I think what kept these guys from super star status is the fact they were not willing to gimmick their act. They are hard rock at the core, no extras just the raw music and all that talent. I saw them in concert 5 times.

Man VRock was one of the best things about Vice City. Tesla, Autograph, Def Leppard, Anthrax, Alcatrazz, Iron Maiden, The Cult, and a handful of others not forgetting LOVE FIST. Such an awesome soundtrack! Really had a bigger impact on my music tastes later on them I ever thought it would at the time and sent me down so many rabbit holes.
My biggest influences when I first started playing guitar: Van Halen, Rhoads, Page, Lynch . . . and FRANK HANNON! Terribly underrated and tasty. Awesome.
I haven’t a clue why these guys don’t get more love and recognition. It boggles my mind. Guitar’s are sick, God I love Tesla. Saw em 93 the Rupp, by far one of the best live shows ever. LOVE YOU GUYS, SO AMAZING, JUST TAKE A LISTEN, DAMN FRANKIE🤟🤟
Jeff Keith is an incredible lead singer with Tesla...and has been for 27 years! I just saw them again for the 20th plus time on Friday night and it was incredible

I saw these guys live in 1987 and they opened with this song. They were opening for Poison. All these years later and seeing Tesla live 3 different times, I must say... Tesla is amazing and on my shortlist of favorites.

So the CD has an extended solo where Frank goes into a voice-box, its just F'ing EPIC!!, Frank is such a kick-ass player, no frills, stupid tapping all night, just bad ass, tasteful fast blues. one of my fav players. LOVE Tesla!

Saw these guys play live on the 25th anniversary of the Five Man Acoustical Jam tour in Guelph Ontario. Poorly promoted by the venue and only about 50 people. But it was FRIGGIN' AWESOME! They played like they were playing to 1000! I'd seen them a couple of times before but don't remember them playing this song. Heard it acoustically for the first time and thought what a great song. THEN, I bought Mechanical Resonance and this song blew my mind!!!
If anyone here has any doubts they've been able to maintain this high-energy level or performance, just go see them on their 2019 SHOCK TOUR. You will be blown away !!
Saw them in St. Paul last week. Truly the best show I've ever seen as the guys were having fun up there and they really left it all out on the stage. Absolute perfection in their playing and showmanship. And BTW - I was blown away!!
an old girlfriend got me into tesla in 86 followed them for a few years then lost track of them forgot how good they were loved this will keep my eyes open in future thanks for uploading

They weren't that big yet. They blew up with Love Song and signs, think is was the great radio controversy. Hell been awhile. I turned all my buds on to this band with this album mechanical resonance. I love every tune on it!
They opened with this song in June of 1986,at the Fast & Cool Club, in Lubbock, TX. I gpt to hang out with them after the show for an hour or so. I was invited to get on their bus to go to the Texas Jam, at Cowboys Stadium. Being the 17 yr old turk I was, I said I had to be at work the next morning...doh! 😩 😆

14 years ? We were jamming TESLA back in the 80s their first album came out mid 80s, at least I think it did. We did ALOT of drugs in the 80s

That is some of the best guitar playing I've seen. It's very fast, yet tasteful and the clarity of the notes is unbelievable. What a truly great band!

I used to practice right next door to these guys around 2004-2005. They were always really cool and ALWAYS drinkin a buncha Coors Light haha.
