Hey Dave, My wife and I and our whole dog pack sent the BarkBox for Huck. We had to drop ship it directly from BarkBox because they switch out toys so quickly and we wanted to make sure she got the Box of Cryptids with Bigfoot in it. They were supposed to put a note in there but you know how that goes with drop shipping. Anyhow we hope she really enjoys all the toys as much as our dogs do. What a great treat for Huck! Yes, BarkBox is a thing. Surely they have a selection for big dogs who are so hard on their toys! The alien box was genius, but Dave may want to follow up and get others. Hi We also get a BarkBox Super Chewer box for some of our dogs that are really hard on the stuffed toys. Our Goldens carry the stuffed toys around in their mouths and wander aimlessly around the house. LoL. Our Catahoula and Heeler definitely need the Super Chewer. Monty

@@montysetzer9446 So SuperChewer IS a thing! That is good, because there is nothing sadder than a shredded dog -or cat - toy that has to be discarded! My two cats can do a lot of damage, especially to their catnip-stuffed “pickle” toys. Not hard to imagine what a big dog’s teeth do to cloth toys.
G'day Dave, I remember when I was about 5-6 yrs old and I was on a cattle station in Nth Wst QLD, Australia. I had wondered off by myself just outside the homestead yard, I was looking at the table top hills in the distance and started walking towards them. I was following the cattle pads leading out from the yards and I was a good half a click away from the house by now and stopped to look around. I had the feeling of being compelled to keep walking but also knew I should turn back. As I was looking back at the house l turned around to continue on when a Thorny Devil lizard stood on the track in front of me and it looked up at me. I froze in my tracks and screaming ran faster than I have ever run in my life! When I got back to the house my Nana gave me right dressing down! I believe that lizard saved my hide that day.
Dave, I lived in California City, which is near Mojave, CA. While out exploring one day, my husband quickly grabbed our dog's collar and held him firmly. They were standing atop a rise and when I reached them, my husband pointed out a large opening which descended at an angle into the ground. It was large enough that someone dirt biking could have come over the rise and driven directly into it. I'm not saying this is what happened to Eddie Williams. I don't know if there are such abandoned mines near Victorville, but I believe it would be possible for a biker to go up a hill not knowing such a mineshaft could be located on the other side. The biker wouldn't have time to react and even if they were able to somehow turn their front wheel quickly, the bike might still impact part of the opening, thereby damaging the bike and possibly the rider. Of course, if the rider managed to go directly down the shaft, who knows how long the shaft stays wide enough to swallow up the rider and his bike? I have only recently discovered your channel, but I find the information you present to be disturbing at the least. Kudos to you for amassing the evidence and presenting it in a concise manner. I have been telling my friends and relatives about your channel. I have not yet purchased your books but I plan to, and also I watched Missing 411 the movie and found it fascinating but scary.
That's very interesting Leilani, and something worth considering as a possibility 👍 I think what goes on below ground, is as much of a feature as what goes on above ground.
@leilaniworrell7323--Yes, I too was a devout dirt biker & quit due to age. But I've found completely open vertical mineshafts, quite deep. Not all have been "netted" with steel mesh by the BLM, even now. If a rider & bike went down into one, it would be very hard to find them. Nothing would be visible from the ground or air. There are also deep dry washes with vertical embankments. A crippling fall into one, especially in that heat, would be fatal as well. And the first (& subsequent) flash flood(s) through the ravine would bury & conceal both motorcycle & rider. The desert holds a lot of secrets.
It’s a Bark Box! I used to get those every month for my Yorkie. She liked the box coming to the door for her. We had so many toys, we donated 50+ toys to our local shelter, so each pup got a Christmas Present from Santa. 🎅🏽
If your riding a motorcycle, you are invisible. So if you act accordingly knowing they don’t see you. It’s called self preservation. There are old riders and bold riders, but no old bold riders. Stay safe.
My husband was killed on his motorcycle 6 yrs ago now. He got hit by a box truck that was coming over a hill way too fast and didn’t see him. So true what you said about being invisible-I have had close encounters myself because I didn’t see the motorcycles. I’m very aware of it now, and I still find it difficult to always see them, so I can’t fault people who truthfully just don’t see it. Still-it sucks
@@Jlmmmk-cw6bk Condolences, and I agree. My nephew died on his motorcycle a few years ago now. He'd had a full life at age 60, but it was still too early for him to go in my opinion.
Hey Dave, I was part of a search near that area for the USAF way back in 1992. Rough area. A Marine group hauled us deep into the Mojave desert, we each had water, boxed lunch, and a snake bite kit. 110 degrees that day. We were searching for an aircraft part from a fighter jet that crash landed at Edwards, AFB. You don’t realize how much fluids you are losing because it’s a dry heat. A person wouldn’t last long out there…
The area in the second story used to be our backyard and my husband was a deputy in the high desert back then. I can't wait for him to watch this one so I can ask him what he remembers. The desert can be many things, beautiful, peaceful, strange, scary....

