The change from Spiritial Machines to Gravity completely lost me. They just sounded empty and boring. Terrible production. Cliche writing. I poked in every couple of years to check up but no. I felt nothing. Really peaked with this album, imo.
@@chrisxavier3147 Yeah I basically stopped listening to new music around 2012. Maybe one or two new albums a year. It's weird, I used to listen to a new album EVERY DAY

Best live concert of my life in Montreal at Summersault. Our Lady Peace, Smashing Pumpkins, Perfect Circle, Foo Fighters, and the Googoo Dolls...and Our Lady Peace went all out singing from the top of the scaffolding and everyone new every word of their music singing with passion. It was simply magical!
20 years ago i was playing this song on my walkman in the garden , here i'm here again doing the same thing in the same spot .... so many things have happend. so much memorize and change....
Here I am chilling in my bedroom listening to this loud as hell...Im now 38 years old. I found this band at 13. Still makes me feel the same♡ I love this band!!!
"Like anyone worthy. I am flatterd by your fascination with me" that is the opening line to my favorite Alanis song. OLP and everyone from the 90s were such talented artists.
For my mom..Listening to this For you ....She listened to this song a lot In the early 2000s .. I was a preteen/teen at the time & this song reminds me of cruising around in the explorer with her going shopping back then.... She left this world March 12 2020 ... 10 days after her 60th bday .. Infection from Strep throat took my healthy, happy mom She should be here today to rock out to this song in the car i miss you so much mom
YESSSS!!!! Thank you so much for commenting on Jeremy's emotional and compositional understanding of true impeccable rhythmic precision through his drumset!
@Simone LOVE Luckily MuchRetro and MuchLoud came along a few years later but still not as good. I remember watching Much Music at night as a kid when I was supposed to be sleeping lol
OH MY GOD, *I've literally been waiting to rediscover this song for twenty years.* I remembered the "oo-WEE-oo..." part pretty faithfully, but because none of my friends could recall hearing it I was starting to think I was Paul McCartney writing Yesterday... The melody came in a dream, I need to write it before someone else does! I gotta say though... I'm happy it was them.
About 11 years ago I was absolutely obsessed with this song and music video, and used to watch it over and over again. Now I’m in quarantine searching for it, because looking at pictures of all the eerily empty streets in my city (San Francisco) reminded me of this music video. Maybe she didn’t get the memo that we’re all inside quarantined. 😅
How does Our Lady Peace not have a single song with at least 10 million views on UA-cam? So many great songs, this was the one that introduced me to the band
Thank you God for allowing me to live in my prime when music like this was produced. Real music real drums real producers. Our Lady Peace will always be top.
Just saw Our Lady Peace in concert a week ago.... wicked show; but I'm bummed this song wasn't in it. This was the song of my life when I was 16; got me through some rough times trying to find myself. I really hope they put this in future concerts.
I saw this posted in 2009 and thought this song was recent. I told myself: "I knew OLP still has that epic grip on us all"...then I realized the 1999 copyright...guess OLP really has its best frozen in time. I love you OLP, please come back. I'll go into the business side of the music industry just for you
Will always miss and remember this music. They were a Canadian staple and pioneers of music. Big Music today can take a few lessons from a little Canadian alternative/rock band.
I had a psychedelic experience where this actually happened to me. Lasted 7 days for me. For everyone else I never even left. Hearing this song on the radio again triggered the suppressed memory of it. It was hell.
ACTUALLY THIS SONG WAS RELEASED IN 1999 ON THE ALBUM HAPPINESS IS NOT A FISH THAT YOU CAN CATCH. .Spiritual Machines was released in 2000. Thanks for coming out.
Reminds me of junior year of high school in 2001. Friend had this CD playing in his car every morning while we drove through McDonalds to order our egg McMuffins before first class. Didn't see each other all day b/c we didn't have any classes together, and then we'd meet up again after school to listen to more music on his rooftop. It was our daily routine. I have no idea where or what he's doing these days, just a high school memory now.
Got Superman's Dead and Clumsy given to me on a cassette ("mix")tape that changed my life, in 9th grade.. in 1998.. That same tape also contained my introduction to Weezer and Tool, also.
hey guys calm down..it doesn't matter why or how did you came here! the main thing is that u sound this awesome song.. first i came here cause i heard that Kate Moenning is in this music video so i listened it and i totally fell in love with this song. Why can't they make rock like this anymore I miss hearing this stuff on the radio
Last week was very shocked to hear Treble Charger on regular radio! I have had Sirius since 2008. The 30 song pre set is best feature!!
I know, right?!
cause stupid kpop
This is the damn truth. IDC what anyone says, the 90s and 00s were the best time for music. And OLP was a huge part of that, always will be.
You’re listening to it now lol
That kettle sure does test your loyalty and commitment to this song
LOL.
