Absolutely my favorite track in the game. Took the liberty of finding the in-game name. In the Record Hall or the Castle Music Option, the song is named "Road Taken" in case anyone wishes to change their castle home theme to this. (I believe at least one path needs to be completed to unlock, but don't quote me on that)
This is one of my favorite Soundtracks...What a such beautiful music, as always since the release of the first Fire Emblem in 1990 I will soon be able to download Fire Emblem Fates: Revelation on my Nintendo 2DS...All I need is a 50 Euro Nintendo eShop card so I can download the game and the HOME Menu Theme Fire Emblem Fates: Two Kingdoms Edit: I got the HOME Menu Theme, and I also downloaded the game. Finally, I have Revelations! Yay! :)
@@ChacoParraco I loved the Path, despite the story not being 100% perfect (but it is still great). I am happy that Hoshido and Nohr are at peace at the end of the Route/Path. I am still playing the game as I desire to unlock the children.
I’m currently playing Fates for the first time, Birthright. The way Nohr is portrayed, I am really curious to find out how Conquest will justify Nohr’s actions lmao. While I can see the criticisms of fans, I do think this game is so much fun to play, the Hoshidan classes are obviously based on known FE classes, but they’re so unique in design, weapon choice and name, that I love to see what they evolve into. Felicia is an utter sweetheart for leaving Nohr, purely because she’s so loyal to Corrin. A shame Gunter didn’t come along. I just had to kill Keaton and that was truly so upsetting, I am already dreading having to fight my favorites Subaki, Azama, Sakura, Takumi and Orochi when I inevitably play Conquest. Sorry, this comment got kind of long and isn’t terribly interesting. It’s just that I don’t have many friends that like Fire Emblem, so I can’t vent all my feelings towards them lmao.
As a music critic I know this is a good song because I never played the game. Let's see. Best part is this transition back to the main verse: 2:29 - 2 :45 Some other recommended music: _Passing Through the Forest_ - Threads of Fate _Leftovers of the Dreams of the Strong_ - Xenogears _Meeting the Maidens_ - A Link to the Past _Village of the Elw_ - Wild Arms
Ever since I got this song, I play it for almost anything: Walking home from class as the Sun sets, about to take a big exam or do something large in a lab class, going to the gym, etc.... Everything just has that 'calm before the storm' sensation, and this song perfectly goes along with my thought processes for everything I need to prepare for.
When this song came on as I tried my first challenge battle, the motif at 0:30 sounded so familiar. I was wracking my brain for about 30 minutes before I realized where I'd heard it before: 7th Dragon III! It is the same motif as the one used in the main theme music of 7th Dragon III. Probably not intentional on the part of the musician, but I'm glad it is there. It's a beautiful chord progression.
Wow, its been almost ten years, and it's 2024. While I preferred Awakening's story and cast, I have replayed Revelations more than any other FE game, and it all released at such a bright time in my life. Supposedly the translations were at times rough, but the customization of your party had truly reached an apex for this one, and the music was breathtaking and tearjerking (this track especially holds the spotlight.) Fire Emblem would never feel the same way after this. "Even the thorn in your heart, In time it may become a rose."
0:00 - 0:30 reminds me of another song, but uses a piano instead of flutes/violins or whatever the airy-sounding instrument is. I wish I remembered what song it was...
Currently playing through Birthright. The games do an amazing job of selling their respective narratives. Playing on the side of Hoshido, I have no idea how the story will look from the Nohrian perspective, which makes me all the more excited to play Conquest. How Azura fits into it I wonder though...
+Tyler James (tjames6996) I'm actually playing through Conquest right now. It's pretty good, but it is very tough at times, mostly because there is no way to raise your units for the tougher enemy placement and Azura's part in the story is very important. Though, I am very interested in playing the Hoshido side and learning more of there characters.
+alucard2893 YES, glad I wasn't the only one that thought this. This one totally reminded me of the Zanarkand Ruins theme. All them beautiful, nostalgic feels. Two lovely pieces of music from two incredible games.
This is what made Ryoma wait 25 turns
I thought it was Xander who waited. If I remember correctly, Ryoma charges at you.
*calm version*..I just..want..t..t.o cry...
*roar version* FOOORRR HOSHIDO!
Hey, A conquest has to be funded somehow, right?
Moonlight Lulamoon
"FOR NOHRR!" --I fixed it for ya.
FOR NOHR!!!
i know Im kinda randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to watch new tv shows online ?
@Sergio Tate Try flixzone. Just google for it :)
How am I getting nostalgia for a game I haven't even played yet?
Thels Sekai Some songs have just the right sound. Conquest from Awakening comes to mind.
+Thels Sekai sounds like the wii play theme
lol. That same song gave me nostalgia of Shadow Dragon and I didn't understand why
+Thels Sekai That is exactly how I feel right now... I thought I was alone...