I've driven thru Victorville once and I had a friend that lived there back in the late 80's and early 90's, and you're accurate about the area and lifestyle. Riding dirt bikes is what people do there. And it's super desolate. The high dessert is deceiving. It gets hot and can get very cold, and being able to see for miles, the distances are hard to gauge
The missing 2 year old boy is an other classic case, and another great find! These cases that you bring to our attention, show us a mark in time as to how far back you can track missing 411 cases. As I listen, I thought to myself where’s the dog? With the 2 year old? I believe the two year boy was dressed as he was because he was being potty trained. I am born and raised in raised Californian, there are a lot of strange locations to stumble upon in CA. They seem to be basically hiding in plain sight. I have had my share of experiences. Malibu Creek Park National State Park is one of them. I am not one to stay on the trail, but while on the trail I noticed people (bike riders, joggers, city folks, etc) are not aware of their surroundings. I wish people would pay attention while out in nature, it’s not your local park. Strange things go on. I mean I have gone into those hills with my sister believing we were there maybe 2-3 hours and headed out ,realizing we were there 5-6 hours. Places in that park you will lose cell service. We would go 3-4 times a week hiking anywhere from 5-10miles. We would “off road “ and explore, which I don’t recommend. We have found locations with huge sea shells about 15x20” fused to huge boulders, prehistoric size seashells. We found crystals, falling from a hillside that was collapsing with boulders falling to the bottom creak bed area. I am just not the person who likes to stay on the path. Please respect nature while visiting and be safe. I asked the park rangers about what I found and they said they have never seen these things. They asked where but I wasn’t to interested in giving them one of me off road locations. But in that area my compass would spin, while using my canon camera my camera photos would be blurry, as if they were spinning a circle with odd objects inside pictures. I believe nature is an unknown location please treat it with care and respect. Enough of that. Thank you Dave for being this valuable information to use. You are truly valued and appreciated Mary
Hi Dave, in the 80s we raced out at Anderson dry lake area. We also rode out there for fun. Never in July though. As much time as we spent out there, I never saw a mine shaft or tailings piles. That's ridiculous if you ask me. He fell in a mine shaft. Dumb. If I would of known then, the story you just told. We wouldn't of went. Finding riding boots and clothes here and there, I've never seen. But, scary. When I saw someone broke down or crashed it really bad I would stop and help them. During a race or not, it didn't matter. That's how people were then. I feel so bad for his buddies and his family. I love the desert. I now live in Utah. I'm to old and worn out to ride anymore. Dave I have rode in that area for ten plus years , one thing most are not aware of is mine shafts,they can be hard to see and aren’t marked, had a friend that accidentally rode into one , only dumb luck that someone in our group saw a helmet being thrown up in the air , the rider got real lucky the shaft was only 15’ deep, but not so luck as to the one he dropped in to also had a rattlesnake in the bottom, he had nightmares for years.

Dave, this video prompted a memory from my childhood. In 1978 my father planned a two week family vacation, where we drove from Peoria, Illinois to Santa Ana, California. I can remember my dad and grandfather sitting at the kitchen table with paper maps and a road atlas, planning our driving route. My dad’s greatest concern was driving through desert and making sure we had secured enough fuel for that passage of the trip. We had a wonderful vacation and no problems thanks to my dad. Your videos always leave me thinking of the dangers we can encounter when in nature. Have a plan man and never take things for granted.

