I love watching Lucas and his brother Jacob's UA-cam channels. Because they don't take themselves too seriously and just do whatever they like just for shit and giggles. Like yes I'm gonna watch them eat cheese slices from the dollar store and rank them because they're both ridiculous and funny to me. I love when they review Lucas's old shows/movies cause you can tell that he gave it his all but he understood that the shows themselves just weren't it. And he's okay with that, he enjoyed the experience.
I tried giving some of the Non-Schneider Sitcoms a chance as a kid, but I would immediately get bored. I've checked some of them out later on, and there's a few good ones.
Neds declassified seriously had me rollin as a kid that was a pure gem, which now they have an official podcast to listen to. While the 90s was the golden age for Nick, 2000’s was definitely the silver age when it comes to Romeo, Unfabulous and of course most popular hits like Drake and josh.

It could’ve been one of the few good Nickelodeon shows there ever was that would actually stand out as a rare breed of those that actually feel interesting with Jerry Trainor and a non-kiddie tone, which is probably why it only ran in 2013 instead of lasted longer… but even without Dan Schneider, it really feels like he was part of the making of this (and I’m not only saying this because Jerry Trainor was in this. Poor guy deserves better… oh wait, had it not been for him, Miranda Cosgrove and Nathan Kress saying yes to an iCarly reboot and had it been for them being more like Jennette McCurdy by staying away from the network, they would be just as respectable) because of Vinnie’s harassment of women.

Definitely consider review The Haunted Hathaways, The Thundermans and Henry Danger in a single video, considering that they are the OTHER Nickelodeon Sitcom Universe
@@UriosEditz i never really cared for thundermans and Henry danger that much as I had enter high school. But I had went back and watch reruns of thundermans and Hd after a bunch of episodes that I had missed while it was at first airing. But now I Carly and Zoey 101 is making a comeback but this time it’s a 102 movie coming soon to Paramount +
I rewatched True Jackson VP last year and it was incredible, I still go back to the trouble in paris episode. Definitely an incredibly underrated nickcom (the ending was horrible though)
I was an 80s and 90s kid, so the Nick sitcoms I remember came from a much older era of the network. Shows like Clarissa Explains It All, Kenan & Kel, Cousin Skeeter, Salute Your Shorts, Hey Dude, and The Adventures of Pete & Pete were the Nick sitcoms from my generation.
I remember loving Bucket and Skinner, and, Zeke and Luther (and literally everything on disney XD) as a kid. But I'm pretty sure that was just because I was a "tomboy" and they were "boy shows". Another show that I loved (I don't remember if it was a nick show, but it aired on Nick in Australia) was Max and Shred. It was about a snowboarder and a science nerd and had that kid from life with boys in it.
Great video Mark. I think you should do another video on the others shows such as The Haunted Hathaways and the Thundermens because it would be really interesting, and also nostalgic for me because I was part of the people who grew up with those shows.
Yeah I grew up with them too. Tbh I was kinda sad by just how abysmal the last season of the Thundermans was. Before that, the show was pretty funny and had enjoyable characters. But then in came the last season with all the reference humour and that’s when I knew it was over…
Some I really remember that whole generation of nick shows (Nicky Ricky dicky and dawn, Henry danger, haunted hathaways, Etc) I mostly watched Icarly and victorious on teen nick and Sam & cat I remember watching on the main channel (Plus the underrated shows that don’t get mentioned *cough cough 100 things to do before high school* I swear I will support that show til the day I die lol
@@Cheetahgirl_Studios I never really noticed that because the last ever time I watched the last season of the Thundermans was the last series of episodes aired on cable and Nickelodeon stopped airing the show immediately that. I enjoyed tho.
