Hey man I liked the video do you think the nomed is strong enough to make the drone work better in urban areas if where there is a lot more interference a lot of interference
That's pretty much the idea of it. There's going to places where 2.4 or 900 is dodgy, but where the other frequency can get trhough. That, coupled with the diversity antenna on both frequencies gives you the best chance possible in bad RF areas
ELRS looks great and is tempting but I just have so many things running crossfire and crossfire has been amazing for me through the years. I also love getting a new quad set up and upon first connection to the RX it updates the firmware right away with no connection to a PC or anything. I’ll likely just stick with crossfire until I can’t get RX’s anymore or there is some killer new must have feature then I’ll move to ELRS.
Nothing wrong with Crossfire - ELRS lifted the CRSF protocol from them, so it's not like it's bad or anything :) There certainly seems to be more development with ELRS, but when you already have a whole fleet on one system you can;t find an issue with I can understand why you'd stay with it.
@@CurryKitten True. I do like the progress of ELRS and the new Nomad module being capable of 2.4ghz and 915mhz. That’s pretty awesome especially using four simultaneous streams on one receiver.
Absolutely incredible!!! ELRS and being open source to companies like RadioMaster is such a beautiful thing for our DIY hobby! Cheers CurryKitten!
Couldn't agree more!
Awesome overview, Wayne! 😃
Looking forward to the test flights!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Keep up the good work ❤
Excellent
This is truly amazing! Is there anywhere left to develop RC links? This seems like ELRS Devs mic drop moment and I love it!
More like bomb drop, but I agree!
Appears everyone got these to try as there are so many videos about it on YT , just today
Yes - some manufacturers may ask that video don't get published before a certain day/time so as a result you get a bunch all pop up at once.
