- In this video I will tell you the best way to beat all the queue lines when you next visit Alton Towers in the 2023 season.
If you’ve ever been to Alton Towers on a busy day, you’ve definitely seen how big and annoying the queues can get for each of the rides, so if you follow the ride order and tips in this video, then you will get as much time as possible in your day to save time, and get on more roller coasters/rides.

I have never been as i live in the south, going there for a few days and i am very exited!
It's great fun, but bring some comfortable shoes. You don't realise how big it is until you're there
I have yet to make my way across the pond to Alton towers and Thorpe park. By train I read its aprox 3/4 hours between both parks. I will want to spend two days/ nights at both parks. Fast pass so I can take my time exploring and riding everything. Saved 8k so far. So by next year Perhaps I can make my way over there😉 Nemisis is a must so thats fine that I do not uave enough to go this year.
I might go this year, there’s this place nearby called Hermitage Farm. We would stay there for one night, go to the theme park and stay in the hotel for one night, go to the water park, go to the farm and leave. But we don’t know if we will yet
I went to Alton Towers with a charity my sister is a youth ambassador for almost a year ago now. Each group did have a planned route based on age and group size but our group was like "screw it" and just went on whatever rides had the lowest que time
Always found it better to do Nemesis and Air first, then go to Smiler and Oblivion then Dark Forest then Wicker Man
Last day of the season + fireworks + nemesis last day. This was my order, 13, Rita, hex, nemesis, air, nemesis, wicker Man, smiler, fireworks, air
The only time I went on Wicker Man first thing is because at the beginning of the day, the pre-queue only had like 15 people in it. Ended up being on the first ride of the day.

I will remember not to go to 13 if it’s raining as I will rush as quick to Rita, straight away. I say, visitors will have to rush off to avoid traffic as Wicker Man will be quieter. My carer will pay for my lunch as prices are going up. From a distance, I will have a look at the construction site of Nemesis for my dad. Incidentally, The Haunted House is coming back after a 20 year break.

Also, The Smiler has a single rider queue, and there's another ride in the building behind the World Of David Walliams... most people think it's an indoor roller coaster....

I think I heard that th13teens tire lifthill issue in the rain has been sorted
since speaking to some 13 operators from last season, i don’t think it has, however it would be amazing if they do manage to sort it! wouldn’t be an easy task to sort tho 😮
I also heard it was related to brakes too? According to the ride operatives, Th13rteen has the worst operating window when it comes to weather.
I’ve headed there I could skip the queues and everyone I mean everyone told me the queues are hours