I would love for you to do more like these like a thundermans/haunted Hathaways/Nicky Ricky dicky and dawn video (just don’t label them as forgotten) Also shows like Bella and the bulldogs, make it pop, every witch way, & I am Frankie need its own video together Edit: I just remembered school of rock but I didn’t like the ending that much but I haven’t watched it in a long time sooo
Let me guess, it’s gonna be a negative (albeit respectfully so not by forcing everyone to dislike it, but by acknowledging that whether they’re found to be good or not which is always subjective, people may have a soft spot for it because of pre-2020s (let alone 2010s) nostalgia) review when he reviews those and maybe even more.
That would be cool seeing Mark's thoughts on those. I'd be interested in it since I kinda grew up with those, but always had mixed feelings about them. I liked Haunted Hathaways and still do, but I hated Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn, and there were many things I liked and hated about The Thundermans.
I’ll be honest, the Fred movie creeped me out as a kid. When he gets lost and is literally aimlessly wondering around the movie it gave me this very lonely, liminal feeling
A lot of people also forget about acquired shows that aired on Disney/Nick, like Mr. Young, Life With Boys, and Max & Shred. I remember Mr. Young actually had some surprising guest stars, like Nathan Kress, Brian Stepanek, and Ryan Ochoa.
Bucket and Skinner used to show up in a local TV channel here in México... at unemployed/insomniac hours. And I ironically remember that show cause as a highschool student with insomnia, I used to leave it on while I watched UA-cam videos or made my homework lmao. Whenever I see footage of it, memories come back, but that's all I remember about it. Never paid attention to the episodes.
Go for it Mark. Especially the ones that premiered in the middle of the 2010s. Fun fact: the co-creator of Bella and the Bulldogs previously directed a fetish film.
Bro you forgot about supah ninjas, that show is so peak and such a forgotten gem. The worse part about that show is that it got cancelled after 2 seasons and left on a cliffhanger.
5:10 I vaguely remember the show, but remember that scene for the fact that someone put a laugh track over the moment when Wendell ate the peanuts and passed out. Kid’s having an allergic reaction, an LOL moment.
There was a short lived sitcom a few years back they had called Talia in the Kitchen that I worked as an extra on for a few episodes. The show itself was really terrible but the young actors and actresses were super nice and welcoming to hanging out even though I was there for a short time. Director was a nice guy too. Some of the adult actors were very pretentious and the agents that hired us extras didn't even bother to remember our names. But it was really cool to see how this things are filmed behind the scenes. They're shockingly more low budget than you'd think. They really only had like 1 small set and a couple mini sets outside, controlling the camera and shots really created the illusion that the set was larger.
Does anyone remember this show called 101 Things to do Before High School, it was a show that started with a TV movie of the same name, and the show only lasted for one season before getting cancelled. The show was similar to Ned Declassified premise wise and when it was airing on Nickelodeon at the time, I thought it was pretty good.
How about doing forgotten Nicktoons next? Since you looked at some cartoons in the Disney XD video, it’d be interesting to hear your input on the Nicktoons that lasted very shortly such as Catscratch, The X’s, Tak and the Power of Juju, and the most tragic one, Making Fiends on Nicktoons Network, I’d like to see a video on those.
I like the new sharp artstyle of your character, and the background angle is cool. Oh yeah and your content is just funny, laugh after laugh, keep up the great work
Scott Fellows Live Action Nick Sitcoms were definitely the underrated ones. Ned's Declassified was hilarious, Big Time Rush was my favorite, and I thought 100 Things to Do Before High School was pretty good.

