If you enjoyed the driver radio moments from the series, NASCAR on Fox uploads "Radioactive" every week after each race with a compilation of driver radios.
A Great NASCAR race highlights to must have to watch is the first NASCAR race after 9/11, I was actually at the race it was something special just to see how patriotic the fans were and the finish is just absolutely AMAZING!! I still can't believe I was there to watch all in person!!!
Interesting fact, ross won the race. This was normal for decades until the playoffs started in 2005. Typically about half the time the championship was being raced at like 14th and the race lead was up front. It was nice having that again and I am glad ross kept that tradition alive.
I was there at the final race, it was so intense from beginning to end. I was rooting for Blaney the whole weekend so when I saw him take the lead during the final 20 laps, I was excited but also nervously watching for anything to change
So Ryan’s dad Dave drove nascar in the late 90’s early 2000’s and they are from originally like 10 miles away from where I’m from and used to own the local race track around here so our area is still linked to the Blaney’s (most of them but Ryan still live round here) and the great things they’ve done for the racing community in Eastern Ohio/Western Pennsylvania.
