Hello here's some tips for keeping your nails safe from breaking
#1 Wear clear coats everyday if you have something to do with your hands like picking up heavy thing or pealing a sticker off of something
Note:Its ok if its not clear use any kind of nail Polish just not ones that will peal easy.
#2. Use oils like coconut oil or nail oil from Amazon get the best rated one.
#3 Don't go in the shower without nail polish because water weakens nails.
Last one: Your nails don't grow within 2 days so don't follow these videos with baking soda or salt it will make your nails dry and brittle
My nails break a lot and are really bendy I few days ago I got gel nails and my god my nails are so much healthier!! So far I’ve had the on for a week and two days. My nails have grown a lot.

For all the people saying "it only works because she has long nail beds" you can get that easily too, you just have to push your cuticles back everyday or twice everyday, ONLY DO THIS WITH A CUTICLE PUSHER they're called "cuticle pushers" (you can search it up and see it) and theres the one i prefer which is called "orange wood stick cuticle pusher" so um yeah (:

Avian no, no it’s not. When there are many of us who will have full growth at just 2-3 wks. 3-4 months is not fast growth.

@@saimakhalid5557 It depends on how long you keep adding the oil. I continued every day until abt May and they got longer than hers! Your nails will start to break at a certain point and you'll either have to clip the broken part off and continue letting the nail grow, or if it's small enough you can ignore it and it may fix itself over time. But in the end I was able to shape my nails into some nice coffin nails!

First, truthful ever, trustworthy natural homemade nail growth tutorial I've seen on UA-cam. And believe me, I've watched almost all UA-cam tutorial regarding nail growth.
Most are wearing acrylic and do not show realistic results while many people result to using garlic which I have no doubt might actually work, but I'm honestly not looking for my nails to be smelling like garlic 24/7, as someone who already cooks with it. Don't cut your cuticles they're there to prevent bacteria from getting into you're nails☺️
I've ALWAYS cut my cuticles and never had any infections or problems whatsoever! I'm also on obsessive hand washer so to me that's all you really have to do to avoid those issues… I think it looks neater personally.

my tips:
-don't wet your nails unless necessary. duck nails are softer and more prone to breaking.
-oil your nails and cuticle as MANY TIMES as you can. Jojoba oil works best.
-put the oil on the TIP of your finger so that your nail bed can absorb it better.
-ALWAYS have nail polish on!
-don cut your cuticles just scrape the excess skin off and push it back with other nails.
-don't do heavy work with your hands that can put pressure on your nails. like opening a can, use a damn spoon.
-don't use nail strengtheners unless you have paper-thin nails.
-dont bleach or buff your nails. makes them weak.
- BE PATIENT. it grows faster for some people and slower for others.
DON'T bite your nails.
I know its harder said than done because I was a nail biter too.
tips for not biting your nails.
-Always have nail polish on.
-remove all dry bits of skin around your fingers coz that's why I usually used to put them in my mouth.
-make your nails look pretty so you wouldn't want to bite them.
-watch nail art videos and wish that you can do them. gives you inspiration and motivation.
-take pictures every 2 weeks to track your nail growth again to keep yourself motivated.
-bite something else! chew gum!

also i highly recommend getting an almond or oval shape, i used to have square nails and they'd ALWAYS break at the corners, so don't try it out specifically if your nails are weak or it's your first time growing them after months/years of biting.
my nails are at the same length of hers and they're super thick without applying any oils (i'm too lazy for that lol also i never had a problem with picking my skin, only bitting nails)
I have my whole life wanted my own nails to grow.
so I started drinking lots of water and using a kiss strenghter and I use a lot of hand cream.
they are growing good plus I eat lots 9f food with protean, like eggs, chicken, peanut butter,and they are getting nice size now.
I use a tooth brush to clean anything from unders them with just water or even dry.
I now use a wood pick to and they are doing well.
I did get a crack in mine so I used nail glue on top and then smoothed out and put more kiss on it.

My nails do the same thing 😔 What she has at 6 weeks, took me almost 6-7 months to get to once before. My nails are short and bitten now, and I'm trying to get them to at least the length she has at 6 weeks, but I know it's going to take much longer for me lol
I have a similar growth rate as in the video, whilst for others it goes even faster. It just proves that all nails aren't created equal.
Nadia Taylor Don't worry about your nails cause at some rate they will come to a long length, you just have to be patient and care for your nails and make sure you give them what they want and sometimes it doesn't happen first or second time you have tried growing them cause they need to get use to them

for those looking for nail growth i’m here! i have short nail beds and i used to bite them where they would be bloody. i started to soak them in a lemon juice, salt, and olive oil combo for about 2 months and my nails are super strong and not flaking or breaking anymore! you gotta just file them flat (not rounded) for them to get strong! good luck!