I don’t know why but I distinctly remember Wendell and Vinnie was promoted as a Nick at Nite show being aired at the same time as the George Lopez show. It’s definitely odd that this show was clearly made and targeted for the Nick at nite older audiences but it was somehow promoted to kids
I guess it was like an inbetweener show. It's still a Nick at Nite original, but still somewhat promoted through regular Nick, kind of like See Dad Run or Glen Martin.
As someone who partly remembers Bucket and Skinner let me tell you that the annoying girl (her names Piper) has another personality trait. She’s in love with Skinner
Gotta love how MARVIN MARVIN was just MORK & MINDY but without the Robin Williams charm. Also, i think that Ned's Rise in being a fan favorite is because in hindsight it did give people some useful School Advice, BTR actually has a lot of fans which say they are superior to 1D and True Jackson VP probably got a boost thanks to Keke Palmer recent explosion in popularity.
Nah Ned’s was just a good show lmfaoo. We all liked it then and now. It had a very “cartoony” feel for a live action show. Even the actors describe it as that on their new podcast.
You should consider making a video on some OG Teen Nick-era sitcoms like Cousin Skeeter, 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd, The Brothers Garcia, Taina, Romeo!, and Just Jordan.
There were tons of good sitcoms in the 90s and early 2000s that didn't have Schneider's attached to them. There was Cousin Skeeter, 100 Deeds for Eddie McDowd, The Brothers Garcia, Taina & the Nick Cannon Show & even Romeo. Yes, there was Kenan & Kel and All That but Schneider certainly wasn't the end all to be all. Even in the mid-late 2000s, their was Just Jordan and True Jackson VP.
as someone who grew up watching nick, cn, and disney.. Wendell and Vinnie is the only show i actually forgot existed. i didn't watch it but i remembered other shows i didn't watch like.. the rest of the shows here. yes even Bucket and Skinner
i saw “spencer” in the thumbnail and i almost screamed because icarly’s one of the most memorable shows i have ever seen, but then i saw him next to the little kid and i suddenly remembered the other show.
Even if he was a creep, Schneider had a good grip on the company & you gotta admit, he ended up making some pretty damn good TV shows. I also actually liked Marvin Marvin, mainly because it was adults acting around like nincompoops, which is comedy gold to me.
Def a good grip on the company but I was never into his shows. Drake and Josh was ok, but I wasn’t able to get into his other shows. Just gave me weird vibes. Even if you still could get into it & enjoyed the good stuff, I think most ppl can agree there were some creepiness & over sexualization to his shows. And I think J&J wasn’t as bad cuz it starred 2 boys he couldn’t creep on as much, and it was an earlier career show (he def got worse over time).
@@stewboy69 not if they’re bad. Always. Some good ppl make bad shows, and we can’t assume a good person is bad just cuz they made something bad. And of course, a majority of creators are flawed but decent people. So we can’t put them on a pedestal or demonize them, cuz it isn’t fair.
I was actually just thinking about some of the more obscure Nick live action shows from the 00s the other week. Specifically, I was thinking about Just Jordan, and the one episode I recall from it about Jordan wanting to get grills and regretting it. Another show I'm reminded of sometimes is Unbelievable (I think thats what its called).
I remembered Wendell and Vennie and Marvin Marvin. I do often think of those shows maybe once a month each. Especially seeing car commercials cause the dad actor in Marvin Marvin is now the main guy of car commercials (i forgot which ones)
@@combine161 If I asked my parents (who are too old to have any nostalgia for Nick) to name Nick sitcoms, they'd probably only come up with Kenan and Kel + maybe Drake and Josh. Kenan Thompson is too relevant for that show to be forgotten
They could've mentioned the other forgotten Nick sitcoms like Roundhouse, My Brother & Me, Noah Knows Best, the Brothers Garcia, Taina, the Nick Cannon show & Just Jordan. As well as other live action shows such as Secret World of Alex Mack, Mystery Files of Shelby Woo & Journey of Allen Strange.
I remember parts of Marvin Marvin. I liked episode where his uncle came to take him home because he thought he forgot about his heritage but family refuses to let him go. It was a sweet moment.
Saw the title and immediately thought “Clarissa explains it all” and “salute your shorts” then I was 14 mins in and didn’t know any show you mentioned. Turns out, I got old.
I always remember that airing really late in my country, and sometimes I was allowed to stay up for it and it was always a blast. I absolutely love that show
I must be old, because what came to mind when you said Nick sitcoms was "Kenan & Kel", "Sister Sister", "Clarissa Explains it all" and "Sabrina the teenage witch"
Kenan & Kel and Clarissa are the only Nick originals in that bunch. Sabrina aired originally on both ABC & the WB with repeat airings on Nick. Sister, Sister also originally on ABC/the WB and repeats aired on Disney channel in the U.S.
I remember watching Nick in the mornings in the mid 2010’s and seeing them push new sitcom after new sitcom out to see what would stick. It was a bad time.
2 other shows I remember is one from the 90's/00's where a genie lives in a household of 2 teenage girls and their father who is a genius. And one a little later with a guardian angel taking care of a teenager until he gets his wings. there also is a racoo doll, who actally is a another guardian angel possessing the doll who forgot her identity unti her mind is swappen inside that of the teenager. That's all I remember about them though
Actually. We DID get new fred content after the movies and show. He did a full finale for fred. Ending in him handing off the fred channel... and revealing fred to be a separate entitity to lucas and rhat nick kidnapped fred for the movies and tv show...
The actor for Kevin was one of the only ones who were in all three movies. He may have hated filming those too, yet put the most amount of effort in than anyone. It's so unnecessarily extra he must have liked filming them
My brother and I were part of a program where we would preview shows for Nickelodeon. I got to preview so many shows and felt so proud whenever one would make it on air. I remember previewing Marvin Marvin and felt like a friend had made it. Some others were previewed were Team Umi Zoomi (parts were still in black and white sketch, and bot sang his belly screen song sooooo much), Winx club, Mike the Knight, some show about snowboarding Max and Shred, Dora in the big city, Bella and the bulldogs, and others i don't remember that never made it on air. Good memories
If Wendell and Vinnie was pitched to Netflix or a more adult TV network, and Vinnie had an adult roommate, or even just toned down the kid stuff, it could be popular and well received. It has potential with an older audience. As in teenagers and young adults

