I picked up the blinding orange SL4X model and it plays fantastic. Swapped the DD pups out for Dimarzios and the thing is unbeatable. BTW, I remember the 80's like it was yesterday. A great time for guitar innovation. I remember seeing my first after market Dimarzio and fell in love. Been a Dimarzio fan boy ever since.
And guitar is bought. Thanks for helping me settle my purchase. :) Thing felt like a shred machine digging the tone options and tremolo so much on this slx3. It was either this or the Dinky.
Total eargasm, man! Quick question if you don’t mind me asking, a brand new SL3X vs a used 1993 MIJ soloist (if you ever played one), in a normal used condition. For about the same price, which one would you choose? Big like and sub, dude!
Dude you shred , I noticed your video as I saw the pink sl3x and am thinking of buying one. How do you find the Floyd special and the painted neck. My other superstrat is a charvel so cal and I also play les Paul’s. Your sl3x sounds and looks great. Would be interested to hear your opinion. Best wishes .......Paul
Hi Paul, this Jackson is a very good guitar for its price. The Floyd holds tuning very good, you can play like a beast with your tremolo without problem. The painted neck is very comfortable and flashy, so 80s! There are many guitars most expensive with greatest equipments but this Jackson rocks and do the job perfectly!
This is just orgazm, I can't tell to others why we guitarist connected our guitars like this, They never get that energy anytime with anything. Those are stock pickups or did you change them ?
@@GaspardGuitar No need in my modest opinion. If I would be able to play like you then I would just and only play. I got same beauty but in White Pearl, after my first love Aria XL DLX which was really crappy in electronics (pickusps, pots, etc) it was my second instrument. Then I bopught SL7Q with Seymours but it doesn't do much difference. All depends on your style of playing and on sound/effect you use. You are great guitarist so you can play on shovel and it will sound just perfect ;) keep rocking man. You got new subscriber ;)
That is the most gorgeous pink ever
Dude this rips. Awesome job
I'm getting serious George Lynch vibes! Stellar phrasing, style and amazing '80s tone!

Out of all the “shred sessions” this is by far my favorite..
The tone and play😮😮😮
It sounds like greg howe, george lynch, van halen, slash, randy roads, glemp tipton all in a just packed!!!!
Very nice.
There's some lamb chops rights there. Enjoyed the improv
The VHS's behind makes it more 80's
