I went to Alton Towers a month or two ago and i wish i saw this video before i went, i had never been on a rollercoaster before so this was my first time and for my first coaster I went on Thirteen and honestly it was amazing even though i was scared at first. For me it's scarier if I actually see the ride which sounds a bit odd but with Thirteen because I couldn't see what was going to happen I gladly went on it, the next time I go to Alton Towers i'll definenetly keep this video in mind, thanks for the video :)

I’m terrified of rollercoasters but mostly the height so towers is the park for me. If you are worried about going on reborn DONT be in my opinion the commentator of the video is describing it as very scary but to be completely honest it’s so chill like going on I was so scared but it’s definitely a good one to start with not only because you feel like you’ve conquered your fear already but it can boost you moral for future rides like smiler.
Ngl , im horrified of roller coasters but im gonna hop on nemesis or smiler to and just deal with it wish me luck

when i first went on octonauts coaster i got scared, that intense drop tho 🥶 its so scary
I dont know why but the first coaster i ever went on was oblivion i thought i would hate it but i really enjoyed it
I feel like blade is a great starting ride, i went on it quite a few times, it was very helpful to my dear, as my mom was extremely scared of rollercoasters, and sort of imprinted that on me, my sister though, the complete opposite, so she helped me get over my fear
I started with the Octonauts Roller Coaster adventure… and then Rita
I went yesterday and I knocked out nearly everything! I got my first ride on nemesis and a double ride on wicker man as everything was 30-0 minutes. galactica is the most fun and comfy rollercoaster I have ever been on also 😂
I went to alton towers with my school,and the first roller-coaster I ever went on was Rita 😅
I’m not afraid of Rollercoasters but I’m just deciding to Watching these

Progression takes time and it took me years to work up to the smiler (and other coasters in general), glad I did though, it was amazing! Definitely recommend, rollercoasters are designed to scare, but they’re also designed to entertain. They are fun, safe and thrilling! Progression takes time but you can work your way up, I believe in you! ❤

I went the other day. I went on Galactica, Wicker Man then Oblivion. If been on them before, but this time Wickerman overtook Galactica for my to spot. This time i really appreciated the theming and the magnificent rickety twisty wooden monstrosity that looks cobbled together by crazy people.
i really wish nemesis was open right now because i feel like i can do that one and same with galactica so i’m gonna start with that one

im so excited to finally visit alton towers. my #1 bucket list rides are the smiler, nemesis and oblivion :). im from germany near phantasialand
That’s so exiting ! I went to phanstasia land for the first time and thought it was phenomenal. You will love smiler and nemesis ! Make sure to do other unique rides such as Alton manor and nemesis sub terra !

Tbh i would recommend do galactica then wickerman, height restrictions dont matter when thinking of this scenario and its less intense.
I went to alton towers for my first ever theme park with my friends and they handcuffed me to smiler so i couldnt back out. I was not happy for that to be my first ever roller coaster ride 😭😢
this is really late but i’m going next week with my dad who’s a huge enthusiast and he’s gonna make me go on oblivion and smiler so i’m gonna try and convince myself it will be fine ong im so nervous thoughhhh
the only ones I am going is runaway mine train and wicker man I hope it will overcome my fears
Tips for going upside down
I went to alton towers today and most of the rides are too fast to contemplate the upside down feeling
i can say you can’t feel it, when you go upside down i didn’t even realize
Don't look sideways. Look at the track or car in front of you.
Only ride that inverts riders and the smiler which has 14 and nemesis which is closed atm but other than that they dknt

Ik it’s abit late but buy a fast pass for oblivion so that your mind can’t put you off it and get straight on that helps me alot

The reason why Nemesis is world famous is because of the Nemesis monster
im going back to alton towers at the end of the month, last time the 3 worst ones i did were wickerman, rita then thirteen and im thinking i will just go on oblivion or the smiler first since im mostly scared of going upside down so the smiler would be perfect for that i feel like and if i follow an order the queues are too long so i wont have enough time, should i just go on a really intense one first?
I would personally recommend Galactica and nemesis reborn before smiler if you are scared of inversions (upside down)
@@CoasterJens ok thanks ill do galactica first, imo nemesis is worse than smiler due to your legs hanging but yea galactica is good to get used to the feeling of it ok thank you

I heard you could pass out on Oblivion, as the G-force is high enough.
I have never heard of anyone passing out on oblivion from G-force, I’m afraid that is false information
He thing is i cant go on nemesis because they are remaking it

What’s the reason you’re scared ? Is it the inversions or the theme etc ?
@@CoasterJens the amount of inversions get me sick when I walk into the queue and in general just looks like I’m gonna be Thrown off it
@@KeiraDoesDIYits best to just re-assure yourself you wont and go on it anyway, if you dont like it, you dont need to do it again

not fully u need to do things like oblivion or nemesis to get over ur fear fully, wickerman isnt intense enough
