I don't get it when people made fun of his voice. EVERYONE AGES and so does his voice ! That doesn't change the fact that he was a legend. And he will always be one. Rock On Jeff !!
Even in the tone he has he’s in key. Sounds way better than most guys his age. Most of the guys from that era sound terrible. Tesla still sounds great. His voice is still great.
We were all good lookin and fit when we were younger but only a small percent age gracefully. U jus never know. Be happy to be alive. These guys had it all during that small moment in time. Respect TESLA✊👊
Amen bro. That fella has been wailing for 3 decades and his pipes are just wore out. Being on the road doesnt help either. This song still holds up after all these years, and I pity those who would ridicule him for trying to keep the music alive.
Para quienes dicen que los músicos de este género son solo ruido, ahí está demostrado que eso solo te lo da el paso por un buen conservatorio. Podemos ver la influencia de Bach.
Are any of you making the harsh comments still able to do alot of the things you did when younger the same way now older? Don't be haters people are still buying tickets and having a good time.
@@briansmith4082 Ditto that. Kudos to him for trying to keep the music alive after all these decades. No one in our age group, those of us who were there, can say we are what we were 30+ years ago.
Thank you! I think they sound great.Besides does anything sound the same recorded as it does in concert. It doesnt people.I don't care who the artist is
Not a matter of being a hater. Some people just need to know when to hang it up! When you're of the age of retirement, you don't continue, YOU RETIRE! Why? Because you don't perform as well as you use too!
I just tesla on the second show of the shock tour in Chicago and it was one of the best concerts I have ever seen!!!! He sounded great and the double guitar work was was excellent and I will go see them again!!!!
I Love Tesla the lead singer is one of a kind very handsome and I could listen to him 24 hours a day I CAN'T never get enough of Tesla I'm in love with the lead singer he is so fine 👏😇💓🕊️🙏💖❤️💕
I was there- Frank was riding his bike during Styx and stopped and talked with us. He is amazing. Love this band and can honestly say their music saved my life so many times.
I love Tesla but I think Jeff needs to sing in a lower register. Every now and then you can hear his voice drop to that register and it sounds so much better
Absolutely. I wrote that above before seeing your comment. I loved these guys, but wow, they really need to figure out what to do about the upper end of Jeff Kieth's range. They should tune way way down, like at least a whole step, to give him a fighting chance. Unfortunately, it does sound like ass and by continuing to put on those sorts of performances he is only tarnishing the memory of what was once an awesome band.
I am amazed some of these bands last so long like Tesla with a pretty unique singer and a voice that cuts like a razor and they bang a lot of shows in during the year. First time I saw them was supporting Def Leppard ain Bristol in the UK in the 1980's they blew me away and I still love em.
Just saw these guys with Def Leppard. Amazing show! Vocals sounded great. Cameras don’t capture the real sound of ones vocals...guitar work was amazing, would like to see em again
Steven Tyler's old, and his vocal cords have been medically and sonically test and they're still young and he still sounds the same pretty much... 750,000 vibrations per sec...
The first time I saw them was in 1989, at Irvine Meadows. It was Kix, Tesla, and Queensryche. Great show! The last time I saw them was in 2004 at Mandalay Bay, on the Into The Now tour. Tommy was still with them. Another great show!
Hey now, I think some of y'all may be a little harsh... We are all not what we once were, however kudos to Jeff for still getting out there! Tesla brings back some many great memories! Cut the guy some slack! He's 60 years old and was recovering from hip replacement... Just checked out some recent St. Louis shows... He looks and sounds pretty good to me! I still love me some Tesla and can't wait to see y'all on Sunday!.... Little Lucy's on the UP!!! ;~) .....\' '/ \' '/
Just comes a time to hang it up or make a change. His voice isn't there anymore. Just isn't working as well as in his day obviously. Vocal changes or call it a legend

I watched a video with Tesla where the lead singer acted like he was on something the entire video. My wife said he acted like he was on cocaine
These guys brought so much to the music scene they didn't get near the recognition they deserved . I saw them Live what a band who Rocked your face off . Absolutely THE SHIT!!!
He doesn’t sound as great as he used to, but I would rather listen to old rock new rock, over any hip hop crap. Us Rockers need to continue supporting rock, either good or bad.
He always sang with a scratchy voice when he was younger and it always sounded kinda cool and bluesy, but WOW, all that smoking destroyed his voice. He sounds like Daffy Duck singing now. Damn shame.
Probably over 30yrs of screaming didn't help either. I remember when Hatfield lost his voice during the black album tour. He saw a professional and got himself right. Some will lose it from screaming like Brian Johnson, he can't hit the high notes any more.
You know, they're a great band. Hard to say they didn't get recognized. They have some incredible songs and they're no hair band. Jeff Keith's voice always left me wondering, how long could that smoker voice last. I don't even know if he smoked, but who didn't.
Man when they came out modern day cowboy in 86 before guns n roses before all those fans out of Seattle no makeup rocking and kicking ass they don't get enough credit they're held in regard in my mind to ban such as Aerosmith more of a 70s band it was refreshing and needed at the time and came it was an awesome time for music and I don't mean guns is from Seattle I'm talking about all the grunge bands that came out in the early 90s these guys were way ahead of them that's the kind of said it trends that you didn't have to be poppy pretty boys to sell records and kick ass