Dude just has so much charisma still.
Good on him for making his bag with Nick and being able to make whatever content he feels like now
Yes Jacob is so funny he’s such an underrated UA-camr
I love Lucas and Jacob!!
YES also I like "Pomeranians" and will not tolerate this slander
I don't know what is crazier. The fact that Fred has multiple movies and shows, or that Mark has seen 13 Reasons Why.
I actually really loved the haunted Hathaway's when I was younger. Even though it had poor ratings, I still feel like it had a lot of potential.
I tried giving some of the Non-Schneider Sitcoms a chance as a kid, but I would immediately get bored.
I've checked some of them out later on, and there's a few good ones.
#lsmark u should try every witch way
Neds declassified seriously had me rollin as a kid that was a pure gem, which now they have an official podcast to listen to. While the 90s was the golden age for Nick, 2000’s was definitely the silver age when it comes to Romeo, Unfabulous and of course most popular hits like Drake and josh.
heck yh , those drake and josh re runs still hits hard , and drake needs forgiveness , so a d & J reboot becomes possible
7:26 “I’m against the show introducing alcohol to kids” 7:39 “I have alcohol in the house and my husband and I have an occasional drink” oh.. so you’re introducing alcohol into your children’s lives💀
Imagine if Nick made a Patchy the Pirate sitcom with Potty, I’d be all for it. Would love to see more of that SpongeBob fanatic’s life and adventures in Encino.
I would unironically love a patcy sitcom
😅 plz
I remember liking Wendell and Vinnie solely because Spencer was in it 😂
He was the only good thing in that shit show
It could’ve been one of the few good Nickelodeon shows there ever was that would actually stand out as a rare breed of those that actually feel interesting with Jerry Trainor and a non-kiddie tone, which is probably why it only ran in 2013 instead of lasted longer… but even without Dan Schneider, it really feels like he was part of the making of this (and I’m not only saying this because Jerry Trainor was in this.
I liked it cuz Buddy was in it 😭
Mark is really going after all channels now, it's beautiful to see
Me waiting for the CN real video
Its really funny how the Wendy and Vinnie pilot is literally just a clone of an iCarly episode. Like. Literally an identical plot.
Honestly I preferred Ned's Declassified to most of Dan's sitcoms and after rewatching it again it makes me enjoy it more.
JZProductions26 interviewed Devon AKA Ned's actor on his podcast and there was a lot of cool BTS stories like how Carlos from BTR was supposed to be Ned! JZ has also had on Kendall Schmidt from BTR and Tom Kenny AKA the VA for SpongeBob!
Definitely consider review The Haunted Hathaways, The Thundermans and Henry Danger in a single video, considering that they are the OTHER Nickelodeon Sitcom Universe
They are in the same universe than iCarly etc.
@@jayjaybulldog9180 i never watched those shows at all cause they didnt appeal to me
I did not think I would ever have Marvin Marvin cross my mind ever again
Max and Shred aired on Nick in America, but then they put it on Nicktoons for some reason. It was always a weird show to me.
@@JustEpic_Yt Yooooo broo. That is the exact same experience I had when I was watching those shows bro.
House of Anubis was another goated one. Doesn’t hold up as an adult. The acting is so wonky. But back in the day it was the best.
When I was a kid I thought Dan Schneider owned and made every single Nickelodeon show
I would love for you to do more like these like a thundermans/haunted Hathaways/Nicky Ricky dicky and dawn video (just don’t label them as forgotten)
Also shows like Bella and the bulldogs, make it pop, every witch way, & I am Frankie need its own video together
Edit: I just remembered school of rock but I didn’t like the ending that much but I haven’t watched it in a long time sooo
Finally someone mentions Make It Pop, I feel as if no one remembers this show
Every which way also that show was kinda cool
I thought make it pop was a Disney Channel show until now
That would be cool seeing Mark's thoughts on those.
Young actually had some surprising guest stars, like Nathan Kress, Brian Stepanek, and Ryan Ochoa.
oh I remember Mr, young i used to love that show
"My kids can't watch me and their father drinking all day BUT THE TV TIME IS SACRED!"
"i can't be expected to parent my children or explain to them why they shouldn't be drinking at 8 and 6"
On vacation and an LS Mark video?! It’s gonna be a great day!
Matpat didnt upload fnaf timeline part 3 today and im here to cry about it
Why does Wendell look like a young version of Mark? It's uncanny, and frankly, I'm scared by it.
Really? Where'd you find that out?
Bro you forgot about supah ninjas, that show is so peak and such a forgotten gem. The worse part about that show is that it got cancelled after 2 seasons and left on a cliffhanger.
Prob because it was more of an action comedy than a straight up sitcom
@@abiodunsulaiman2297true
I remember my brother watching that when I was really young lol
I remember that!!!
I thought so to
How about doing forgotten Nicktoons next? Since you looked at some cartoons in the Disney XD video, it’d be interesting to hear your input on the Nicktoons that lasted very shortly such as Catscratch, The X’s, Tak and the Power of Juju, and the most tragic one, Making Fiends on Nicktoons Network, I’d like to see a video on those.
Oh my goodness have you've seen this one called kaput and zosky?
One of my favorites on nicktoons (yeah it was aquired but still)
I would love that too! He should do all the ones from the late 2000s like Barnyard, Mighty B, Penguins of Madagascar, etc.
That would be interesting
The original Making Fiends web show introduced me to the world of indie internet animation and for that I'll forever be grateful
I like the new sharp artstyle of your character, and the background angle is cool. Oh yeah and your content is just funny, laugh after laugh, keep up the great work
Just throwing this out there but I always look forward to new stuff from ya, I hope to make content as amazing as this someday
Forgotten Nickelodeon Shows you forgot
The Naked Brothers Band,
Unfabulous and
Just Jordan.