Shani p of course! i’ve never been precise with measurements but its probably like the juice of half or a quarter of a lemon, a tablespoon or two of olive oil. maybe two shakes of a salt shaker and a little bit of water. all in a small bowl. you can microwave it a tiny bit to heat up. get a paper towel for drips and just soak one hand (just fingertips mainly) at a time. i did this at least twice a week up to like 10 times a week and it helped a lot!
Shani p regarding the filing, you’ve have to be patient. i always rounded my nails out and they flaked and broke easily. you gotta wait for them to grow out a bit and just file straight across, perpendicular to your finger. this way there’s just less room for breakage i guess. it’s been four months since i started but you really see results after the first month. good luck!

(file, shape paint etc) , and did you ever put on any top coat or nail growth of any kind ? so i can purchase
Shani p Ok so after I soak my nails I kind of wipe off excess liquid so you’re not dripping, but then you can just rub the rest into your hands! very moisturizing! so no you don’t have to rinse off. i think when my nails were at their shortest, i put any regular top/base coat on my nails so i wouldn’t want to bite them. i don’t paint my nails color usually. for filing, when you’re trying to get them strong, i suggest just filing them straight across so the sides can grow out strong. this’ll maybe be once a week or whenever you see growth!

they used to be so like a year back but after I started taking good care of them ( I know I used to be lazy bones but not anymore) e.g file them thrice in a week (that may sound weird but believe me I was do jealous of my friends and my lol sis )
I let them grow like a month without cutting them or biting them ..Apply some cuticle oil and when I run out of those I used baby oil/almond oil.
after a hard work for 2-3 months they got on shape and now I'm surprised they grow in no time. 😊😊😊

I love your nail care routine/growth! Question: Did you remove the nail harder/base coat with polish remover each and every time prior to the next application? Of all the vids that I have watched,that key thing is never pointed out.
She’s she removes ALL OF IT and starts fresh every 7 days or just keep adding a top coat till she’s ready to take her manicure off and start fresh again

My nails are very weak.. Every time i try to grow them out.. they last a week and then one or more will break off. I don't have the time to watch out and prevent breaking nails. so i wear fake ones.
Use coconut oil
put a generous amount of a clear top coat
+Nami Swan on top of them which helps with the strength
Stop wearing fake nails, you're making them weaker. I use Sally Hansen's Maximum Growth clear polish. And whenever u take off ur polish wash ur hands right away (acetone is pretty drying). And then put lotion on if u don't wanna wait for cuticle oils to dry. I use Aveeno, since it's very moisturizing and it has oatmeal which is also beneficial. Finally, apply the Sally Hansen Maximum Growth a thin coat if u want it to dry fast and then use light polish (nude, baby pinks, white; it just helps prevent discoloration; get the insta- dri ones from Sally Hansen). I also don't have much time to do these routines but the one I just shared to you doesn't take long to do.

Search this on UA-cam: farahdhukai grow long and strong nails . It's a mixture she creates that will strengthen your nails, make them grow longer as well. I haven't tried it but I think it would work because the protein in the egg and milk might strengthen your nails, cause your nails need protein to be strong and healthy. Also maybe if you don't eat enough healthy foods, or foods with a lot of good protein, try eating some. Sorry for the long response but try it! Hope this helped! :)
Alisa Lopez There is so much wrong with just showing people a video of her nail growth and pretending like this will work for everyone. Lots of people will need changes to their diet, adding cuticle oil constantly isn't really enough unless you have naturally strong and well-shaped nails. Try to eat more healthy fats like nuts & avocado, make sure you're getting exercise, and cut down sodium. Take biotin supplements labeled "for nails, skin & hair" that you can find at the drugstore, and make sure to drink lots of water. These things will help, but I'm like you - I actually do things and so my nails break. If you coat them with a thin layer of acrylic or gel it will help to keep that strength in the free edge and keep it from breaking off. Good luck!
Xochitl Davalos Applying milk protein to the skin or nail itself won't do anything. The nail is formed from inside the body, so you need to nourish it through diet like you said.

