I don't want a remake, I want a reimagination, at least in terms of story. This song gives memories of summer 2020(that’s when I got the game). Grinding to build super units with this relaxing music is something I picture near perfectly. It’s a shame that first grade me thought this game was too lame in 2013. I missed out
Man, I thought I was kind of an odd one out because I, too, only just got the game in Summer 2020, 8 years late, haha. Somehow I'm already super nostalgic for something that only happened a couple months ago-
as someone who has played the game a bit further ago than that, i can say that awakening definitely has nostalgic vibes to it, regardless of how recent you’ve played it :3
Those summers, how I yearn to go back to them. The magic embrace of childhood encapsulated every moment of your existence. Young, free, innocent yet adventurous in mind and spirit. Staying at your grandparents, comfortable on your sofa, the sun and fresh sky beaming through the windows, as you lose yourself in the world of the 3DS. Today, you are playing the demo for Fire Emblem: Aweakening. Life is good, life is warm.
this fire emblem is the game i bought with my 3DS and the novelty of 3D is now burned into my memory with this song i've used this song as a background for some places in fire emblem heroes too so i'll remember it sometimes
This is my go-to FOCUS song. In DLC maps I always used it. In streetpass, I used it. In paralogues, I used it. It became my #1 "pay the **** attention" song and always kept me calm but driven. Even though it has appeared in other games past Awakening, they have always been arrangements, and I've never gotten the same vibe from them. Awakening was a true gem of a game.
I have yet to play this game. I’m a collector and I’ve played other FE games (Blazing Blade was my first, then played Three Houses, Path of Radiance, and Radiant Dawn, with the latter two being my favorites so far), so I went out of my way to secure a copy of this game last year. This specific song gets stuck in my head from time to time, and it hits so hard hearing the main theme in such an emotional and melancholic way. This series didn’t know its future and was preparing for the end. Without context of the actual game, that is PRECISELY the vibe that this song gives off. Video game compositions are truly something beautiful. I should get around to playing it soon. I’ll update here once it has for anyone reading this.

It wasn't until 2014 when I really got into it, but when I first heard this music, it really made me nostalgic even back then. It made me wonder why this game was just... so good! I adored the characters, and the story was genuinely moving, especially with Chrom and Lucina. The plot twist with Robin actually took me by surprise. Even the villains were memorable, for the most part. Just man... listening to this is wild. I can't believe it's been 10 years already. It's such a wonderful game that deserves either a sequel or a remake. This music has stuck with me since then, and honestly I'd say it sums uo how fire emblem as a whole makes me feel. I haven't been to into it such Fates, but I still keep track of the franchise, hoping that perhaps sooner or later, I'll hear talk of a sequel or remake.
I remember a video like this with over 100k views. I listened to that video when I was studying in highschool several years ago. I had never even played fire emblem but I vaguely knew what the games were. Everything was so easy back then. Life wasn't good, but it was worth living. I would listen to this for hours not getting tired of it. Thanks for letting me remember that. Thank you.

