    Video Introduction:
Tourism is one of the most neglected industries in India! and what’s more disappointing is that India is one of the most beautiful countries in the world with the most invaluable assets that very few countries have! We have dense and lush green forests, one of the most Bio-diverse ecosystems in the world, we do not have the disadvantage of extreme climatic conditions like Canada, and most importantly, regardless of which month of the year it is, India always has a wonderful destination to serve the tourists! But even then, if you look at the numbers, Even Honk kong, a country that is smaller than Delhi had 55 Million foreign tourists in 2019 whereas India which is more than 2000 times bigger than honk kong had only 17.9 million foreign tourists!
But you know what guys, the small state of Kerela has been doing an incredible job with its tourism project and in the past 20 years, the foreign tourist arrival in Kerala has shot up by 378% going from just 209,000 in 2000 to over a million arrivals in 2019! How ? Let's understand in this video!

The amount of tourists in Kerala is gonna increase even more because sgk has been selected as the advisor to tourism of Kerala. (Those who don't know sgk/Santhosh George Kulangara is a legendary tourist of Kerala. He is the creator of Safari which is the Nat Geo of Kerala. I visited kerla last month for complete 8 days. And I tell you my friend everything Ganesh mentioned here is absolute truth. Being from Aurangabad, Maharashtra I was like okay we are travelling to another state what's new. only landscape, beaches and mountain. Yeah kerla has it all but they way kerla overall maintained it. It was phenomenal. Not like what i used to about whole indian impression. Kerla maintain good quality roads, quality cleanliness, minium plastic use, well planned infrastructure for tourists and various infrastructure it was literally good. Even though people are so humble and well connected to the culture and especially language. I wish we could have done same in Maharashtra too. So much learnt to being there. I wann go there again and again. God own country.

Great observation Sir. Kerala is one of the least privileged places when compared with any part of India as far as tourism is concerned - you would find all those natural beauty at both sides of Indian coastal areas with much more historical monuments as well as diversity. Currently the Kerala government is working very hard to build tourism through local panchayats. ua-cam.com/video/I4CgMVGnTyE/v-deo.html ; ua-cam.com/video/A3ok7HIuDz4/v-deo.html Clearly benefit should be with locals and they would protect their environments.

Proud to be a Malayali. Tourism industry here in Kerala faced a huge backlash due to covid like everywhere else, many resorts shut down and housebots required huge mainetenance expenses, many people lost jobs...but finally things are slowly getting back in track. Though we can't have foreign tourists , domestic tourists are choosing Kerala for their vacation post covid. The government is actively promoting "Responsible tourism" and trying their best to turn Kerala as a "Workation" destination. Recently introduce Caravan tourism is a part of it which can help tourism immensely.

You definitely seem to not know much when you said "cows are not considered God here". Hence, they're just "Hindus" because their parents were - namesakes. Kerala have direct flight from almost all arab countries, europian and north american countries ( where the rich tourists come 🥱), and the must visiting places in kerala are spread across places, for boat ride u need to visit Alappuzha, to tea plantation scenary u need to visit munnar, for ayurveda treatment u need to visit Malappuram, for cultural kathakali u need to visit trissur so and so, so it always take 10-12 days atleast to see kerala, where most of other States tourist places can be visited within 3_4 days, and kerala is comparatively noise free than north, food is a lot hygenic, almost all places there is someone who know English, all things helps kerala to genarate a lot of spending from tourists ( from both middle class domestic and foreign )

Basically I feel astonished to see Kerala so nice in those video clips in terms of infrastructure, but really we people used to mock ourselves by praising the road transportation facilities of our neighbours... 😅😅
But I should say that if efficiently managed, Kerala will be the best and as another brother said our current tourism minister seems to be planning something big for this state along with Santhosh ettan and many other eminent personalities.

The caption God’s own country not from Amithabh Kanth , it’s from Jayakumar , former tourism Secretary.

Kerala puts strict regulations on industries which affects its tourism sector. That is why there is less growth in other industries. And also kerala government gives more importants in improving the quality of its people's lifestyle

I think less industries is a benifit for tourism , cuz less industries means less pollution , Kerala is a hub for natural tourism . Moreover the climatic drawbacks and politics don't let high scale industries to some extent.

No, less industries are because of communist and oppose everything ideologies and trade unions and millions of harthals by political parties.