You can change the song and see the names in challenge fights just go to options
and mine tooo
The kind of music I'd want to hear after getting off from a long day at work.
I like it. It's sort of a "deciding your next move" kind of music.
The new "Conquest". This soundtrack might be better than Awakening's.
mistykait96 I thought you said you liked Conquest better, though?
SamiF11 28 No. I never liked Conquest. Too repetitive and bland.
mistykait96 Oh yeahhh... Yeah, I feel like I'll tolerate Skirmish better. (That's the name of this song if you didn't know.)
+mistykait96 You do realize that Nohr has varying map win conditions versus Hoshidos/Awakenings bland as all hell "Rout the enemy"
This song makes me want to cry at 0:30
+Jerome Dynasty It sends chills down my spine. This song is go calm and peaceful.
+Sans Skeleton me too. I need to get this game. The ost is amazing
I couldn't agree more.
but in a shitty game
Darth_Diminish The Wolf How so?
The part at 0:50 always gets me: I have tears in my eyes every time this piano starts playing.

Agreed, the composer Nintendo has on these games is very talented to come up with nonstop bangers so consistently
I know it's been 3 years, but how was Revelation?

I can't describe how beautiful this is
this song is the song of my castle
same here
Same
same here
I shed a tear the first time I heard this.
Hey you ! Yeah, uh, random question really really quick, but did you happen to play smash 3ds as Lucario yesterday ?
Yoshi Kira (Yoshi Yoestar) No I don't play Lucario.

So nostalgic even though I've been playing it for a while now.

Hope you’re doing well friend
Love this song. I have it as my BGM for My Castle.
Same
Love the soundtrack in this game... especially this song.
I wish I could find the version of this song you hear when going to someone else's castle; the tone and speed was so soothing.
Same. It really bothers me that I can't seem to find that version anywhere.

I can hear this song after seeing that bayoneta is the ballot winner
I've been looking for this ever since I've heard it in the game. Thanks!
+IroncladAlt I can't stop humming this day and night everywhere, this soundtrack is stuck in my mind and I am so grateful you uploaded it!!!!
I listen this song at least once a week
The theme of my childhood, playing my castle skirmishes all the timec recruiting busted einherjar
i love this music maaan
especially when it switch from field music to battle at 0:30 part
Just played my first castle battle - this track plus the fight version really set the mood!
2:10 always hit me hard 😢
I loved and had a blast with fates. Sorry not sorry.
wow the calm and ablaze part have the same effect on me. I can't get enough of this theme

I think I liked conquest a bit more. But, this is still really good.
Love this ost man
I love this and I love you in a non-homophobic kind of way.
THANK YOU!!!!!!!
How the fuck does 'non-homophobic' fit in that sentence
Tanay Suryavanshi maybe he loves him truly
Ventus K I doubt that.
Faisal AlMuallem what a homophobe
Less than 2 hours until the release! :)
+tooncrafter123 Just one month to go! (yay Europe -_- )
This song at 0:50 makes me cry
I can see Etika playing this game when I hear this music 🥲

+Soandnb I think you're talking about skirmish (ablaze).
I honestly don't know. I might just be misremembering what I heard.
+Soandnb reminds me of the intro to Palm Tree Groove /watch?v=lD5fGqObwf0
This is the 3AM anthem.
I'm going on a limb but I say this is the best fire emblem game of all time
+Joseph Franc Depends. The music and gameplay is great, but the writing is pretty bad.
GameHunter720 The WRITING? Are you kidding? I haven't played it yet but I find that hard to believe
+Joseph Franc Have you ever played Awakening?
GameHunter720 Yeah and I love it to deah
+Joseph Franc cool
Corrin and kamui
Just wanted to say should been in smash bros
Smash passed on so many great battle themes! Road Taken, No Justice, Justice RIP....all overshadowed by the overused "Lost in Toughts All Alone"
ALMOST CRIED FROM IT REMINDING ME OF STUDIO GHIBIL
Sound so romantic...

TaE D very interesting storytelling, no doubt
camilla for smash
She appears as a spirit
There’s no way middle school me ate this song… why cant this be in ssbu or even better, as his/her amiibo theme in fe3h or engage
2:10 😁
I’ve destroyed many a Nohrian to this song
:')
:)
@@IroncladAlt sweet
So much better than the crappy Roar version
I prefer Roar but this is very peaceful
Sauce
How to find the sauce
This song HAD to be inspired from Nubuo Uematsu's work in Final Fantasy 10

It does sound like something from ff10
I was wondering whether anyone else thought that this soundtrack had some FFX in it.
Sound so romantic...