The year was 2014.. It was a warm summer school night my Junior year of highschool. I had just recruited Donnel and a Risen map had appeared at Regna Ferox on the Overworld map. I started the map.. The faint cheer of the crowds.. The beat of the bongos followed by the strings in the background and the looped melody of the flute.. Emotions of melancholy and a warm feeling of solace swept me away instantly.. I can't believe a decade has passed since this game was released. It all feels so distant from my days as a depressed teenager, using this game as a highlight of each miserable day. Now im on a break from work having graduated from university, moved on with my life, and reminiscing on how far those bad old days feel from the person I am now. My 3DS crapped out a long time ago but I think I want to try to find an emulator or at least re-watch the support convos like I used to.
takes me back to not having a 3DS going on my IPAD and watching a playthrough of "the game lucina is from" only to become a massive fire emblem fan for the next 10 years man where has the time gone.
6 years ago September, playing Awakening instead of doing homework for Senior year of high school. How that time flew, September became October, then November, and soon...
it's so weird to me that I get the most nostalgia from this game, without it even being my first FE. I played Radiant Dawn when I was 7 and this one when I was 14 yet I remember such a unique vibe when I was playing it. Summer 2014, 3ds under my covers, playing it all night to get the most optimal Galeforce pairings and seeing which dad gave everyone the best hair. I'm really aware of this game's flaws but...I just really love it. It's probably my favorite FE game even if I think the maps are boring. The characters are so fun. The music is so good. Just the aesthetic of it all is so nice and makes you feel safe. I only bought FE Conquest because Owain/Inigo/Severa came back! I'm glad everyone here is reminiscing about this game and it's nice it seems we all feel the same way.
This song is a good song to play when its very gloomy and theirs a lot of dark grey clouds outside and this song is also a good on to play when its raining outside
Hearing this reminds me of a very hot summer day in 2015 and playing this game. I borrowed it from my sister and knew nothing about Fire Emblem. I just remember this song, the feeling of laying in my bed covered in sweat from a 114F day and feeling the night breeze finally drafting through my window.
This may sound odd, but this makes me think of family, but at the same time, it makes me think of a long journey towards a distant goal. It starts to really fit if you think about it with Chrom & Robin married. Like, they have family waiting at home, but must push forward, knowing they have eachother & the other Shepherds.
Can i just say, its been forever listening to this song, like coming back to an old friend and all the warm memories coming to you. I had this in high school, when a lot of personal realizations were happening (rip no M!Chrobin lmao) but now I'm going on to hopefully law school, and i realize how much time has flown. Gone are the days of fighting 5 paged reports for my high school teachers, now its making personal statements and trying to make the world a better place like we're trying for Lucina. Anyway, thanks for having the song up, i cant help but reflect on how much time has changed me. I lost this game around 2018 and my boyfriend bought the game for me again christmas last year. Wasnt able to buy the DLC before the Eshop closure but having the game itself is all I've wanted. I can't wait to go on another adventure with the Shepherds!
Sometimes I come back here just to remember what it was like to be there. This image paired with that music never fails to transport me back to Ylisse, with the Shepherds and everyone on an adventure to save their kingdom. Even though I was never really there, the emotions still feel real.
I remember playing Fire Emblem Awakening back when I was grade 7. I have not finished it and stopped at chapter 15. But this song, it stuck to me. I dunno like at some point in the battle I just stopped and was like "Damn this good. ". Great game, wanna finish it some day.
You know, Shadows of Valentia may be my favourite Fire Emblem game as far as story goes... but there's something about Awakening that's just... special. I can't put it into words, but there's something there that always brings me a warm and comforting feeling. This song always brings me back to late nights on the sofa during 2020 just... losing myself in the fantasy world of Ylisse. There, I wasn't lonely. There, I had friends to fight for. I felt like I had to save Chrom, save Robin, save the future our daughter was from. Gah, I know what I'm doing tonight.
HAAAAA LOVE THIS. I remember when awakening came out when I was in middle school. I could not afford until i graduated highschool. I noe have the chance to play it but I do not have the time like i used to as an adult.

I met Noire last month in Jackson Mississippi. I bought a special print of Noire for her to sign since she didn't have a print of her. I got a good official photo of her online, AI upscaled it (It was made in 2012-2013, it was low quality asf) and ordered it on premium poster material from Amazon. Having Michelle (Noire) sign it and meet her in general was special not only to me because of Noire being my favorite child character, but because of what Fire Emblem Awakening means to me. Rarely does nostalgia hit me with a game, but this is one of them. I remember when I played it in 2015. So much life since then. So much I've done and so far I've gone. So many I've lost and so many I've gained. Don't care what anyone says, this game's amazing!
The music goes so well with that wallpaper. Its just like how I would describe this music.

