There's something about sports like this, and Gaelic highland games, that I appreciate so much more than typical weightlifting. Maybe it's the connectedness to culture, or the way you can see how it arose from work/labour to become a reason for fun and celebration.
It's a more practical sort of strength. Not that regular weightlifting is bad for people by any means, but yes the way it reflects the lifestyles of people or their ancestors makes it more relatable and fun to watch for most people I think.

If they cared about "great work" or being honest, they'd take down their video about Billy Mitchell's world record and make an apology video for keeping it up for so long.
I'd love to see a video on how they cut their stones into cylinders and spheres (or pour). They're obviously not using sonotubes and Slater atlas stone molds
I don’t know about today but i spent about 5 wks in the summer of 1970 at a campground on the Atlantic right outside San Sebastián, Franco’s summer house btw, and distinctly remember Franco’s civil guards with those tricornered hats, constantly harassing Basques right on the beach just about everyday, while i a foreign tourist, was never once approached for my I.D.

Athletic Bilbao not Atletico Madrid...and they do sign non-Basque players (like those born in Navarra and La Rioja), they just need to come up through Bilbao's academy.

And people wonder if Aliens built the ancient structures. It was definitely humans.
@@marshallmcluhan33 true. It could be that aliens do exist. But don't you think that there is a bigger chance that structures were built by humans

Hard to WATCH the video and READ the words at the same time. It would make much more sense to use a translator.
They’ve had this style for years you could just put the video on .5 or .75 speed
I would be careful calling Basque "Spanish". There is a lot of violent history there. Still, cool video.
