I'm from eastern europe and sometime i like to watch nascar races just for the fun of listening that V8 engine sound. I think this ZL1 was the brightest star at Le Mans. That blue colour, insane LED's an a v8 that was impossible to pass without being noticed, is just show on 4 wheels
The one lug nut thing, it's spring loaded, the air guns socket has a special clip that will basically hold the spring open, it'll go over the single lug stud, sort of pre-guiding the threads to prevent the lug stud from stripping.
Nascar will be lucky to survive at this point. 90% of the teams are talking about walking away because of the contract dispute and the greed of the France family. Hendrick wanted to send a msg with this race. They are perfectly capable and willing to take their teams to a new series.
The GTe cars are limited to 525hp vs the 750hp of the unrestricted Nascar, a minute on a laptop to de- restrict the GTe cars and they will blow the Nascar away
The Garage 56 car was impressive, but it should be embarrassing for NASCAR -- remember, not only did this car not qualify for GTP (or any other known class), it was a rolling exhibition of a gazillion things you CAN'T do in NASCAR (unless you've got the money for a basket full of quarter-million dollar fines.). Yep, it was really impressive, and I watch much of the 24hrs this year -- now lets turn the garages loose and see the car Europe saw on our North American NASCAR tracks -- at least before they try a new venue in Djibouti or Zambia; now, that would be impressive...
NASCAR pit crews are true professionals these days, like they are not only in excellent physical shape and train, they manage things like blood sugar and stuff to keep clear heads!
Please go watch the many interviews and documentaries on this car. Should they could’ve made it run at 1000hp but would the engine go the distance on that power, probably not, so they had to sacrifice some hp and top end rpm to ensure the engine could go the distance.
They finished 39th. Now lets get more Nascar cars at Le Mans. LMFAO they just knock all the other cars out of the race, rubbin is racin" right? I'd really like Nascar to split the field and do a 24 hour race. Nascar is broken. Let it die a natural death. Arigatou gozaimasu Senpei. Thanks.
Let's just bring some facts to this... as with most fans I loved seeing this thing at Le Mans. Brilliant, and Im a big Camaro fan anyway. But saying it beat Ferrari, Porsche and Aston Martin is very disingenuous. LMGTE cars are very restricted in performance from aero, engine, weight and tyre regulations. The Camaro was allowed to have free reign with the engine with more power, gearbox mods, suspension, brake upgrades, aero changes, they took weight out by replacing metal structures with carbon fibre, and even used wider tyres.... THIS THING WASN'T A NASCAR any more than the Porsche 911 LMGTE is the same as the one you drive on the road. If you took an LMGTE car as far from their strict regulations as this Camaro was from Cup car regulations then it woild be a very different story. It would be gone. The jack thing is funny but again the facts: the jack isn't the critical path in a pitstop. Its a single push jack which takes about the same time to depoy as the air jacks. In fact I like it, other teams should use it and save weight on the car. Also worth noting; F1, the nost advanced racing in earth also uses manual jacks. But as I said, we all loved it anyway. Sounded great, ran well. Shame they had reliability issues and lost a lot of time but it was a brilliant addition to the race. They should have a whole series of cars built to these regulations. I'd watch that.
Imagine NASCAR doing an endurance race during the season. Something like a 12 or 24 hours at Daytona or Watkins Glen. Use it as a mid season race.
Lmao 24 hours of Talladega.... 5 cars finish

In the late 90s and early 2000 900 and 1,000. They were turning almost 10,000.
They have detuned NASCAR so much over the last
They have detuned NASCAR over the last 20 years!

HP was kept low to guarantee it would safely last 24 hrs.

I like your desktop background man
Western Europeans have the nerve to call Americans arrogant.

ill have to do that :)
Free Bird was on replay for 24 Hours!
NASCAR is in no way inferior it’s just a different kind of Motorsport

I know this is blasphemy, but I want to see Tesla race. Period find a way to race.
