- on this episode of the woodshop stop I build a perfect small plant stand made of oak and walnut. this could be considered a scrap wood project, because I use pieces of scrap wood laying around the shop. I borrowed the concept, but I alternate it. I start this project by jointing the two boards that I use for the base. when that is finished I take the boards over to the miter saw where do I put 45° angles on one end of each board by lining the boards up together I can cut the 45 for both boards at the same time. I got the angles on the post is afterwards, putting 15° angles on both ends. I grew up the two pieces for the bass and put one screw in to hold it together. I also drive two screws from the underside to hold the post in position securely. gluing the boards together for the top piece and cutting a mortise in the center on the underside are the final stages. then I do some sanding and finish it off with a wax oil. thanks for watching the video. if you haven't subscribed to the channel please consider subscribing my woodworking channel. be sure to hit the like button and the bell for future videos.

I like how I just get right down to business on this one by jumping right into the starting out with a jointer. Tell me what you guys think.
I am liking this build! Thanks for sharing this table!
Thank you, it was a fun build.
Very nicely done.
Thank you.
That is a clever design and has a nice look. Nice job.
Thanks
Very cool!
Thanks
WoW way cool
Thank you.
Nice job! How well does that sanding disk do on the table saw? i have one of those but never have used it
It works great I like the idea of having a flat surface to reference from that allows for a perpendicular finish surface. Thanks
