great explanations 🍻🍻

      @@amygemini14 could be the style of bag(carpet vs fast bag) or could be the angle the bag takes when hitting the board. I’m sayin from experience cuz I’m learning

    I appreciate the break down would love to see how you preform your different shots. I’m an avid player and a member of the ACL. The penguin and the bar of sop came about from Eric Davis. He actually performed both of those shots on ACL broadcast on ESPN now why he causes the penguin and the bar of soap I haven’t really asked him I do know him he plays in a lot of the regionals around where I’m from as well as Jamie, Graham and Frank Modlin and the newcomer Colby Shear, which I’m good friends with the Gore brothers play with us as well.

    Thanks for turning on the comments! Your vids (including TikTok) have been very informative. I would love to see someone provide explanation on how to do things such as increase/decrease spin on the bag, how to correct wobbly bags, how to correct tilted(inside and front) bags, how to get the outside tilted bag that so many high-level players have(including grip and wrist position along with release/follow through), how to position/hold/release the wrist for better consistency throughout each shot, what the various finger/grip positions do to the bag, and foot/body/hips/shoulder alignment while throwing. It would also be cool to see something on bag interaction as in how the bag you are throwing interacts with a bag already on the board in various scenarios (e.g., how to get around a bag(yours or theirs), how to collect, cut-collects, where to land next to a bag for a good push that follows the pushed bag into the hole, performing these shots on slick vs slow sides, etc.) I think some people just know these things, but haven't thought about why and/or shared them in videos. Thanks in advance for your insights on these topics!

    Thank you for this video!!! I hope to see more in the future. I’m working on a roll bag but it’s not going very well due to getting my pinky finger up and elbow in. Old baseball player with lots of old injuries limiting range of motion. Can you illustrate a nose down or other roll bag technique that doesn’t require that much torque on the elbow?

    I believe the penguin shot was named after a Super Mario game (maybe Mario 3). Mario could get a penguin suit by hitting a block and slide across the ground and knock the enemies up in the air and out of the way much like the cornhole shot.

      It’s exactly what Anthony Ayon from Cornhole science said. It’s Erik Davis that was one of the first to do it. He played Super Mario with is brother and named it after that.

    Great video man! I am playing my first tournament on Friday at the Canadian Open in Niagara Falls and I need all the help I can get. I've been practicing like crazy every day since I started playing back in September. I have been trying to get the roll bag down because I think it's safer than an airmail (like you said). I find the throw to feel a bit awkward because I am trying to get my pinky up but I find the bag doesn't really spin like yours was. I throw a pretty flat bag already but when I try to overextend by arm kinda hurts a bit. I can get it to work but it looks more wobbly than like a normal back tilt like you had. Anyway, looking forward to any more help you can offer. Consider me subbed..

      Thanks for the sub! How did you do at the open? I will be uploading tutorials of these shots as well, so I'm hoping to explain each shot in more detail

      @@4baggerbrews I did terribly! LOL. It was fun though. Nerves definitely got the better of me. Got to see a few pros and purchased some new bags. It was a good time. It would be great if you made a video about what to focus on as an intermediate player. Should I only focus on just getting the bag in the hole every time? Should I even bother with these other shots until i get to a more advanced level? I feel that after playing an open, if I would have just focused on the normal slide shot and just focused on getting it in instead of worrying about cut shots etc., I would have done far better. Problem is my shot is not consistent enough to just get it in all the time. I assume that means more practice.

    • @4baggerbrews
      @4baggerbrews  8 місяців тому +1

      You will need to have multiple shots in order to win tournaments at the advanced level. However, I will say that if you stay down the middle and slide more consistently, you will win MANY games. Many pro players slide 95% of the time, and use the advanced shots in special circumstances

    • @BriansKitchen
      @BriansKitchen 8 місяців тому

      @@4baggerbrews I agree with that. I'm just saying that because I am only at intermediate so far, should I bother learning these other shots before I reach an advanced level or once I can slide it in 90% of the time, then move to learning these other shots? I feel like I am still trying to make sure they go straight a majority of the time.

    • @4baggerbrews
      @4baggerbrews  8 місяців тому +1

      I would learn to slide the majority in first before trying the more advanced shots. You can still practice them at home between tournaments but focus mainly on the slide game 👍
