What a wonderful story! It warms my heart that Big Bob still has his dad to keep up tradition.....especially in a small town where everyone knows each other.
    Long live Frank's Cafe!!!

When traveling, we always stopped at Mom and Pop restaurants in small towns off the main roads. Best food and prices, always got my moneys' worth, plus friendly folks and conversation. I avoid chain restaurants with their premade and nuked food!
Folks who only drive the freeways and tollways don't know what they are missing - the heart of America!

Paco was crazy old man, i was there with my female cousin one night and he walked by with his walker and stopped dead in his tracks. He looked her up and down and said “ damn girl you with all them curves and me with no brakes “ lol 😂

Used to eat here quite often when I worked as a field mechanic. The food is the best for at least a hundred miles.

From the dog with swagger trotting down the sidewalk to the dad trying to remember the fourth name he goes by this was a great segment.

40 years ago I spent 3-4 weeks in Hebbronville, working in the Oilfield. Frank was doing the cooking back then. We stayed every night & drank beer after steak dinners. Frank would always say, stay and have a good time, have another beer.