This game right here, was truly special. The game to get me into the series.
same, this and Fates, absolute masterpieces
@@E_lisa_a my beloveds. I have to replay them sometime soon🥹
This amazing track and game are 10 years old… Damn how much time went by
This game is so special to me. It will always have a special place in my heart
A picture of Chrom and Robin..what a beautiful image.
takes me back to not having a 3DS going on my IPAD and watching a playthrough of "the game lucina is from" only to become a massive fire emblem fan for the next 10 years man where has the time gone.
I really need to play this game again. It was my first Fire Emblem game, and by far it is still my favorite
Pure nostalgia. But as the stars shoot on, our lives do too. This can be a happy thing as well~~
6 years ago September, playing Awakening instead of doing homework for Senior year of high school. How that time flew, September became October, then November, and soon...
10 years of awakening.
listenning to this as I read the rules of this new Fire Emblem boardgame I bought......Can't wait to play it :)
it's so weird to me that I get the most nostalgia from this game, without it even being my first FE.
Best song hands down and it plays during grinding.
This song, it brings back so many memories
The soft, almost melancholic vibes this track has would have an entirely different meaning if Awakening didn't save the franchise the way it did.
the only home menu track in feh that i never get tired of
Excellent song
I was in eighth grade when this came out holy moly bruh time flies
Lol I was like 11?
I was four LOL
I love this song, I've been studying to it for the last 4 years. Its gotten me through college and into my internship at a big tech company.
This song is a good song to play when its very gloomy and theirs a lot of dark grey clouds outside and this song is also a good on to play when its raining outside
this music contrasts the enemies in lunatic reeking box battles
Oh yes, i remember this song so well... grinding for hours and hours... and hours for all the supports. No regrets
NormL mode
Hearing this reminds me of a very hot summer day in 2015 and playing this game. I borrowed it from my sister and knew nothing about Fire Emblem. I just remember this song, the feeling of laying in my bed covered in sweat from a 114F day and feeling the night breeze finally drafting through my window.
This may sound odd, but this makes me think of family, but at the same time, it makes me think of a long journey towards a distant goal.
It starts to really fit if you think about it with Chrom & Robin married. Like, they have family waiting at home, but must push forward, knowing they have eachother & the other Shepherds.
yes
Jesus how time flies.
Man I played this game like 30+ times like 9 years ago and im not even exaggerating. It's just that good.
Sometimes I come back here just to remember what it was like to be there.
This image paired with that music never fails to transport me back to Ylisse, with the Shepherds and everyone on an adventure to save their kingdom.
Even though I was never really there, the emotions still feel real.
This theme makes me feel super melancholic, but in a positive way.
I like how 10% of people (including me) only see this ost as critical adventure
I see Biboo among your favorite channels.
Nice.
I may have many issues with awakening but the music will forever be great
this song is legend and very critical
I noe have the chance to play it but I do not have the time like i used to as an adult.
el primer fire emblem que juge, cuando escuche ese tema por primera ves fue como una briza de aire fresco a la cara, como paz instantanea. fue facil la mision pero recuerdo que el ultimo turno lo hice durar 30 min solo para escuchar la cancion xd

Proud of you man. :)
There’s no reason for me to be proud of this. I’m merely making a good song more easily listenable in long form
Damn, I came here to search a music for my writing session... guess I'll play Fire Emblem again !
W
This "goes hard" as my good friend would say
This game's 10th anniversary is coming up. I didn't think this music would be so nostalgic way back when.
my fucking god this music is just to gets better and better ever time I hear it
Everytime
The first time I ever heard this is when my friend invited me to an rpg game called “Critical Legends”
Finally I found the song
Not only does this theme remind me of chrom and the Shepherds but it also reminds me of marth roy and the rest of the dlc characters
Can't believe they predicted Fates
I have this song in fire emblem heroes so i can hear it every day ✨
Beautiful music. ❤
Good song to play when on Minecraft.
love this soundtrack so much
I met Noire last month in Jackson Mississippi.
Algún hispanohablante?? xdxd esta rola la amo, super relajante
Toda una obra maestra
Sin duda viejo, la wea wena
Está buena, aunque aún no juego Awakate