I decided to grow my nails 100% naturally and FREE over a 6 week period before I went back to school, They are very long and extremely strong. I don`t use oils or any nail products. They started improving in growth and strength when I started applying an athletes foot cream to my hands because I had ALOT of peeling skin on them. I would recommend this. they improved greatly after about 5 days, and if you have peeling skin and dead skin around the cuticle then it`s perfect for it. Cured

Thank you sooo much for posting this, my nails have not been this strong & healthy since I was a teen!!! I chose to use almond oil and I did invest in OPI Nail Envy, which is pricey, but I thought if I was going to make the commitment. I started the regime at the end of June, and six weeks later my nails are amazing and so are my cuticles, which always looked dry. Thank you, thank you, I can't say it enough!

Music Lover playing basketball with long nails is not only really difficult and sometimes painful, it also scratches the opposition by accident. When I used to play basketball they used to have nail clippers behind the bench and the ref would check the nails to make sure they’re clipped. They didn’t do it often but when someone gets a nasty scratch they make us all show them the nails and clip them if they don’t meet standard.

Massage the top of the tips of the fingers (where the nail grows out of the finger) daily with some lotion/(cuticle)oil, just while watching TV or waiting for the bus or whatever. By doing this you stimulate bloodflow to the matrix of the nail, where the nail is formed. This is the ONLY way to make your nails grow faster. Don't waste your money buying 'nail growth' products. Nothing you apply on the nail bed, on the cuticle, or soak your fingers in will improve the rate of growth of your nail. It is the action of massaging that stimulates the nail growth, using an oil while doing it keeps the cuticles soft and nice-looking.

Exactly:) I will 2nd everything said, I am a nail tech too. It breaks my heart seeing how people get ripped off buying 'nail growth' products because they will not help. Also, it has to be said that people must understand that every ones nails grow at different rates but as already mentioned, if you keep up daily massages of the matrix area and encourage blood flow, you will find it helps a lot with nail growth.

I gather the split is starting at the free edge (end of the nail at tip of finger) and going back up into the nail. The best thing to do is keep the nail/s as short as possible to avoid them getting caught on things and depending on how long and deep the split is, you can apply a few coats of clear top coat for protection and replace every few days or go to salon and have thin layer of acrylic or gel applied for protection and this will help while it grows out. Do not use the split nail as a tool and as mentioned before, massage the matrix area a lot with lotion/oil to encourage growth. Keep doing all this until the split has grown out fully. Ensure you keep area clean also, keep a close eye on it if you decide to put a protective layer over the top, if you see chips etc in protective layers, replace straight away to avoid any infection issues.
U see I have a line that's starting from the bottom of my nail to the tip of my finger and when my nail starts getting long the nail begins to split its been over 6 months now

Ohhh ok, well if this is the case I suggest going to a good quality (not a nail bar style) salon who has a fully trained tech and talk to them. If you were my client I would put a clear "natural nail overlay" on this nail for protection while it grows out and keep it very short. Did you damage your nail/matrix at any time 6 months ago? Did you slam it in a door etc maybe? Sadly, if the Matrix gets severley damaged and the shape of the Matrix gets damaged enough, this is the way the nail can/will grow forever. Go to tools:glass nail file ,cuticle oil (applied three times each day ) OPI Nail Envy Strengthener ,and gently pushing my cuticles back( which is the sticky stuff on your nail bed

How do you avoid your nails from curling at the tips? Not sure how its called but the bottom of my nail starts to curve like a taco so they never look nice and squared like yours D:
Nails curl at the edges because they are dry from lack of moisture. If you moisturize regularly with a good quality nail and cuticle oil (I recommend Bliss Kiss Simply Pure Nail Oil! It completely changed my nails for the better!) then the curling will disappear. Good luck! :)
Mine don't curve either. It just depends on your nail chemistry. My nails are pretty flat, so they don't curve even when they're dry and brittle, but if your nails are naturally more curvy, then if they are dry they can curl like tacos, as TiFFerzZehNiNjA said!

I read somewhere that if they curve upwards (away from fingertip) it could be from lack of iron. however, if they curve downwards or towards your fingertip I'm fairly certain it's just nail chemistry

+Radhika singhani yeah apply oil minimum of two times a day but you can totally do it more than twice. I massage my nail twice a day but more so in the winter. I use pure coconut oil.

ppl with long nail beds can easily grow their nails mine is effed up so this don't work for me they grow a bit then they snap off no matter how much I take care of them
It can just care for your cuticles more. I had booty digger and they grew like her in a month. Follow my instagram @adrasticmixture. I'm a nail tech and tie nails have to attach back to the skin and reform itself. You can do it