My great grandfather had a ranch northwest of that area near what is now Black Butte Lake in a town called Newville west of Orland. I asked my dad who is 93 told me his dad my grandpa told him about this missing boy. My grandpa and several of his brothers were part of the search parties at the time of the search they reconned he was taken by a mountain lion. My dad and I were both born and raised in Red Bluff.

I've commented on a lot of David's videos & watched literally every video he's made. But the bikers story just freaked me out more than any other I've heard. 2 bikes, perfect working order, in a remote desert, who's first thought was Close Encounters of the Third Kind, with the huge boats being returned scene? Then finding other bikers clothes is the most creepiest & sinister thing ever. Absolutely Terrifying.
Yes, I found the discovery of scattered biker clothing and boots very disturbing. Why would that rider leave the group unless to relieve himself ? Not a voluntary action I fear …
My goodness...I know life is so busy, but I can't imagine ever taking my eyes off of my 2-year-old. Toddlers are basically mobile infants who can get into dangerous trouble in a split second. As a grandmother now, I get to observe this reality all over again with our healthy, active grandson. So very sad for any family to lose one of their children.

My husband and I ride ATV' all over the US. We ride by ourselves, so we go prepared what anything we can think of. We have a sat phone, personal locator beacon, camping supplies, food, water, medical supplies, weapons, etc. If we have a problem, we are on our own. Let me add we are in our late 60's. We have turned over before and you can't contact anyone with a phone, so you better have other options!

Unless Ive missed it I haven't seen much on people going missing on the Gunflint Trail up on the Arrowhead of MN. I grew up there and I remember people out blueberry picking disappearing. If a body wasn't found they'd blame the bogs.
I’m curious if they ever did any investigating on who the other bikes belong to in 1976? It wasn’t that easy but I wonder if there are any abandoned bikes in that area now that were the same reason
Good data. Can’t wrap my head around the two year old going beyond 2-3 miles from his house. Surprisingly law enforcement was not called. Luckily he was found. Thank you for your content.
There was no police forces then. Each county had a sheriff and deputies and transport was by horse back, wagon or buggy. There was early phone service then.

My wife and I and our whole dog pack sent the BarkBox for Huck. We had to drop ship it directly from BarkBox because they switch out toys so quickly and we wanted to make sure she got the Box of Cryptids with Bigfoot in it. They were supposed to put a note in there but you know how that goes with drop shipping. Anyhow we hope she really enjoys all the toys as much as our dogs do. They definitely can sniff the box when it arrives and know it’s for them.

What a great treat for Huck! Yes, BarkBox is a thing. Surely they have a selection for big dogs who are so hard on their toys! The alien box was genius, but Dave may want to follow up and get others. If I had a dog, I surely would.

We also get a BarkBox Super Chewer box for some of our dogs that are really hard on the stuffed toys. Our Goldens carry the stuffed toys around in their mouths and wander aimlessly around the house. LoL. Our Catahoula and Heeler definitely need the Super Chewer.

@@montysetzer9446 So SuperChewer IS a thing! That is good, because there is nothing sadder than a shredded dog -or cat - toy that has to be discarded! My two cats can do a lot of damage, especially to their catnip-stuffed “pickle” toys. Not hard to imagine what a big dog’s teeth do to cloth toys.
G'day Dave, I remember when I was about 5-6 yrs old and I was on a cattle station in Nth Wst QLD, Australia. I had wondered off by myself just outside the homestead yard, I was looking at the table top hills in the distance and started walking towards them. I was following the cattle pads leading out from the yards and I was a good half a click away from the house by now and stopped to look around. I had the feeling of being compelled to keep walking but also knew I should turn back. As I was looking back at the house l turned around to continue on when a Thorny Devil lizard stood on the track in front of me and it looked up at me. I froze in my tracks and screaming ran faster than I have ever run in my life! When I got back to the house my Nana gave me right dressing down! I believe that lizard saved my hide that day.

