@@alicesewnsew2413 This is the sort of sibling all of us wish we had, I think. My little sister is 13 years younger than me, literally born on my birthday & she's always been more like my daughter than our parents child.
It's a long story best summarized as older parents getting a big surprise later in life when they were already about ready to start spoiling grandchildren. Our parents are gone now & she lives about five hours away with her fiance. I'm always worried about that girl.
She has a terrible knack for self-sabotage, getting involved with the wrong sort & acts far too often before she thinks things through. Gotta love her though, she's my only sibling & last blood relation (besides my children) I have a meaningful relationship with.

My heart breaks for Max. Losing a sibling is living hell I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I lost my older brother Sean in a motorcycle crash back in 2011, just two weeks before his college graduation. It’s been almost 12 years since he died, and not a day goes by where I don’t miss him and think of him. And I love him endlessly. Your siblings are the ones you expect to grow old alongside. When you lose a sibling, you lose your past, present and future. Losing mine in a motorcycle crash was traumatic in it’s own right. But I honestly don’t think I would’ve been able to cope if he had been murdered.

I don't know about that. She seemed too dependent on him. She would prefer to hang around his friends instead of having her own. I raised two kids four years apart. My youngest loved his brother so much he used to draw him all the time and he would draw him bigger than my husband or me. When the eldest became a teenager my youngest son started to feel jealous and that's when I intervened making him understand that although his brother loved him all the same he was going through some changes and he needed his space. I explained that he needed to find his own friends because he was gonna need then for when he himself bacame a teenager. I made sure though to remind my oldest son who his brother was and to spend quality time with him every week. They grew up to be a pair of good and healthy young men. You as a parent are obliged to look after them, to see the signs and to deal with their problems, to make them feel that they can open up to you, confide in you, understand the situation and look for healthy solutions. Problems just don't go away.

As someone who does not have a close relationship with my brother and never did I still do not think the way they describe their relationship is off at all - I think that being close with your family and feeling like your sibling is your friend is a positive thing and only a reflection of a healthy family dynamic. It just seems like her and her brother we're good friends and got along well and trusted each other I think that's a beautiful thing that I wish I had with my brother. I feel like because of the overwhelming amount of people with unhealthy family dynamics people really have a hard time conceptualizing the reality of actually enjoying someone who is a family member that much and not having to be weird or incestual. Also if you can imagine someone who possibly struggles with mental health issues - who has always been close to their sibling... I would assume her brother has been a big support system for her, someone who she could always turn to someone who always had her back, someone who she always knew if things got rough she could turn to or would be there to help her out. I imagine him moving away could definitely have a negative effect on her emotionally and possibly make her vulnerable looking to other people for support who are not healthy for her. If anything I have an overwhelming amount of respect for her brother and a whole lot of admiration for the relationship they had. My own brother put my life at risk before putting his hands on me and making me fear for my life, I think it sounds absolutely beautiful to have someone who is your blood sibling care about you so much.

@@kjgrjugcnr4513 Methadone as well as Suboxone/Buprenorphine. Sorry, just wanted to add that in but I absolutely agree. And also just to add, a lot of those suffering from opioid addiction are shunned and discouraged from medications like Methadone or Suboxone because of this deceptive statement of "it's just trading one addiction for another." First, people need to learn the difference between physical dependence and substance abuse addiction. They are 2 very different things. You can be physically dependent upon a medication without abusing it and without obtaining a euphoria/high from it. If you're using either of these medications correctly, you will not be high on it.
Instead, many of those suffering from opioid addiction are wrongly steered towards things like NA or AA, which, if you look up success rates, are possibly as low as 2% or more. There are good aspects of this program, but it's not a substitute for true medical treatment, please remember this, folks.
Methadone and Suboxone both save lives. Look up latest scientific research on addiction, specifically opioid addiction before making recommendations and passing judgments on your loved ones, who's last day could be today, given the state of the opioid crisis as it is today (Fentanyl, other very strong and highly dangerous and cheap narcotics being put into the "heroin" today that are killing people.)
Sorry, don't mean to be rude, just wanted to piggy back onto your comment because opioid addiction really is killing our loved ones and we all should be doing so much more about it instead of shaming people. This is such a shame for us as a society.

The withdrawal is a feeling and a severe pain indescribable that you dont understand unless you go through it. It's time to bring back "drawing and quartering" as a punishment. It's not cruel and unusual punishment to take a murderer's life this way because they'd be aware that this would be the punishment for killing an innocent person BEFORE they committed the barbaric, cruel act. And knowing that this was the result, they'd have the opportunity to reconsider having their life taken in such a barbaric way.
Murdering an innocent is what should be considered cruel and unusual punishment. The killer made a CHOICE that resulted in their punishment. Period. The victim had no choice and lost everything. And the fear and regret in their last moments would likely be the most profoundly horrifying feeling that somebody could ever feel. To have no control or any say in one's life ending and to never see one's loved one's again...it does not get more tragic. I dare say that would be more brutal than the impending act of violence committed against them. The demolishing of their emotional being seconds before the end of their physical being is too terrible to consider, in my opinion. And so, to tear the killer's body, limb from limb, literally is not cruel, nor unusual. If we made that the rule of thumb, I suspect in a short span of time, the murder rate would subside greatly. Televise it. I know that I would only have to witness this form of death sentence one time to be completely free of any possible consideration that I'd commit murder against anybody.

