I will say that this routine has helped my nails extremely. I've been getting my nails done for over 20 years. I could never get them to look nice naturally. Everyone who has ever done my nails has always said that there's no way my nails will be long without the acrylic/gel overlay. After doing this routine for a couple of months, my nails are longer, strong and have never broken. Thank you!

Thank you. I have been following your videos. And have managed to get my nails grow naturally to great lenght. I have never had my nails so long in 50 yrs! I use only jojoba oil though. This seems to work for me. Thank you so much again for your tips.

I just had to come back to your video to tell you this, I watched your video a couple of months ago for the first time, and at that time my nails were in horrible condition, I had just removed my gel nails and my natural nails were so so so weak, and from previous experience with this I know that after having gel nails it will literally take me several months before my nails start acting normal, and even then they are not the thickest nails in the world.. they are normally thin so they break easy. Anyway I decided to try your tips and started doing them every Sunday, and I'm SO happy I did because my nails are in even better condition than in their own normal state haha, my nails have all grown and are strong and look very healthy !! :D So thank you SOOOOO much for sharing your tips, they are the best and I will continue keeping this routine forever

I'm with you on that! If you break away from the routine, you're more likely to break a nail. I personally also have naturally thin and brittle nails that used to snap off for no good reason, BUT, I've learned to keep them protected and very well moisturized at all times. Seriously, if I don't stay ON IT EVERY DAY, my nails become very vulnerable! When I paint my nails, I don't feel right unless I have two coats of base coat under my two to three coats of polish and one to two coats of top coat! Thank GOD for fast drying top coats! I haven't tried the daily application of top coat for the first three days, but, I think I will start:). Your nails, and YOU are absolutely gorgeous! Thank you for sharing!! XOXOXO

Your tips are very clear and make a lot of sense. I'm definitely going to follow your routine and cross my fingers that it helps. My nails are awful due to prescribed medications that I have to take for a permanent illness. Thank you so much. I have tried several so called cuticle oils before but some of them actually made my nails thin and weak, But when you said just use any oil it doesn't matter, I went to the kitchen and grabbed the Olive Oil and I have been very happy with the results. I think its the best results I've ever had. I follow up with Calcium gel, apply oil 2-3 times a day, and can see a huge difference with my nails. I'm very pleased with just plain old Olive Oil. It works for me for a month now. Excited to see what my nails will look like in 3 months. Thank you.

Great Video! Our nails are about the same length maybe mine a lil longer due to no filing down right now. I want to thank you for having your videos on UA-cam and actually being very truthful in what our fingernails need. . I've never done a UA-cam video because I would do the same routine as you and I respect that and every way on how you do your nails and videos!! I keep my nails natural I don't paint them other than clear coat ,base coat, top coat , but the nail care routine ,the oils every single thing that you say and do I truly believe in so I would be going and doing something for nothing because I always refer to you when people ask me what I do I just tell them to watch your videos. Your very enjoyable to watch, you explain things and how-to's so everyone gets it and understands why we should do it that way. Then come the results, which i would hope, your viewers share how their nails respond to your nail regimen. I do have a question. Its me being nosy. Our nails love the oils and respond well to your technique. Have people replied to you , sent pics or any other type if social media about their nails and/ or growth of them? Im so interested. My name is Michelle

I always check out everyone's advice on growing your nails because although I have had long nails since I FINALLY quit biting them in 84, you can always learn something new.
I agree with you on almost every thing but I don't know if most of us are going to lug gloves around LOL. Oh we SAY we should but... Because some of us know we won't do it I think the best way to prevent some of the most common breaks is to round off the tips just a little. If you are going to be extremely careful and wear the gloves etc maybe you can get away with the square shape but I know I can't.
I love your foamy nail spa! THAT was a new idea and I would only add that if you have nails that peel or tend to be very dry you might want to do that only once a month. Vinegar is an acid and is going to be drying to fragile nails. Having said that IF you do apply oils or lotions (believe me that gets easier with age because you begin to NEED to moisturize every few hours IF you want to bend your fingers, they get so dry and tight you wonder sometimes!) at least 3x a day AND massage it especially into the skin below the nail, between the nail and the first knuckle (that is the area where the nail matrix is, where new nail is forming before it appears on the nail bed) the newly growing nail will be a little healthier and hopefully less fragile.
The only other thing I've always done but I wasn't sure you covered was painting the complete underside of the nail. I usually use the same top coat, a matte for a more "natural" look or a coordinating or contrasting color. Sure it can add to the look of the mani but most importantly it "seals" the nail from its mortal enemy, water. I know that you mentioned being sure to coat the tip but I don't know if you said you painted the underside.
Thanks for the new "nail spa" idea! Just proves that you CAN teach old dogs new tricks! Lol

Wow! What great information! I've learned a few things :)
It's good to see that you use Almond oil too. It's the second lightest oil and is easily absorbed.
I'd seen a video about putting oil on polish to make it dry faster and girl---it works great!!! Once you're done with your design, put a less expensive clear topcoat on, (I use Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear) and wait for about 5 minutes. Pour a dime sized amount of oil on your palm and LIGHTLY rub it on your hands, nails and cuticles. Doing this makes my mani last for a full week! My hands are constantly exposed to water, washing my hands up to 15 times a day!!!
I used to use Seche-Vite, (and I pronounced it the same way you did) but now I use a healthier alternative with almond oil! Give it a try, I'm sure you'll love it too.
    I LOVE THIS CHANNEL!!!

Hi Raquel! Thank you so much for sharing! I've had dry, cracked and flaky skin around my cuticles for the past 10 years due to prescription drugs. Tried almost everything, and nothing worked. I tried the almond oil you recommended and within a day started seeing results. THANK YOU!

Thanks ! This video just confirmed that I am on right path. I am using few times a day olive oil hand cream with such a massage for my poor nails. After a week they getting harder and longer. When is time to apply polish, I never wash my hands to leave the absorbed cream on nail plate for protection.

My grandma taught me a similar solution, and I've used it off and on for twenty years.
    - Vinegar is an acid and will weaken your nails if used too often. Once a week is enough.
    - White distilled vinegar counters discoloration caused by certain polishes.
    - The solution is good for two or three minutes after it stops fizzing, then it stops working.
The only difference is we use generic mineral oil because it's cheap. If you have superthin nails, use Mane 'N Tail Hoofmaker for horses.