Dave, I lived in California City, which is near Mojave, CA. While out exploring one day, my husband quickly grabbed our dog's collar and held him firmly. They were standing atop a rise and when I reached them, my husband pointed out a large opening which descended at an angle into the ground. It was large enough that someone dirt biking could have come over the rise and driven directly into it. I'm not saying this is what happened to Eddie Williams. I don't know if there are such abandoned mines near Victorville, but I believe it would be possible for a biker to go up a hill not knowing such a mineshaft could be located on the other side. The biker wouldn't have time to react and even if they were able to somehow turn their front wheel quickly, the bike might still impact part of the opening, thereby damaging the bike and possibly the rider. Of course, if the rider managed to go directly down the shaft, who knows how long the shaft stays wide enough to swallow up the rider and his bike? I have only recently discovered your channel, but I find the information you present to be disturbing at the least. Kudos to you for amassing the evidence and presenting it in a concise manner. I have been telling my friends and relatives about your channel. I have not yet purchased your books but I plan to, and also I watched Missing 411 the movie and found it fascinating but scary.

@leilaniworrell7323--Yes, I too was a devout dirt biker & quit due to age. But I've found completely open vertical mineshafts, quite deep. Not all have been "netted" with steel mesh by the BLM, even now. If a rider & bike went down into one, it would be very hard to find them. Nothing would be visible from the ground or air. There are also deep dry washes with vertical embankments. A crippling fall into one, especially in that heat, would be fatal as well. And the first (& subsequent) flash flood(s) through the ravine would bury & conceal both motorcycle & rider. The desert holds a lot of secrets.
It’s a Bark Box! I used to get those every month for my Yorkie. She liked the box coming to the door for her. We had so many toys, we donated 50+ toys to our local shelter, so each pup got a Christmas Present from Santa. 🎅🏽

If your riding a motorcycle, you are invisible. So if you act accordingly knowing they don’t see you. It’s called self preservation. There are old riders and bold riders, but no old bold riders. Stay safe.
My husband was killed on his motorcycle 6 yrs ago now. He got hit by a box truck that was coming over a hill way too fast and didn’t see him. So true what you said about being invisible-I have had close encounters myself because I didn’t see the motorcycles. I’m very aware of it now, and I still find it difficult to always see them, so I can’t fault people who truthfully just don’t see it. Still-it sucks
@@Jlmmmk-cw6bk Condolences, and I agree. My nephew died on his motorcycle a few years ago now. He'd had a full life at age 60, but it was still too early for him to go in my opinion.

Hey Dave, I was part of a search near that area for the USAF way back in 1992. Rough area. A Marine group hauled us deep into the Mojave desert, we each had water, boxed lunch, and a snake bite kit. 110 degrees that day. We were searching for an aircraft part from a fighter jet that crash landed at Edwards, AFB. You don’t realize how much fluids you are losing because it’s a dry heat. A person wouldn’t last long out there…
When buying dog toys always wash them to remove the release chemical that's on the toys when they make them from Southeastern Pennsylvania

The area in the second story used to be our backyard and my husband was a deputy in the high desert back then. I can't wait for him to watch this one so I can ask him what he remembers. The desert can be many things, beautiful, peaceful, strange, scary....

I've driven thru Victorville once and I had a friend that lived there back in the late 80's and early 90's, and you're accurate about the area and lifestyle. Riding dirt bikes is what people do there. And it's super desolate. The high dessert is deceiving. It gets hot and can get very cold, and being able to see for miles, the distances are hard to gauge
The missing 2 year old boy is an other classic case, and another great find! These cases that you bring to our attention, show us a mark in time as to how far back you can track missing 411 cases.
As I listen, I thought to myself where’s the dog? With the 2 year old?
I believe the two year boy was dressed as he was because he was being potty trained.
I am born and raised in raised Californian, there are a lot of strange locations to stumble upon in CA. They seem to be basically hiding in plain sight. I have had my share of experiences.
Malibu Creek Park National State Park is one of them. I am not one to stay on the trail, but while on the trail I noticed people (bike riders, joggers, city folks, etc) are not aware of their surroundings. I wish people would pay attention while out in nature, it’s not your local park. Strange things go on. I mean I have gone into those hills with my sister believing we were there maybe 2-3 hours and headed out ,realizing we were there 5-6 hours. Places in that park you will lose cell service. We would go 3-4 times a week hiking anywhere from 5-10miles. We would “off road “ and explore, which I don’t recommend. We have found locations with huge sea shells about 15x20” fused to huge boulders, prehistoric size seashells. We found crystals, falling from a hillside that was collapsing with boulders falling to the bottom creak bed area.
I am just not the person who likes to stay on the path. Please respect nature while visiting and be safe.
I asked the park rangers about what I found and they said they have never seen these things. They asked where but I wasn’t to interested in giving them one of me off road locations. But in that area my compass would spin, while using my canon camera my camera photos would be blurry, as if they were spinning a circle with odd objects inside pictures.
I believe nature is an unknown location please treat it with care and respect.