The only ones who would willingly butcher someone would be serial killers and lunatics. Besides which, there's no evidence that capital punishment acts as a deterrent but plenty of evidence it doesn't, the huge number of inmates on death row being the most obvious.

This is heartbreaking. I too had gone through heroin addiction around the same age as her. I really wish she could of not had people hurt her. She seemed like a good hearted person who just had to overcome the addiction. It's really such a difficult situation because the withdrawals are so unbelievably difficult and it just makes even the strongest willed people have the hardest time and I really hope we can find a way to get better support for these people who are good people but got stuck in the physical addiction that heroin causes. I really relate to this one because I grew up never being a trouble maker and it just was a shock that it came about and even when I was using I wasn't a trouble maker, I was just stuck in the physical parts of it but I didn't want to be a bad person. I just had to stop using and I finally overcame it but it was one of the most difficult things that I have ever gone through and it went on for months before I even remotely started feeling semi okay and not just dying. But now I'm 8yrs clean and I wish this guy didn't hurt this girl because she could of gotten through it too. She had a loving family and that's very important. It helps so much. • @benmcreynolds8581

@@leahflower9924 it's easy to frame it in that manner. Trust me I was such a goody goody and told myself I would never do drugs especially hard drugs. But at 20yrs old I was drinking occasionally and randomly I had a girl talk me into trying ecstasy. I had never experienced anything of that nature before. It was in a way profound because it felt like it helped me over come some mental trauma's BUT later on I came home to my apartment and my roommate was experimenting with heroin and I initially was so pissed. But idk how, since I was drunk and on ecstacy I somehow let my boundaries down and agreed to "just try it" it was the dumbest thing I ever did because I underestimated how much I would have a hard time controlling myself about it because It made me feel good, I stayed active, I mixed it into my life and I totally underestimated how horrid the physical withdrawals were. I convinced myself that if I can control how mentally I get hooked then I can just stop when I want. It's the total opposite. You can be completely not mentally addicted but it doesn't matter at all. Your body is so physically reliant on it that you feel like you're dying and having your muscles ripped off your bones and you don't realize that is how it's going to be until it's too late. Seriously, you can try all you want to describe it but it really is a thing that just happens and you learn the hard way, in the hardest way possible and most people don't come out of that honestly and it's really sad. I hope they can find a way to help people with this problem get clean in a new way because 100% it's the part you can't control that effects everyone from success. It's the how sick and debilitated you get. For months. It took me like 3 months of being so sick, before I could even attempt to walk around the block, and when I tried I made it only part way before just dying, sitting down and just feeling so weak, winded, my blood pressure was dropping then going up, heart rate up and down.. sweats, hot cold, muscle aches... And this was months into quitting. It literally took the most internal mental will power. Yes it was physical but it took so much mental energy to overcome that. I literally felt like I died and was coming back to get a 2nd chance at life and it definitely made me so much more grateful for everything I once overlooked. Not anymore. I appreciate freaking everything nowadays. It's worth pushing through because if you can have a moment in your life you go through experimenting or something, and then can come out the other side, you really can make the best of life without all that, it can just be a chapter of your life's experience. It doesn't need to be a part of you forever. It can just be a thing that evolved you because you sometimes have to learn the hard way. At least some people are like that. Just trying to make the best out of bad situation because there's no point in not because then you can convert that energy into bettering your life now. Now 8 yrs sober. I'm pretty content. I don't even have to think about it anymore, im totally content with my self control and will power and I've gained a ton of trust in myself. The answers are and were within you the whole time anyways, you just have to learn to look at things the right way. Best of love to everyone ❤️

Absolutely believe that dad would himself kill Waide if Justice wasn't served . Honestly the dad is a damn good man which is also why his son is a good man . Such a sad story truly . Her addiction def clouded her thought process and she was around true evil . I wish the family much care in their grief process and good things in life forward .

Interesting but sad story. I wonder how he planned on leading police to her body if he dumped her in a Dumpster and she would have ended up in a landfill that he had no specific knowledge of. Also, he should have gotten life. I didn't hear any changes in his charges even though he couldn't lead them to her body.

I remember watching the interview with her brother (at the park were they had met under the guise of tarot reading). I don't think Chris's 'recollections' of what transpired that night are all lies. He clearly took advantage of the fact that she was an addict, knowing she'd most likely do whatever for some cash. Yet, never had any intention of giving her any. Add his unhealthy obsessions to the mix and you have a murder. She might've unintentionally, helped put away a future sk,rpist, and/or Cp distributor for good.Sad case.

    • @MrRyan-wu4jx

It honestly probably wasn’t the best idea to force him to confess while threatening violence. A confession made under durress like that would be worthless in any court and could’ve hurt the case. I understand why he did it though.

    • @MovingToToledo
      @MovingToToledo 2 роки тому

@@MrRyan-wu4jx it wasn't made under duress. Violence was used after it was admitted. Max could be charged with assault but the confession should still stick.