Knowing Kevin’s actor hated playing him makes it even better to watch
The Fred Nickelodeon arc is the greatest in TV history
Sure it was 😂😂

I'm surprised that LS Mark missed True Jackson VP. I remember watching that show when I was a kid.
i saw “spencer” in the thumbnail and i almost screamed because icarly’s one of the most memorable shows i have ever seen, but then i saw him next to the little kid and i suddenly remembered the other show.
Even if he was a creep, Schneider had a good grip on the company & you gotta admit, he ended up making some pretty damn good TV shows. I also actually liked Marvin Marvin, mainly because it was adults acting around like nincompoops, which is comedy gold to me.
With dan its hate the creator love the creation
@@catsworth633 You took the words right out of my mouth.
True. Always separate art from the artist (only if they're a bad person)
It was Unfabulous
I remembered Wendell and Vennie and Marvin Marvin. I do often think of those shows maybe once a month each. Especially seeing car commercials cause the dad actor in Marvin Marvin is now the main guy of car commercials (i forgot which ones)

I remember parts of Marvin Marvin. I liked episode where his uncle came to take him home because he thought he forgot about his heritage but family refuses to let him go. It was a sweet moment.
Max and Shred was so obscure that even mark wouldn’t talk about it.
Wait, is that Hawk from Cobra Kai? In Marvin Marvin?! Damn I'm getting old..
even YOU didn't mention “The Troop” the only few sci-fi shows on Nick, might have been the only one i think.
Another sitcom that no one remembers but still got 4 seasons was every witch way, which was basically Nick's answer to wizards of Waverly place
Saw the title and immediately thought “Clarissa explains it all” and “salute your shorts” then I was 14 mins in and didn’t know any show you mentioned.
Turns out, I got old.
"See Dad run" was an amazing series. I think the actress is the same that plays the sister in "Zeke and Luther"

I must be old, because what came to mind when you said Nick sitcoms was "Kenan & Kel", "Sister Sister", "Clarissa Explains it all" and "Sabrina the teenage witch"
I think two of those shows are from different networks
Kenan & Kel and Clarissa are the only Nick originals in that bunch. Sabrina aired originally on both ABC & the WB with repeat airings on Nick. Sister, Sister also originally on ABC/the WB and repeats aired on Disney channel in the U.S.

I can’t explain how much I loved this video
If Wendell and Vinnie was pitched to Netflix or a more adult TV network, and Vinnie had an adult roommate, or even just toned down the kid stuff, it could be popular and well received. It has potential with an older audience. As in teenagers and young adults