Hi Dave, in the 80s we raced out at Anderson dry lake area.
We also rode out there for fun. Never in July though. As much time as we spent out there, I never saw a mine shaft or tailings piles. That's ridiculous if you ask me. He fell in a mine shaft. Dumb. If I would of known then, the story you just told. We wouldn't of went. Finding riding boots and clothes here and there, I've never seen. But, scary.
When I saw someone broke down or crashed it really bad I would stop and help them. During a race or not, it didn't matter. That's how people were then. I feel so bad for his buddies and his family. I love the desert. I now live in Utah. I'm to old and worn out to ride anymore. Thank you Dave.
Dave I have rode in that area for ten plus years , one thing most are not aware of is mine shafts,they can be hard to see and aren’t marked, had a friend that accidentally rode into one , only dumb luck that someone in our group saw a helmet being thrown up in the air , the rider got real lucky the shaft was only 15’ deep, but not so luck as to the one he dropped in to also had a rattlesnake in the bottom, he had nightmares for years.

Dave, this video prompted a memory from my childhood. In 1978 my father planned a two week family vacation, where we drove from Peoria, Illinois to Santa Ana, California. I can remember my dad and grandfather sitting at the kitchen table with paper maps and a road atlas, planning our driving route. My dad’s greatest concern was driving through desert and making sure we had secured enough fuel for that passage of the trip. We had a wonderful vacation and no problems thanks to my dad. Your videos always leave me thinking of the dangers we can encounter when in nature. Have a plan man and never take things for granted.

My great grandfather had a ranch northwest of that area near what is now Black Butte Lake in a town called Newville west of Orland. I asked my dad who is 93 told me his dad my grandpa told him about this missing boy. My grandpa and several of his brothers were part of the search parties at the time of the search they reconned he was taken by a mountain lion. My dad and I were both born and raised in Red Bluff.

2 bikes, perfect working order, in a remote desert, who's first thought was Close Encounters of the Third Kind, with the huge boats being returned scene?
Then finding other bikers clothes is the most creepiest & sinister thing ever.

Yes, I found the discovery of scattered biker clothing and boots very disturbing. Why would that rider leave the group unless to relieve himself ? Not a voluntary action I fear …
My goodness...I know life is so busy, but I can't imagine ever taking my eyes off of my 2-year-old. Toddlers are basically mobile infants who can get into dangerous trouble in a split second. As a grandmother now, I get to observe this reality all over again with our healthy, active grandson. So very sad for any family to lose one of their children.

I just want to thank you for giving us some hope in finding out what's going on with all these missing people my best friend has been missing since 1998 his name is Jonathan Mark McNabb missing out of three Rivers California sequoia national park I think it fits in perfectly we never found anything hoping you can do a video about his disappearance if you haven't already

These disappearings.....I.....dadgum it is going to continue and (I truly pray I'm wrong) is gonna get worse. And I DON'T HAVE A CLUE HOW TO AVOID IT. Because it doesn't make sense. Everyone have a GREAT day.
My husband and I ride ATV' all over the US. We ride by ourselves, so we go prepared what anything we can think of. We have a sat phone, personal locator beacon, camping supplies, food, water, medical supplies, weapons, etc. If we have a problem, we are on our own. Let me add we are in our late 60's. We have turned over before and you can't contact anyone with a phone, so you better have other options!

Unless Ive missed it I haven't seen much on people going missing on the Gunflint Trail up on the Arrowhead of MN. I grew up there and I remember people out blueberry picking disappearing. If a body wasn't found they'd blame the bogs.

I’m curious if they ever did any investigating on who the other bikes belong to in 1976? It wasn’t that easy but I wonder if there are any abandoned bikes in that area now that were the same reason

Had to be carried are transported some how guarantee he didn't walk that himself
There was no police forces then. Each county had a sheriff and deputies and transport was by horse back, wagon or buggy. There was early phone service then.
